About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. About: Hi all! I am interested in doing some petsitting to find some dog friends for my pup. I am not a full-time dog sitter, however, I'd like to find some more dogs that my dog will play with & hopefully build some puppy friendships. I live in Leesburg and WFH. I work from home & my dog is cage free all day. We usually do a longer walk in the mornings (between 6-7am) and play outside when it's cooler, then a short walk around lunch time, and another walk around sunset. Bedtime is around 9:30 in our house. Ideally I'd like to find other low-medium energy dogs that play well with my dog and can be trusted to free roam/play around my townhouse while I work. As long as I am not traveling, I am available on holidays as well. I am very informed when it comes to dog training as we always had to have our German Shepherds trained. I am comfortable walking dogs in the area, taking them to nearby dog parks, giving treats, and of course lots of pets!!☺️
About: I’ve cared for my friends' dogs, who always trust me with their pets, and I also looked after cats during college. I’ve been a sitter on Rover for two years, including caring for sick dogs.
