About: I have cared for two dogs for 18 years of my life - a Jack Russel named Ralph and a Collie cross Lab named Martha. When I was 16, obtained a Level 3 qualification in Animal Management at Shuttleworth College. Here, I acquired husbandry skills for a wide range of animals such as reptiles and exotics to goats and wallabies. I graduated from the University of Lincoln this year with a first class with honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I cared for and trained several dogs through the university. I further worked full time at a Doggy Day Care for 4 months - walking all breeds and sizes!! Currently, I am studying MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln, with hopes of becoming an accredited clinical animal behaviourist. I am currently completing this Masters by attending lectures every Monday and Tuesday. I am looking to work between Wednesdays and Fridays as this best fits my study schedule. Within an owner’s home, I will follow all instructions provided, keeping their pets in a safe environment at all times and only using positive reinforcement techniques.

“I have an anxious 12 year old Yorkie that takes a while to warm up to new people and places. She also gets seizures occasionally. Katherine welcomed her with open arms and took such good care of her, taking her on daily walks, letting her sleep on the beds and couches, making sure she had her medication and giving her space and cuddles when needed. She sent me regular updates about Hayley so I had peace of mind that she was settling in and enjoying her time with her temporary new family. When it was time to fetch her she looked sad to leave! Would recommend Katherine to anyone who wants their doggy to be treated like part of the family and not have to worry about a thing”

“Lydia was our pup’s first ever sitter and she couldn’t have been lovelier. She has a perfect house and garden to accommodate dogs - she even has a special drawer full of toys and treats! She was very communicative before our booking, offering to have us come to see her house beforehand and she sent us photos as well. She kept us well informed of how the stay was going and what they were up to. She took our dog on a very long walk and even gave him a bath afterwards. Honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I’d wholeheartedly recommend Lydia. Our dog can’t wait to go back!”

About: Update…. I now devote all my spare time to loving and caring for other animals, from dogs and cats to guinea pigs and rabbits. Anything you might need looking after please get in touch, prices can be changed for smaller pets too. I have a cockapoo who is now 4 years old and recently lost a schnauzer who was 13. I care for my dog and all my cats going for short walks to long adventures. All dogs are unique and require different care and if you need someone to pop in when you’re out for long hours or overnight. Just get in touch. I can walk them or just provide company. I work part time so I have a lot of spare time on my hands and over the last 2 months I have been working for a cat sitting service. I absolutely love caring for other people’s pets. Feeding, playing and ensuring they are not alone for long periods of time. I care for pets in their own homes/enviroments. It eases any unnecessary stress to them. I pop in during the day once or twice length of time can vary.
