“Thank you so much for looking after our dogs, kept us updated with photos which was so lovely to see how happy & safe they were with such lovely people. (maybe too happy as scooby stole the last bit of your dinner 🤦🏻♀️) they even took them on a walk as well which is much appreciated. Can’t thank enough🐾”

“Absolutely brilliant carer! Matthew is exactly what you are looking for in someone to watch your furry loved one. Pics and videos every day, walked my boy, played with him, and followed all the instructions I left. I have already rebooked Matthew for my next trip out of town!”

“Stephen and Nicky are really friendly and communicative. They made Gizmo very welcome and he was well looked after, had lots of cuddles and walks. I would happily leave Gizmo with them again :)”

“can’t thank enough for looking after my two dogs, they had a great holiday, I was kept updated the whole time with plenty of photos so always reassured they were happy, safe & having fun with your dog Zekke. Even took them out for walks too which is very much appreciated. thank you again 🐾😊”

“Raffles had a great time with Judson - she stayed for two nights and came back very calm and happy. Judson was great at communicating and providing updates. I would definitely be happy for my dog to stay with him again!”

“From the moment of requesting a stay to the moment of collection Kira has been nothing but amazing. We met prior to the stay and it turned into an hours chit chat, throughout the stay I received videos and photos and lots of updates. I know Bernard had an absolutely amazing time! Kira is nothing but amazing, I recommend her a thousand times over!”

“Finn really enjoyed his stay with Alexis, Jerrad their children and Coco - they made us all feel at ease. Finn enjoyed being able to run around in their big garden and really enjoyed going for a run/walks. He had obviously had a good time from the photos and text Alexis sent us. We would defiantly leave Finn with them again.”

“She looked after Rocky amazingly! I kept getting updates throughout the day and had a peace of mind that my doggy was in good hands for when I went away. Can’t recommend enough!”

About: Looked after family pets for 19 years (we've had four cats and one dog!). Walked neighbours dogs, and looked after friend's cats whilst they are away. I am available to cat and dog sit on weekends, as well as take dogs out for short or long walks and even runs if your dog is active! At home, I have a small patio but plenty of parks less than a five-minute walk away. I have a usual running route through fields of 4-5km from my house.
“I cannot thank this lady enough, helped me out last minute I would recommend her service 100%, my puppy molly had an overnight stay, I was sent photos and video which was of great comfort to me as my puppy is 14weeks old and first time I had left her she was well looked after and I will definitely be using her services again”

“Kate and her partner looked after my dog, Charlie, for a full week, and I couldn’t have asked for better care. They kept me updated throughout with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. During the heatwave, they made sure Charlie stayed cool and comfortable and took him for early morning walks before it got too hot, which I really appreciated. They listened to everything I asked and followed all of my requests perfectly. They also picked Charlie up and dropped him back home, making everything so easy. On top of all that, their price was very reasonable and great value for the level of care Charlie received. They are both such lovely, caring people, and it was clear Charlie was very well looked after and happy with them. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kate again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, genuinely caring, and great value. Thank you both so much! Charlie cant wait to come back 🐾”

“I felt totally at ease leaving Milo with Clem. She sent some lovely photos of him while I was away which was so sweet. She took perfect care of him and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Thanks Clem - I think Milo’s missing you though ??”

About: I am a dedicated and experienced cat sitter with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for cats of all ages, from newborn kittens to senior and elderly cats with complex needs. My lifelong passion for feline care means I understand not only the practical aspects of looking after cats, but also their unique personalities, behaviours, and emotional needs. Throughout the years, I have provided attentive, compassionate care tailored to each cat. I have experience with feeding routines, administering medication, maintaining litter hygiene, and ensuring a safe, calm environment. I am particularly confident in caring for kittens who require extra monitoring and socialisation, as well as older cats who may need patience, gentle handling, and support with age-related conditions. I pride myself on building trust quickly with cats, including those who are shy or anxious, by respecting their space and letting them feel comfortable in their own time. I am reliable, observant, and committed to maintaining the routines that help cats feel secure while their owners are away. Whether it’s providing playtime and enrichment for energetic cats or quiet companionship for older ones, I ensure every cat receives personalised care, attention, and affection. My goal is always to give owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

“Thank you Kerry. We’ve had a traumatic week as we had to say goodbye to our beloved boy cat Simba on Monday, Tiger Lily’s constant companion for nearly 14 years 🥺 She’s been very needy all week so I was concerned about leaving her so soon after losing her brother. I talked to Kerry at length before her visit & we decided to still go ahead. I needn’t have worried, Kerry took such good care of Tiggy - doing all her favourite things for her. Tiggy can definitely be a bit “spicy” with people she doesn’t know but Kerry is so calmly confident with her that she quickly has become affectionate with her. I would highly recommend Kerry as she is entirely reliable & dependable as well as a total cat lover. You just know your pets are in safe hands with her.”

