When we first did our Meet and Greet, we had 3 dogs but before she sat for us, we sadly and very unexpectedly lost one of them. She was so patient with our 2 girls and it went well. This most recent time, the loss has really set in for our girls. One was just fine but the other has reverted back to her behavior when we first got her. She was abused prior to us adopting her and is super skittish. Emily was SOO SOO patient with her and kept us up to date with everything that was going on. Despite our dog's behavior, it was a relief knowing that Emily was there with the girls because of how great Emily was with her. Overall, can't recommend her enough and will definitely use her again in the future, if we get enough courage to go on vacation again.”

About: I’ve always had a huge affection for all animals. Growing up with cats, dogs and even having my own as an adult has given me the experience to treat your pet just as you would! I work in center city Charlotte and have a flexible lunch schedule. I’d be available before, during, and after work for potty breaks, feeding, and of course play time. I’m also available on most weekends for extended stays. I live in a very spacious townhome with plenty of room. I also live across the street from a park that would be great for exerting that energy before bedtime! I can also crate your pet if needed.
About: I have had a variety of different types of four-legged babies throughout my life from the beginning and can't imagine a world without them! I'm thrilled to be a part of the Rover community, and always appreciate the opportunity to care for yours! As a devoted lifelong pet owner myself, I understand the unique needs and joys that come with caring for animals of all ages, sizes and personalities! Whether your child needs lots of attention or is indifferent, takes medication like a treat or requires a trick, gets along well with others or not…as long as you share what they need to live their best life while you’re away I will make it happen! In addition to Rover, I own a small business ("furEver heArt") creating custom, interactive pet artwork! I'm happy to offer a discount on an original "furEver heArt" creation for all of my Rover clients! I'm currently not working and am doing Rover full time. While I may step out for an hour or two, I am home the majority of the day. I have a pug pup too and sometimes she comes with me on drop ins if you have a socialized pup who’s down for a play date! I live in an apartment and don't have a fenced in yard, but my community has plenty of green spaces and dog park for potty breaks and light walking. I have several repeat clients, some who I have never met in person. I understand it can be unsettling to leave your fur-child in the care of a complete stranger! When doing drop in/walking visits, I will respect your home, your privacy, and your pet(s).

We absolutely love Allie! She has stayed overnight at our home with our cat and dog on several occasions. We always come home to happy pets and a clean house. Allie goes above and beyond, particularly for our dog who requires special care. We were out of the country for her latest stay, and felt totally comfortable knowing our pets we're in good hands.
Ashly was wonderful! Our dog Rosie unexpectedly went into her first heat right before our trip, so we had to make last minute arrangements for her. Ashly saved us and took great care of Rosie. She was caring and trustworthy and sent lots of pictures and updates. Rosie had to wear diapers and had to take bathroom breaks during the night, and Ashly was so patient and kind. She also took great care of our house while we were away. We definitely want to have her sit for Rosie again soon!!
Yvonne was all around amazing! We had an unfortunate event happen to our dog Hudson the morning we were leaving town and he ended up having to get his toenail removed and was given medication to be administered twice daily and had to wear a cone and a foot bandage. So what was supposed to be a pretty low maintenance pet sitting job turned into something much bigger. I cannot express how amazing Yvonne was through it all, so communicative, gentle, flexible and understanding! She was even willing to help us out by taking him to the vet to get his bandage changed. It was so stressful to have all that going on to our dog while we were thousands of miles away but she sent us updates multiple times a day with photos which helped ease my anxiety and stress. Yvonne was by far the best sitter we have had! We will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone needing a truly high quality and caring sitter!
Salina is absolutely wonderful! 💛 She is so amazing with Opal, and Opal has a wonderful time with Juni, Salina’s pup. You can tell that Salina really does have such a love for animals, as she goes above and beyond to take care of our girl. She has even trimmed Opals nails and gone to the pet store to get the specialized dog food that Opal must eat, and always makes sure there is plenty of food for when we get home from our vacation, so we don’t have to rush to the store right away. Salina always leaves the house very clean and tidy, which is obviously so nice. She has sat for us twice, and is booked to come back at the end of the month. Couldn’t recommend her enough! 🤗
Ana did so great with Griffey!! ☺️ She has a great house, nice big backyard and a great personality. She sent me pictures throughout the day of her caring for Griff, playing fetch outside in her backyard multiple times a day, and a walk!! Griff came back exhausted and happy 😊 Griff would always get so stressed out when I would drop him off for boarding. Not with Ana. I would definitely recommend Ana for your pet care needs and will be booking with her again when I need it!
Samuel was the best dog sitter! He was so kind to our dogs and sent us a ton of pictures. He cuddled with our dogs and took such great care of them! It was our first Rover experience and we will 100% use Samuel again to sit with our pups. It gave us peace of mind to he gone.
Sierra stayed at my house to watch my girl over a long weekend! She took great care of my dog and was perfect with communication. She even dealt with some stray possums in the yard and made sure to keep both my dog and them safe. I will definitely be using Sierra again in the future and would recommend her to others!
