About: Hello, My name is Brandon and I've loved animals my entire life. I was raised with dogs and since graduating university I've had pets. My wife and I have a 15 year old mutt who I rescued 14 years ago and an 8 year old cat we found hit in the street 7 years ago. I have experience with large dogs, as our late Newfoundland was 150 pounds. And I am very experienced with older pets and understand the importance of patience. Our old Newfie lived to be 12 years old, and our other boy is nearing 15 years old. So, plenty of patience with older friends. Our home features a lovely, fenced-in garden for your family member, a spacious house, and I am home far more often than I am away, meaning your pet isn't simply locked up and forgotten. They are with our family constantly. I'm a full-time stay at home father as I work on a master's degree online. So I'm home extensively affording me plenty of time to be present with your loved ones at our home. I will treat your family the same as I treat mine, with ample love and respect. You can rest assured knowing your furry friend will be loved and cared for attentively.

About: I’m Tash and I’ve always had a love for dogs. I have grown up with various breeds from rescue backgrounds and have a lot of experience in caring for and walking friends and families dogs outside of the Rover platform. After moving out of my family home, I am looking to continue offering dog walking and drop in visits through the Rover platform. I’m an active person who loves being outdoors, so long walks are my speciality! I understand the importance of maintaining a dog’s routine, so you can trust that your pet will be in good hands while you’re away. I am a hybrid worker and spend 2 out of 5 working days working from home. When I am at home I am available for morning walks, lunch time walks and evening walks. I am also available for weekend walks. We have a fenced terrace garden without grass. However, just outside of the back gate we have plenty of grassy areas and close by to many lovely walks in fields.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my family and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments and have experience looking after reactive dogs, taking a calm, patient, and safety-focused approach at all times. I understand how important routine, clear communication, and trust are, and I always aim to make pets feel secure, understood, and well cared for. I work from home and am self-employed, which means I have good flexibility during weekdays and can give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m mainly available Monday to Friday, but I can also do weekends with a bit of advance notice. I always try to be clear and communicative about availability so owners can plan with confidence. I live alone in the centre of town, which means pets are never left unsupervised and always have my full attention. My home is calm, non-smoking, and well suited to visiting animals. I also have a small, unfenced garden for fresh air and quick breaks, as well as lots of nearby options for both short and longer walks. I’m always present when caring for pets and take safety, comfort, and trust very seriously. I can also provide a crate if necessary but happy to have pets on the sofa/bed with me if that’s what they are used to!

About: fully Insured Dog walker/Sitter. Here to provide the love and attention your lovely pups need to give you peace of mind whilst you are away. Any special dietary or behavioural needs can be accommodated please just let me know when making a booking :) I walk Zekke every morning and in the afternoon. Morning walks are usually very local where your angel can run and meet all of Zekke’s friends who are all extremely friendly. Afternoon Walks can vary it can either be more forrest/wooded walk or i do enjoy walking up Old Serum. Dinner is usually around 5-6pm with potentially a third walk after the evening in Summer months. Any other mental and physical stimulation will be provided throughout the day with play sessions in the garden with Zekke. I want your fur baby to feel as comfortable and as loved as if they were still at home please give me any information that would make there stay more enjoyable, i know they all have there own little quirks that make them all very unique. I have a fenced garden where they can play with Zekke.

About: Doctor who just moved to Salisbury, and due to my work schedule I can’t currently get my own dog. I have lived most of my life with one or more dogs at home and my family currently has four of them. For me, home is where the dog is. During university, my flatmate and I fostered 9 different dogs spread out over 2 years. The dogs were awaiting their flights to their forever homes, travelling from Cyprus to the UK. The periods of fostering ranged from 2 weeks to 3 months. This has taught me to take care of anxious dogs who had never had homes before or had been poorly treated by their owners. I also regularly dog sit my friend's 4 year old female labrador, as well as my family dogs. As I am a junior doctor, my availability will be very dependent on my rota schedule, however I am happy to discuss and work around it whenever possible. Many walks throughout the day, some exercise in the park and even some training if asked. Thanks to my childhood and the fostering experience I have carried out during university, I am able to easily adapt to different characters and breeds easily as well as adapting to your dog's specific needs.

About: I have owned and been around puppies, adult dogs and cats for over 15 years. I have experience raising puppies and dogs over 1 year old, and have spent many hours looking after my MIL and friends’ cats. I first used Rover as a customer to find help for my whippet puppy, and would now like to share the love and provide the care that I once received. I work part time in healthcare, and my hours are incredible flexible, allowing for bespoke service. I will always try and help out where I can. I live in a sizeable end terraced house with plenty of fields and walking routes nearby. My garden is private and fenced, allowing for a safe and secure environment.

About: I have had dogs all my life and grown up with them in the home. I currently work too often to have one of my own so would like to offer my time to look after your pets at the weekend if you need! My parents have 2 sausage dogs I regularly look after, I have experience with newborn puppies from their litters and some training. If you need someone to sit and cuddle your dog whilst you’re out for the night or to walk them on the weekends whilst you’re away then please consider me. I currently work from home on Fridays and am often available Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately I work Monday-Thursday full time which is why I don’t have a dog of my own yet. I have a medium sized garden with a lawn and fencing and live near a good country park for walks. I know people with dogs I can walk in a group if your dog requires socialising. I don’t have any pets or children so if your dog requires more attention or a calm environment I can offer that.

