About: I have had my Rottweiler (Chet) for 12 years and she is absolutely my favorite person. She is a part of my family and I tend to her the same way I do for my 4 year old son. About: Growing up with dogs as a part of the family I have taken care of them my whole life. When I was 15 my family brought home a new puppy and I didn’t have a summer job, so she was my responsibility. Over the years I have taken care of dogs of all ages from energetic puppies to senior pups that need a little more love and understanding. I have administered medications and eye drops with ease and few trick up my sleeves. I enjoy having training sessions with the dogs and even teaching them a new trick while their family is away. This helps give them something to focus on and encourages bonding between us. I would be honored to take care of your furry family member while you’re away. Potty break is the first and foremost needed when I arrive at a client's home. Then a walk, a little time for some training and a little bit of play as well. I work as a science teacher and am contracted weekdays from 7am - 4pm and will always check that I am able to give reliable and consistent care before accepting a reservation. My uncle previously was a breeder and he would have my sister and I take care of the puppies during his work days. I scheduled a drop-in visit with Sarah who will be housing sitting for my dogs in July for the first time. Sarah was great, came in and made my German Shepherd Cooper comfortable, Cooper who will be 2 in August gets nervous around new people. Sarah played with him and gave verbal commands that my dog obeyed very well. Put me at ease about going away in July.
We have two large Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Jess was very comfortable and confident in watching them. They are well behaved dogs and they took to Jess from the initial meet and greet. Jess was very communicative during her visit and we would certainly use her again!
Rebecca is fantastic! She is extremely kind and down to earth, she is exactly who we were looking for to take care of our cat for a few days. She was very understanding of our cat’s shy behavior and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable! She left him a scavenger of treats, was very communicative, easy to work with and trust worthy. Will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!

I contacted Jess (thru Rover.com) again because she was great w/my 2 cats the last time and I'm so glad I did. It was wonderful to come back and see that neither of them were traumatized at all! She contacted me every day and provided me with pictures. Jess went above & beyond and took great care of them! I left her a good tip and she deserves every penny AND MORE!!
