About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, guinea pigs, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). About: Animals have been in my environment since childhood and I have a lot of experience with different kinds of dogs, a little bit of training and pet sitting my parents dogs as well as those around my neighborhood. About: I've been taking care of dogs and sometimes a cat that my family had had for many years. In 2017, I got my first dog, Rowan, who's in my profile picture with me. Sadly, he passed away in March of 2025, but I was there with him every step of the way and tried to give him the best home and all the love any pet deserves. I have experience with potty training and some basic command training using voice tone, treats, and a consistent routine. When my dog got older and got sick, I had to adjust certain ways of doing things to help him be more comfortable and get him to eat and take medications, so I'm a bit experienced with those situations, as well as with a healthy young pet. I'm available every day, except for Tuesday-Thursday. I'm good with dropping by every 2-4 hours or even staying over for an extended period of time to watch and take care of a pet. If it is a dog I'm caring for, then I'll give regular bathroom breaks and, at the same time, incorporate exercise time for the dog (may give more time if needed/requested). I'll also feed and check on the pet as requested and discussed with the pet owners to ensure that the needs of the pet and what is expected of me are satisfied. If it is a cat, I'll engage outside or inside as requested, feed and clean the litter box, and even give a little time with the animal to ensure they don't feel lonely, and then either leave or stay as requested.
