“Hayley (and her lovely little dog Lexi) were brilliant with my dog Toby while I was away for the long weekend. Hayley was quick to communicate throughout and is clearly very experienced with dogs. She offered both a meet and greet and a short trial visit, which really helped me feel confident that Toby would be happy and settled with her. Hayley was warm and welcoming, and her home was clean, calm, and had a dog-friendly setup. The daily updates, photos, and videos were lovely to receive and reassured me that Toby was having a great time. He seemed to really enjoy Lexi’s company and bonded well with her - it was so nice for him to have a little playmate during his stay! Hayley was also flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which made everything much easier. When I picked Toby up, he was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. About: I've grown up with dogs and been around dogs for almost all of my life. Until recently owned a 12 year old cocker spaniel called Tigger. I'm a keen Cani Cross Runner and Tigger was a great running dog, he absolute loved it, so I'm trying to help more dogs be active. A healthy active dog is a dog that will have a longer healthy life and a lot of dogs don't get the exercise they need. I'd love to help change that. 😊 I'm available almost all the time when I'm not travelling and happy to work around your schedule with enough notice. Let's have a chat about your needs. If you would like me to try running with your dog the following apllies: I would need to take your dog out for a walk or two first to learn about their habits and needs. Then if they've not tried Cani Cross before we would need to take it slowly as there's a lot to learn for both me and your dog about how we run together. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about this as well, so do let me know and if you'd like to come along as well that's even better!

Whether your cat is playful, shy, cuddly, or independent, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos for peace of mind!

“At short notice, I was able to book Ping Yan to look after our dog three times over half term for a full day. She was very professional, friendly and caring and I felt 100% confidence in her. She kept contact throughout the day sending videos and information about how our dog was doing, which was great. On the first day, we were stuck in London and got back much later than we had initially anticipated. Ping Yan was very understanding and kept telling us not to worry as we waited on delayed trains to get back to Cambridge. She made us feel very reassured which really helped. I can’t imagine that anyone would be anything but overjoyed at the way Ping looks after dogs so you have nothing to worry about with her. She was also very punctual whenever I texted her to say that we’d be downstairs in a few minutes to meet her.”

“John was fantastic looking after our two boys! He took great care of them, it was clear they were happy, relaxed, and well looked after. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We came home to two very content dogs, and we wouldn't hesitate to book John again. Highly recommend!😃”

“Emily was so great with our pup. Lots of updates and fully embraced his little quirks. He seemed to have a great time and came home very relaxed and tired! Thank you so much. Will definitely use Emily again and happy to recommend her to anyone! X”

“Sandra had Ria for a long day while I was working in London and was absolutely fantastic - professional, well organised, super communication. Ria loved her stay so much she didn't want to leave when I collected her. I felt at all times that Ria was in safe hands and being well looked after and I wouldn't hesitate to use Sandra's services again or recommend her to anyone else.”

“I recently sent my lovely Samoyed to Harper and Zhong for daycare. From the time BaoBao arrived at their home, they frequently updated me with photos and videos. They were very very kind and patient with BaoBao. BaoBao had diarrhea that day, and after I asked for their advice, they still offered to take care of my dog for a day. They patiently cleaned her hair every time she had loose bowels and kept updating me on my dog. BaoBao looked so happy when I picked her up, they had a very nice day together! A huge thank to them and will definitely send my dog to them for daycare again soon!☺️☺️”

“Chubby always seems excited to go to Damarys, she keeps me updated and seems very knowledgable and aware of dog behaviour which is great! He’s always knackered when he comes back to us too so he must have lots of fun!”

About: I'm an experienced pet owner and sitter with a love for all animals. I have my own 8 year old rescue dog, Kika, who has various behavioural and medical issues which has given me a lot of experience in managing these conditions. Before adopting Kika I spent many years pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy and Trusted Housesitters - looking after dogs of various ages and sizes, cats, and even chickens. I grew up with cats so have experience looking after all ages from young kittens through to senior and blind. In the week I work mostly from home, so for house sitting I just need somewhere to work from my laptop. My work is quite flexible, so I have plenty of time for lots of fussing and a couple of walks during the day. Depending on your pets routine, I often start the day with a longer walk before breakfast, and then a number of toilet breaks throughout the day with a short walk at lunch time. I am sometimes also able to take dogs for boarding, but my own rescue dog would need to meet them and be comfortable with them first. For housesitting I will respect your usual routine for minimal disruption to your pet, feeding and giving any medication at times they are used to, and accommodate their usual walks, garden access, sleeping arrangement etc.
“This was our first time using Rover and we were lucky enough to come across Fern and Dougie, her GoldenDoodle. Honey, our Cockerpoo, had a great time, and it was super seeing the pictures of their adventures. We have no hesitation in recommending Fern, and hope to book Honey in for boarding later in the year.”