“Charlotte was absolutely perfect! She took such great care of my Luna and went above and beyond when I asked her for extra days very last minute! I could not recommend Charlotte enough to take care of your pets!”

“We're so relieved to have found Csilla. We've struggled to find a cat-sitter that was willing to go beyond their practical needs and actually spend time giving our cats the attention they're used to. Csilla spent the full hour we asked for each day, and now we're back they're acting as if we never left.”

About: I've had four family cats since I was four years old. I love going back to see, feed, and cuddle them but unfortunately don't have a cat of my own now that I live elsewhere. Experience feeding and sitting with friend's cats whilst they are away.

“Left my 2 young BSH cats home alone for 3 days, confident in having met Ruth twice they would be in safe hands. Both looked so well looked after, brushed daily by the looks of it and every visit Ruth did, we were updated with some stunning pictures and brilliant photos. Happy cats = happy owners! Would highly recommend.”

“Alexis was the perfect pet sitter for my little zoo. So efficient and caring. I really appreciated her being available at short notice and how she communicated throughout. Will definitely hire her again.”

“Jayme was absolutely fantastic with Maverick, our 16 week old puppy. He loved his time with her, and her calming presence helped him settle, which he can find hard to do without his humans present. She took the time to find out what he needed in the time I was out, and we would recommend Jayme to anyone needing pet sitting. Thank you so much for making me feel reassured and giving Mav such a lovely afternoon!”

“Absolutely outstanding daycare from Matthew and Ximena. They were perfect hosts for my boy and he couldn’t have wanted anything better in such a homely environment. All his needs catered for and I felt at ease from day 1 with regular updates and photos of the days activities. Charlie met their dog Teddy today who is a gorgeous dog and was a great role model for Charlie to learn from. I would definitely recommend Matthew and have already rebooked some more days in the new year. First class 🥇🐕🐾”

“Jaffa loves her visits with Alexis and always comes home tired from all her fun. Coco has been very patient with our puppy and teaching her how to play nicely with other dogs. Alexis keeps us well informed throughout the day of what Jaffa has been up to with pictures and what their walks looks like. She also listens to all our routines and asks and is very flexible with timings due to work commitments. We will 100% be using Alexis in future, thanks so much for your help so far :)”

“Hetty was absolutely fine with Stephen. He seemed very capable and used to looking after a number of dogs. Having three to walk today. We had only left our dog Hetty with one other person before. I would happily leave our little cocker spaniel with him again. Thanks Stephen.”

“Lucho loved his day with Jayme and her two beaut daxies! She allowed my partner in her home to check out the area where we’d drop off our baby for the day, and allowed him to settle with her and the doggos. She was kind enough to feed him his brekkie too! She kept me updated with pics and allowed Lucho to play so much with her dogs - he was so exhausted when he was home! A long night’s sleep confirmed how much he enjoyed himself. Will stay in touch with Jayme, she was fab!”

“I’m not sure my dog wanted to come home! Blossom had a smashing time with Laura and her dog. She was exhausted when I took her home and has definitely made new friends. Laura stayed in touch during the day and sent me a video of Blossom doing zoomies! I’d definitely recommend. Thank you Laura.”

“Vanessa was amazing with our dog. She made him feel comfortable and safe while we were out in London for the evening.she was very kind and flexible with our times ( I underestimated the taxi travel time in London😅) . It makes it so much easier to relax and enjoy our night when we know our baby is safe and happy. Very highly recommend if you are in London and need a dog sitter. She is the BEST! I wish she lived closer to us! ”

“We recently met Aston, and had a meet and greet and separate trial day for our dog. We were really pleased that it was a success. Aston is in a lovely rural location with lots of enclosed, secure space for dogs to explore and play in. He’s very knowledgeable about dogs and handling, as he’s got three dogs of his own! Our dog is very sociable, so got on really well with his ‘pack’ and enjoyed time spent there. We will be continuing to use Astons services and would recommend him to others looking for a ‘home from home’ professional service and environment….”

