About: I’ve grown up around various animals. Dogs, cats, chickens, etc! I also volunteered at my local animal shelter during high school, where I took dogs on walks and socialized cats for adoption! I’m currently a working student, but drive frequently throughout the day and have plenty of time to stop by and check on/feed/let out your babies! My husband is a fireman and I’m a medical student. Emilia was able to book on short notice , showed up early for our meet and greet and communicated incredibly well throughout the stay. I truly truly cannot recommend this amazing sweet woman enough. I was so anxious to leave them with a sitter. My cats are my whole world. And one has a history of urinary blocking and has had multiple surgeries and requires daily meds. So I was scared. But she immediately helped me feel secure in leaving them with her. She went above and beyond when she looked after my babies. She said she would take care of my boys like they were her own. And she did. My boys are picky with who they like. They just only like “good” people I think. One of my boys is extremely anxious around new people and more often than not, does not like new people at all. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