About: I have been caring for pets for 20+ years, including my own dog and looking after neighbours' and friends' dogs. I have experience with various breeds such as Chow Chows, Labradors, Jack Russell Terriers, Border Terriers, Cocker Spaniels, Dachshunds, English Bulldogs, Shih Tzu mixes, and Romanian rescues. I have trained my own puppy and am comfortable administering medication. I can handle multiple pets and have dealt with challenging behaviours, including helping my reactive rescue dog overcome her fears. While I don't have specific experience with special needs pets, my adaptability as a teacher allows me to provide excellent care. I can provide references from previous pet owners I have cared for. I have recently returned to work as a full-time teacher at a school in Girton. Therefore, I will not be at home during the day. However, I am still offering sitting services in the evenings and on weekends. Additionally, if you are comfortable with it, I am happy to have your pet stay at my house during the day. During the school holidays I will be able to stay at yours or have your pet at mine, where I will be at home during the day. During term time, you live somewhere with easy access to Girton, I am happy to house sit then too. I work full time, leaving for work at 7am but I do have a bit of time in the mornings. I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and medication, maintaining their routine as closely as possible. I provide plenty of love, attention, and playtime to keep the pets happy and engaged. Additionally, I maintain open communication with the pet owner, providing regular updates and photos to give them peace of mind. We have a wonderful large garden which is secure as well as plenty of fantastic walking routes from our front door!

About: I have always had dogs in the family growing up. When I was a toddler and small child, my family had Mutley, a rescue spaniel, who was also known as Houdini! Following his passing, we had a small terrier, Alfie, who lived until he was 18! Then, at the turn of 2020, I rescued two Greek street dogs, Buddy and Bea, with my sister - they’re now 5 years old. Buddy and Bea often spend time with my parents who have vowed they don’t want another dog.. but love Buds & Bea! We had Alfie from a puppy and I was involved with his training with my father. Buddy and Bea were about 6 months old when they made their way to the UK. With my sister, I trained them at home in the garden - this was both toilet training and tricks! I work full time but predominantly from home, going into the office once or twice a week depending on what I have on. This means I have lots of time at home with the dogs and can take them out morning, lunch and noon. Generally, I play netball on a Saturday and Sunday but this only requires me to be out of the house for a few hours. So, those who have an animal staying with us, they must be ok being left alone for a couple of hours at a time. I have a totally enclosed and fenced garden with no escape route! This was essential as Bea often likes to find a way out! Whilst looking after your fur baby, I’d have Buddy and Bea stay with my parents so that your pet has my sole attention and focus. We have space to bring a crate if that’s preferred and we can discuss any sleeping arrangements which work for your little one.

Steven provided a very warm and friendly atmosphere, his pet Lola was also friendly, Rosie and Lola became friends soon. I highly recommend Steven’s service for others who need calm, friendly, happy environment for pets. Steven was regularly sending pictures, videos, messages about our dog activity. When we returned Rosie was so calm and happy, did not show any shock or mental impact that she spent days away from us. She was just like she was on a holiday, full of energy at home immediately. Thanks for Steven’s exceptional support.”

“Terry was fantastic - took great care to make sure Ted had a good week with him, including asking questions beforehand about Ted’s likes & dislikes, and taking him on lots of great walks. Ted bonded really well with Terry, and it was good to know he was being so well cared for while I was away.”

“I’m sure if our dog Miro could talk he’d say how much he enjoyed another lovely stay with Linda and Craig. He comes back really relaxed and I’d recommend Linda always as she’s so tuned into the needs of Miro.”

“Liz was brilliant. Fizzy clearly had a lovely day, and Liz sent me regular updates and pictures during the day so I could see what fun she was having! V easy to communicate with beforehand too - would certainly recommend.”

“I left my 7 month old puppy Kobbie with Beatriz for 2 nights and he had the best time, he especially loved playing with her other dog. Beatriz kept me updated with photos and updates on how Kobbie was getting on while we were away which was great. Kobbie came home really happy and tired from all the fun he had while he was away. Would highly recommend Beatriz and would definitely use her again”

“Jane is great! She saved my trip and very kindly agreed to look after my two dogs last minute after someone else canceled. Jane's place is perfect for short and long term dog sitting - there is a dedicated place for them in the house and plenty of space in the garden to run around. Her retriever is gorgeous and super friendly. Jane sent me messages every morning and video updates during the day. When we came to pick them up, they didn't want to leave!😊”

“Sol was brilliant. I booked very last minute for a 7 night stay, and she was so welcoming and kind. My dog can be quite anxious in new places, but Sol handled it patiently and kept me updated throughout. He seemed so relaxed and happy when I picked him up, and it was clear he’d been well cared for. I thank you so so much! We were at ease leaving him with her :)”