About: My wife (Emma) and I love animals. We both grew up in homes with rescue dogs and other pets. We now have our own dog, Joni, who we rescued. We have learnt so much on her recovery journey back into being a "normal" dog - she's a very loving, quirky, gentle soul! We both work freelance and can be flexible with working patterns, so there is usually one of us around at home to look after your dog. I primarily work from home and my wife also sometimes works from home, so we can accommodate 2 walks a day, as well as play and cuddle breaks. We like to spend our evenings watching movies, cuddled up with Joni on the sofa. At the weekends and during time off work, we love going on long walks and generally being out in nature, come rain or shine. We are lucky to have lots of great walks near us and a couple of secure fields where we take Joni for a good run around. Dogs are welcomed as a part of our family when they come to stay. We have an enclosed garden and a peaceful loving home. We have one greyhound cross, Joni, who is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play - she is always very excited to have new friends over to stay. Joni is fully vaccinated, including kennel cough. We only take pets from one owner at a time to ensure everyone gets along and so we can focus our love and attention on your dog(s) and ours.
“Calypso had an amazing day with Louise and Cho. We had lots of pics and vids of her playing ball and swimming. At pick up time Louise talked us through her day. As she is still young, it's good to know how she gets on in a new environment. Booked in again for August. Calypso can't wait 😉”

“Lorrin is very friendly and responsive - we had to change our timings slightly and she was relaxed and accommodating! She has a lovely home and garden and we know that our pup Luna was cared for during the time she spent with Lorrin :)”

About: Hello, My name is Brandon and I've loved animals my entire life. I was raised with dogs and since graduating university I've had pets. My wife and I have a 15 year old mutt who I rescued 14 years ago and an 8 year old cat we found hit in the street 7 years ago. I have experience with large dogs, as our late Newfoundland was 150 pounds. And I am very experienced with older pets and understand the importance of patience. Our old Newfie lived to be 12 years old, and our other boy is nearing 15 years old. So, plenty of patience with older friends. Our home features a lovely, fenced-in garden for your family member, a spacious house, and I am home far more often than I am away, meaning your pet isn't simply locked up and forgotten. They are with our family constantly. I'm a full-time stay at home father as I work on a master's degree online. So I'm home extensively affording me plenty of time to be present with your loved ones at our home. I will treat your family the same as I treat mine, with ample love and respect. You can rest assured knowing your furry friend will be loved and cared for attentively.

I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments and have experience looking after reactive dogs, taking a calm, patient, and safety-focused approach at all times. I’m mainly available Monday to Friday, but I can also do weekends with a bit of advance notice. I always try to be clear and communicative about availability so owners can plan with confidence. I live alone in the centre of town, which means pets are never left unsupervised and always have my full attention. My home is calm, non-smoking, and well suited to visiting animals. I also have a small, unfenced garden for fresh air and quick breaks, as well as lots of nearby options for both short and longer walks. I’m always present when caring for pets and take safety, comfort, and trust very seriously. I can also provide a crate if necessary but happy to have pets on the sofa/bed with me if that’s what they are used to!

My parents have 2 sausage dogs I regularly look after, I have experience with newborn puppies from their litters and some training. If you need someone to sit and cuddle your dog whilst you’re out for the night or to walk them on the weekends whilst you’re away then please consider me. I currently work from home on Fridays and am often available Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately I work Monday-Thursday full time which is why I don’t have a dog of my own yet. I have a medium sized garden with a lawn and fencing and live near a good country park for walks. I know people with dogs I can walk in a group if your dog requires socialising. I don’t have any pets or children so if your dog requires more attention or a calm environment I can offer that.
“Rebecca is great - super communicative with everything, puts up with an oversized stubborn teenage dog and is really caring. Bjorn is always super happy after his weekly walk with Rebecca!”

About: I’m Tash and I’ve always had a love for dogs. I have grown up with various breeds from rescue backgrounds and have a lot of experience in caring for and walking friends and families dogs outside of the Rover platform. After moving out of my family home, I am looking to continue offering dog walking and drop in visits through the Rover platform. I’m an active person who loves being outdoors, so long walks are my speciality! I understand the importance of maintaining a dog’s routine, so you can trust that your pet will be in good hands while you’re away. I am a hybrid worker and spend 2 out of 5 working days working from home. When I am at home I am available for morning walks, lunch time walks and evening walks. I am also available for weekend walks. We have a fenced terrace garden without grass. However, just outside of the back gate we have plenty of grassy areas and close by to many lovely walks in fields.

I have a fenced garden where they can play with Zekke.

About: Doctor who just moved to Salisbury, and due to my work schedule I can’t currently get my own dog. I have lived most of my life with one or more dogs at home and my family currently has four of them. For me, home is where the dog is. During university, my flatmate and I fostered 9 different dogs spread out over 2 years. The dogs were awaiting their flights to their forever homes, travelling from Cyprus to the UK. The periods of fostering ranged from 2 weeks to 3 months. This has taught me to take care of anxious dogs who had never had homes before or had been poorly treated by their owners. I also regularly dog sit my friend's 4 year old female labrador, as well as my family dogs. As I am a junior doctor, my availability will be very dependent on my rota schedule, however I am happy to discuss and work around it whenever possible. Many walks throughout the day, some exercise in the park and even some training if asked. Thanks to my childhood and the fostering experience I have carried out during university, I am able to easily adapt to different characters and breeds easily as well as adapting to your dog's specific needs.
“Laura was great with George. He isn't the easiest dog to walk because he is reactive to lots of things. Laura was calm and very positive about their time together. He had a great walk and crashed out for the rest of the evening.”

