About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a little tot. From cats to dogs, I do it all. When leaving your pet with me I will make sure to take top tier care of your baby. As I know how nerve racking it can be to leave them when you’re away. I will send updates daily to give you a peace of mind that they are in good spirits. Look forward to meeting your fur baby. <3 My day to day schedule is very flexible so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet(s). Whether you need someone full or part time. When caring for pets in your home I love written instructions, but can easily adapt if there are none. If wet outside I will let them out to go to the bathroom then dry their fur before letting them enter the home.

My weekly work hours are from 8am-5pm on depending days! About: Hi, I’m Kaylee! I’m based in Rockwall and I live with four dogs, so I understand better than most what different personalities, energy levels, and quirks look like and I meet every pet exactly where they are. I have a background in healthcare and just finished my graduate degree in nutrition, so I’m not exaggerating when I say I take animal wellness seriously. I’m completely comfortable with medications, special feeding schedules, dietary needs, or any specific instructions you leave, following care protocols is genuinely second nature to me. I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life, and I know how much peace of mind matters when you hand your pet off to someone. My goal is always to send you home (or to work, or on your trip) feeling totally at ease. Walks are tailored to your dog’s energy and personality, not just a checkbox. Drop-ins are never rushed; I stay, I play, I make sure your pet feels loved. House sitting means your home and your pet both get my full attention and care. Expect photos, videos, and updates throughout every visit because you shouldn’t have to wonder how they’re doing. Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I’m currently in a flexible period between positions, so I have a lot of availability right now, including weekends and most weekdays. I genuinely enjoy building relationships with regular clients and their pets, so don’t hesitate to reach out even if your needs are recurring or ongoing! Since I offer walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I’m coming to your pet in their own space, which I think is one of the best things for an animal’s comfort and routine. I treat every client’s home with complete respect and care. I’m experienced with following detailed instructions, administering medications, and handling pets of varying temperaments. Your pet stays in their familiar environment, their routine stays intact, and you get someone with a healthcare background making sure everything runs smoothly while you’re away.
About: Having had dogs my whole life, they’ve always been my favorite animal and a huge part of my life. I love spending time with them and providing care, whether it’s offering companionship, administering medication, or comforting anxious pets. Pet walking and watching allows me to share my love for dogs while giving them the attention and care they deserve. Your pup will be in loving and experienced hands! I am currently only working part-time so I will have plenty of time to attend to your pups! I have a very nice free schedule. As a lifelong dog owner, I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. In clients’ homes, I maintain their routine, ensure regular feeding, walks, playtime, and provide companionship. For walks, I prioritize safety, exercise, and engagement, giving dogs the attention they need. Whether at home or on a walk, I treat every pet like my own!
About: Growing up my family always helped shelter and rehome lost pets of all ages and types, I love animals and understand the importance of comfort that a pet needs to be in a strangers care. I enjoy gig work while I take care of my own pack at home. I do work delivery jobs and enjoy a good drive to work I like for pet areas to be clean and tidy for easy access and care. I love long stimulating walks with the pups and some toy time or practicing basic obedience commands in my time with them for mental stimulation.

“This was the first time I used Rover, and I was so nervous. The second Ella set foot in my house I felt at ease (which not an easy thing to do). I love the photos from every visit. Already booking my trip with Ella.”

“Elissa was fantastic. She communicated well, and was flexible as my schedule changed. The dogs enjoyed her visits so much they didn't really even care when I got home. LOL. Will definitely use Elyssa again in the future!”

About: I've taken care of animals of almost every kind since I was a kid. I have had cats, dogs, lizards, rats, hamsters, turtles, and snakes as personal pets. I have been relied on to go above and beyond for the animals I'm taking care of, from the sudden need for a bath, showing up on short notice, and tidying the house I'm watching them at. I don't mind any task when it comes to caring for animals. I’m currently a full time online college student, so I have a very open and flexible schedule. Im free to take care of your babies weekdays and weekends! In your home, I will make sure to abide by every rule I'm given and that I'm there at any time needed. I take pride in being a punctual person, so if your pet is in need of specific timely care, you can count on me for that. I make sure to respect the space I'm in and I've been raised to leave anywhere I stay cleaner than I found it.
“We had a great experience with Kelly. She was very kind, punctual, and our two pups were immediately comfortable with her. She sent detailed updates during each drop-in visit, which gave us peace of mind. We will absolutely rebook her in the future! Thank you Kelly!!”

About: I am used to taking care of my friends' animals, cats and dogs, while their families are on vacation, and I've always been the first person they've called to do so. Since I am off for the summer, I am available pretty much any day at any hour. Most of my work is online, so I can get my work done at client's houses while watching the animals. I am not able to take animals into my home, but I am available to stay overnight at a client's home if you require me to.
“Sarah is super sweet and very reliable. My long-haired cat loved her. She is very flexible and communicates quickly and efficiently. I'll definitely use her services again.”

“Kayla is reliable and trustworthy. She is so good with the cats, plays with them, and takes such good care of them. We love receiving her sweet notes and pictures of the cats. She goes above and beyond, cleaning up messes and just genuinely cares. We will continue to hire Kayla when we go out of town.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Union Valley. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