About: I love all animals really but especially cats, as I grew up around them - we had 2 Burmese cats, one of which lived to be 17yo. Our current cat, Bolly, emigrated with us from the U.K. to Australia and back again! I have also had a hamster and fish. As a teenager, and as an adult, I've often helped friends and neighbours out when they're away by looking after their pets - cats usually but I have also looked after dogs, Guinea pigs, chickens, birds, fish and rabbits too. 

I'm calm and patient - I very much let them come to me when they're ready to. I make sure your pet has been given attention and affection (if they want some), as well as fed, watered, and had litter cleaned etc. I'm happy to play and pet them, or just sit and be around for a while, depending on what they like. I send updates and pictures daily so you can relax and enjoy your time away. 
I'm a fan of Jackson Galaxy and his work on cat behaviour, which has helped me to gain a better understand of cats, and I use a lot of his techniques with Bolly, as well as the cats I look after. This has meant I've been able to befriend many nervous, shy cats using those skills. 

I've also got some experience with raw food as I've transitioned Bolly to a raw food diet so I'm happy to handle raw meat if needed. 
 Whilst in Australia, pet sitting was my paid work and I’m keen to do that again here as I loved meeting so many different pets, and being able to have a little time away from home. I’m a stay at home parent to a 5yo and that means I’m flexible with my hours and availability. Often I am available before my husband goes to work, and then again from 5pm when he’s finished. On days he’s working from home, I can also do visits during the day. If your pet is ok with kids, my son loves to help too and that means I can come anytime. Weekends are easy as my husband isn’t n working. For house visits, I usually greet your pet first by letting them come to me, or checking any known hiding spots. Once I’ve said hello, I usually play with them, then feed them, and then I clean any litter trays whilst they eat. After that, I often sit on the floor or chair and hang out or play depending on their needs. I’m also happy to check post, water plants and put bins out. For pet walks, I greet them first, then get them ready with their leash and collect doggy bags for any dog poo. After the walk, I’ll check on your pet, give any treats/food/water as required before I leave.

About: Having had a ginormous golden retriever for 8 years (he sadly passed away last year) with plenty of personality and spirit getting him into all sorts of situations, I have plenty of experience. I am calm and loving and can think of no better way to spend my day than with a dog! I have previously dog walked and dog sat for friends and family for dogs of all sizes. I am an aspiring Dog Handler in the Police force. I always like to get out at least a couple of times a day for a walk or a run and miss taking my retriever with me for these excursions. So it would not impact my usual routine in any way other than that I would be blessed with the company of a dog! Despite being a second floor flat, we have an outdoor area that the dog can be taken. We live close to many green spaces and in a cul de sac which is very quiet off a residential road. I am a Police Officer so my shifts do vary, however this means I can offer short-term flexibility and availability at different periods of the week.

About: I’ve been bought up around big to small dogs so understand the different needs of sizes and breeds from big bullmastiff to little terriers. I have a springer spaniel of my own who requires a lot of attention, mental stimulation and muddy walks. I also have worked with other animals including horses, and cows (calf rearing) so am definitely not shy of weather, mud or hard work and give good attention to detail when caring for animals. I’m currently working part time and am available Friday to Tuesday to walk, board and visit your pets with plenty of love when you’re not able too I have a big garden around an acre big which is secured and fenced for your pets to run and sniff around with my spaniel to keep them company or to be kept separate from your own. Big area inside my house for your dogs to get cosy in or a separate room/crate if that’s what they prefer.

About: We are a semi retired British couple who love animals and have been full time pet/house sitters since May 2022. We are vegetarian, non smoking, and enjoy yoga, walking and travel. Together we have run a holiday letting business in SW Wales for over 15 years as well as courses for people suffering with Chronic Fatigue/M.E and stress related conditions. All of our therapy and holiday property lettings work has moved online now so we can work remotely from anywhere. This has allowed us the freedom to be full time house/pet sitters and we are loving it! We stay at pet owners homes and very rarely leave pets alone - particularly dogs. About: I'm fully insured and DBS checked. I'm a real animal lover and have taken care of a variety of pets since I was a child. I grew up with cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs and since then I have owned fish, chickens and another dog, so I have a lot of experience with various animals. I have experience training a dog, and also in giving medicine. I'm currently working full time during the week, so I have lots of time during the weekends and evenings to look after your beloved pets. I have a dog of my own but he isn't a big fan of long walks, which is such a shame as I am! So if you have a dog needing a good long walk, I'd love to take them! But if your dog needs just a gentle walk with a lot of sniffing opportunities, I am very practiced at this. I am very professional and trustworthy and will treat your home and pets with respect and care. I will follow any rules you have for your pets whilst I am inside your home and/or out walking them. I have a DBS check and I'm fully insured.
