About: I’m a full-time work-from-home professional. Unless I’m traveling for work, I’m home with the pups all day, giving them plenty of attention, love, and care. Please message me for availability—my schedule can often be adjusted to fit your needs. A Few Things to Know: - I focus on dogs 45 lbs and under to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable. - Dogs will be staying in my home, not a separate kennel area. - I offer free pick up and drop off services so you have one less thing to worry about! Pick up and Drop off must be during daylight hours. About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geometry terms). About: I have a lifetime of experience with animals starting from my first day as an infant. I grew up with multiple cats in the home with learned, gentle-respect and patience that cats require. I also grew up with a shetland sheepdog, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. As an adult I have significant experience with caring for dogs and cats alike both in my home and in other homes. My own animals, two dogs, a cat, and a 70 gallon fish tank, remind me daily of the joys and importance of animals. I have an anxious 74 pound hound and a nervous 30 pound beagle of my own, so I understand the needs of special breeds and animals coming from previously difficult situations. I have the patience needed to address nervous dogs and have experience with clicker training and am educated in techniques for dog training. I do not breed discriminate. I have fostered kittens and adult cats and have experience with syringe feeding and medicine administration. I also have my own rascally kitten, Hazel, who keeps me entertained. In my experience with fish and aquariums I can clean, feed, and help with tank design or water cycling conditions. Note: I am selective about in home care due to a cat being in the home - this is for the safety of my own animals. Thanks. Your pets will be the utmost priority and I can adjust my schedule to meet your needs. I can assure timely feedings, walks, and potty breaks so your pet is comfortable and you are assured! I will treat them as my own. Our daily routine is FULL of pet fun and enjoyment. First thing in the morning is a walk and potty breaks, followed by feeding, the rest of the day would follow similarly with 4/5 mini walks and dinner at ideal time. Potty before bed time and no pet will be left alone for more than 3 hours and if preferred never at all.

Because I work from home full time, your dog will rarely be alone and will get plenty of supervision, affection, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large single-family home with lots of space to relax. There’s a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, as well as a spacious front yard — but please know your dog will never be outside unsupervised. In our home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the couch and even in the bed for snuggles at night if that’s what they’re used to. My boys love giving extra attention, playtime, and belly rubs — always guided by what your dog is comfortable with. “Bruno has received the best professional and personal care during his first daycare experience with Ella. We have met a Ella a day before to see how Bruno is going to like the place. Ella got a great big home with fenced backyard, which Bruno felt home as soon as he entered the home. We talked and learned about each other and dropped Bruno with Ella next day. We have received regular updates and photos from Ella to let us know how Bruno is doing throughout the day. He enjoyed his stay and played well with other doggies and don't want to come home when we went to pick him up. Bruno gave a special hug to Ella before jumping back to his car. About: I'll love them like their my own. I'm new to Rover but I've helped friends, family and neighbors care for their fur babies for the last 30 years or so. I grew up with Old English sheepdog but love all animals. My friends joke that I can't go anywhere without meeting a new dog friend. Outside of school drop off and pick up times I'm available to help with your pets care. I'm available from 8am-10pm most days and can also do overnight if needed. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. During our consultation we can go over your pets specific needs which I'm happy to accommodate as well as a meet and greet so you and your fur baby can feel comfortable with me.
