About: hiii! I was an animal shelter volunteer for a little over 7 years! I am very comfortable around all types of animals, poop etc. doesn’t bother me either! I think a person watching your animals shouldn’t just “watch” them but spend quality time with them! It can be scary for animals being left with an unfamiliar face so making the experience as enjoyable as possible ensures that they will be more comfortable next time! i also already go to the dog park every other day and sometimes every day! we absolutely love going (me and my dog sookie)!! I am a college student but thankfully all my classes are online! I don’t typically prefer weekends but if needed then I will be there! I am free 90% of the time! For the cats I have plenty of scratch posts and things they can play with. I also have cats of my own they love making friends! For dogs, I have a crate and large backyard with a lead post! they are allowed on couches and the bed if they want to go that route! Animals will show clear signs of discomfort and my responsibility is to listen and adhere to that

I am a homeschool mom of two independent children and many fur babies including two dogs, three cats, and a few extras. I am also a youth pastor so my schedule is flexible and late nights not a problem. I have a safe fenced yard and lots of furry companions; however, I will not be sitting animals in my home as I prefer this space to stay limited to my own.

About: Hi, my name is Maddie! I have been working with dogs & cats for over 4 years now, and I have owned dogs and cats my entire life! I’m very experienced with handling all ages of dogs from puppies to seniors! I have a deep love for all animals, and I promise to take excellent care of your furry friends! I am completely free Monday-Wednesday, but I work 8am-7pm Thursday-Sunday, so I can’t do mid day drop ins/walks on those days, but I am still available for house sitting for any day of the week. We can come up with a schedule together so that your pet gets everything that they need! I can easily crate your furry friend if needed! About: I’ve been taking care of animals since COVID. I’ve pet sat and house sat for many other pet owners in the past. I’m also able to administer medications orally or via injections. I work from 8-6, but I get a two hour lunch. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
