“For anyone who is going through different Rover profiles and trying to find the best person to take care of their beloved pets, you can stop here. Alyssa was amazing and exceeded absolutely all expectations we had. Her updates are meticulous and detailed. They gave us great comfort while we were away from home. We will definitely be reaching out to Alyssa in the future!”

“Bianca was so amazing, communicative, and attentive with our two cats. She understood both their personality’s and helped ease my concern every day she checked in on them. Not only did she feed, and make sure they had clean water, but she cleaned the litter boxes, and administered their medication daily. Bianca is a highly qualified, genuine caregiver, who I would be lucky to have watch my babies in the future!”

About: Over the years, I have house sat for numerous friends and family while they were away on vacation or business trips. I genuinely love getting to play and take care of other peoples animals. You can be at ease knowing your fur baby will be happily waiting for you to return home. I also worked at a vet clinic for about two years taking care of small and large animals. Therefore, I am very comfortable with a wide array of animals. I do work a 40 hour per week job as a landscape estimator. Monday, Wednesday, & Friday I work from 7am-4pm. Tuesday & Thursday I work 9am - 5pm. Any time outside of these hours is flexible. I currently live in an apartment with my 50lb Labrador named Gus. This is why I am not offering in house pet care haha. He is definitely spoiled, but is crated during the day while I am at work so he does not eat my furniture. I drive home every day at lunch and let him outside to use the restroom. While I am walking your dogs I would like to also walk my dog. He is super friendly with other dogs and is honestly a big goof ball. If you request for me to take care of your animals in your own home I always care for them as instructed. Being, gentle, friendly, and loving with them is obviously apart of the job, but the specifics for feeding, potty breaks, etc is dependent on the situation.
“Again, OUTSTANDING service. I’m a repeat customer, and needed a drop-in visit last minute. Quick response and accommodated us perfectly. I will not use anyone else!”

About: I grew up with and taking care of big dogs. I’ve taken care of tree litters of dogs over the years and have been dogsitting for the past two years. “Great sitter! Our two dogs and cat were very well taken care of by Wendy and I would certainly recommend her services. She brought them treats, took them on walks, and gave them plenty of attention.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a little tot. From cats to dogs, I do it all. When leaving your pet with me I will make sure to take top tier care of your baby. As I know how nerve racking it can be to leave them when you’re away. I will send updates daily to give you a peace of mind that they are in good spirits. Look forward to meeting your fur baby. <3 My day to day schedule is very flexible so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet(s). Whether you need someone full or part time. When caring for pets in your home I love written instructions, but can easily adapt if there are none. If wet outside I will let them out to go to the bathroom then dry their fur before letting them enter the home.
“My boys had so much fun with Alexis. I loved seeing their photos! This was the first time leaving my pups with anyone besides family and Alexis made me feel so at ease the whole time! ?”

About: I’m a trustworthy and caring pet lover who understands how important pets are to their families. I have experience helping care for dogs and other animals, including feeding, walking, cleaning up after them, and giving them attention and affection. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I have a flexible schedule and can provide regular potty breaks, feeding, walks, exercise, and companionship. I keep pet owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, pet-friendly environment and always follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions. I have experience caring for my own dogs and cats, which has taught me the importance of patience, attention, and understanding each pet’s unique needs. I take time to help pets feel comfortable and secure, closely supervise interactions with other animals, and provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and at home.
About: I have two fur babies myself and have been caring for them for about four years coming on five. I’ve trained them since 8 weeks old to my oldest dog who is four now and spoiled as ever. Even before my two dogs I’ve always been around animals since the age of six and have always been very curious about dogs and have loved them ever since. Pet care is a huge essential part in a pets life. Although I am a college student my classes are not all in person I have much time on my hands (more than I know what to do with). Although I love my own pets I would like to provide my services to others. I have two fur babies myself I understand the amount of stress it can bring when leaving your pet with a stranger. When visiting your pet while you are away I will make sure the visits are not just short interaction with your baby but provide play and know that they are loved while you are away, or even if you need to have them walked I'm more than glad to do what is required.
“Mary did an amazing job! While we were on our trip, several states away, our AC broke and Mary went above and beyond to look after our pets while we tried to coordinate a repair. With all that stress, knowing someone was doing such a good job looking after our pets was so appreciated.”

“We have a very grumpy senior cat. Samantha is one of the only humans on this planet he snuggles, but it wasn’t easy in the beginning. She is so patient and kind. Always shows up and goes the extra mile to care for our cat.”

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. My pets are my children so I love them fiercely. I have worked with and volunteered with animals for the last 15 years. I’ve spent time with pets in a clinic environment as a vet tech, a shelter environment as a kennel tech and dog walker, and a rescue environment as a volunteer. My volunteer time has included transporting pets, walking dogs, helping mamas who just had puppies, and loving on new puppies too! I have flexibility and freedom with my schedule. I can do drop ins, stay and visit with your pet for a bit, and do feedings or give meds if need be. Because my own dogs can be knuckleheads, I can take care of your pets in your home. It might help make their time away from you easier for them anyhow. I can take them for walks, play with them in your yard, take them for car rides, and just hang out with them. My goal would be to make your pets as happy and comfortable as possible. When they’re happy, you’re happy…and then you can enjoy your time away.

About: I've taken care of animals of almost every kind since I was a kid. I have had cats, dogs, lizards, rats, hamsters, turtles, and snakes as personal pets. I have been relied on to go above and beyond for the animals I'm taking care of, from the sudden need for a bath, showing up on short notice, and tidying the house I'm watching them at. I don't mind any task when it comes to caring for animals. I’m currently a full time online college student, so I have a very open and flexible schedule. Im free to take care of your babies weekdays and weekends! In your home, I will make sure to abide by every rule I'm given and that I'm there at any time needed. I take pride in being a punctual person, so if your pet is in need of specific timely care, you can count on me for that. I make sure to respect the space I'm in and I've been raised to leave anywhere I stay cleaner than I found it.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Caddo Mills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
