About: I grew up in farm and ranch country caring for horses, cows, goats, cats and lots of dogs, so animal care has been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember. Dogs are my favorite. I have three of my own: Willie (a Dachshund), Shelby (an Australian Shepherd) and Reba (a Cavapoo). I love the outdoors, so your dog gets real exercise, like morning hikes at Nockamixon, Ralph Stover and the Delaware Canal towpath. You'll get photo and video updates every day. My work schedule varies week to week, but I always plan pet care around it. Your dog gets a long morning walk or hike before I leave, and my mom is often home during the day for potty breaks and company. Evenings are for walks, play and couch time with the pack. I usually have a couple of full days off each week to spend with the dogs, and I’m happy to work around your schedule for drop-offs and pickups. When boarding, your dog stays in my home on just over two acres in quiet, rural Ottsville. The property isn’t fenced, so guest dogs are always on leash or a long line outside, with plenty of room to sniff and explore safely. My three dogs are friendly and social, and every stay starts with a meet-and-greet so I can make sure everyone gets along. For house sitting and drop-ins, I keep your pet’s feeding, walking and medication routine exactly the same and treat your home with respect. Every dog gets its own cozy space to rest, and I can crate if your dog is crate-trained.