“We are so pleased to have found Megan! She has been so good with our 10 month old puppy, who is getting used to new people. Megan isn’t phased by my energetic dog and is so calming with her. Having not used Rover before, Megan has allayed all our fears of trying this service and I have now re-booked Megan because she is so reliable and consistent for our dog.”

About: I have owned and been around puppies, adult dogs and cats for over 15 years. I have experience raising puppies and dogs over 1 year old, and have spent many hours looking after my MIL and friends’ cats. I first used Rover as a customer to find help for my whippet puppy, and would now like to share the love and provide the care that I once received. I work part time in healthcare, and my hours are incredible flexible, allowing for bespoke service. I will always try and help out where I can. I live in a sizeable end terraced house with plenty of fields and walking routes nearby. My garden is private and fenced, allowing for a safe and secure environment.
About: With over 12 years of experience in pet sitting, I’ve had the privilege of caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. My passion for animals started early, and it’s only grown with each family and pet I’ve had the honor to support. I understand that leaving your pet behind can be stressful, which is why I prioritize creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for your furry friend. In addition to my pet sitting experience, I’m trained in dog first aid. This knowledge allows me to confidently handle minor injuries, spot signs of illness, and provide immediate care if needed. Your dog’s health and safety are always my top priority, and you can rest easy knowing they’re in capable hands. From playful pups to senior dogs with special needs, I tailor my care to fit your dog’s individual personality and requirements. Whether it’s a long walk, medication administration, or just some extra cuddle time, I’m here to ensure your pet feels happy and well-loved while you’re away. I have dedicated myself full-time to pet care, making it my life’s work to ensure every pet I look after receives the best possible care and attention. As a full-time pet sitter, I am always available to meet the needs of pets and their owners, offering flexible scheduling and personalized care. My commitment means I am not just a sitter but a reliable companion for your pets, always attentive to their needs—whether it’s a morning walk, meal times, or simply being there for comfort and companionship. Being fully immersed in pet care allows me to build strong, trusting relationships with the pets I care for, as well as their families. I treat every pet as if they were my own, focusing on providing a nurturing and stress-free experience, no matter how long or short the stay. My dedication goes beyond basic pet sitting; it’s about understanding each animal’s unique personality, needs, and routines, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and secure at all times. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a warm, safe, and pet-friendly environment where they can relax and enjoy their time, just like they would at home. My home is designed with pets in mind, offering plenty of space to explore, play, and rest. Whether it’s a cozy corner for a nap or a backyard for playtime, I ensure pets have access to everything they need to feel comfortable. I maintain a routine that mirrors their home environment as closely as possible, from meal times to daily walks and play sessions. This helps reduce stress and anxiety, especially for pets that may be nervous in new surroundings. I also provide one-on-one attention, ensuring each pet gets ample love, interaction, and exercise according to their needs. Additionally, I keep a watchful eye on their health and well-being. I’m experienced in administering medications and handling special dietary requirements, so your pet’s care is never compromised. With 24/7 supervision, your pet will never be left alone, giving you peace of mind knowing they are safe, loved, and well cared for in a home environment.
“Danielle was quick to reply to messages and on time to meet Spud and walk him today. My dog instantly took a liking to her and it looked like they had a great time on their walk! She asked all the right questions to make sure that she knew as much as she could about Spud and his habits beforehand. I'd definitely recommend Danielle to anyone else looking for a dog walker”

About: Having had a ginormous golden retriever for 8 years (he sadly passed away last year) with plenty of personality and spirit getting him into all sorts of situations, I have plenty of experience. I am calm and loving and can think of no better way to spend my day than with a dog! I have previously dog walked and dog sat for friends and family for dogs of all sizes. I am an aspiring Dog Handler in the Police force. I always like to get out at least a couple of times a day for a walk or a run and miss taking my retriever with me for these excursions. So it would not impact my usual routine in any way other than that I would be blessed with the company of a dog! Despite being a second floor flat, we have an outdoor area that the dog can be taken. We live close to many green spaces and in a cul de sac which is very quiet off a residential road. I am a Police Officer so my shifts do vary, however this means I can offer short-term flexibility and availability at different periods of the week.
About: I love all animals really but especially cats, as I grew up around them - we had 2 Burmese cats, one of which lived to be 17yo. Our current cat, Bolly, emigrated with us from the U.K. to Australia and back again! I have also had a hamster and fish. As a teenager, and as an adult, I've often helped friends and neighbours out when they're away by looking after their pets - cats usually but I have also looked after dogs, Guinea pigs, chickens, birds, fish and rabbits too. I'm calm and patient - I very much let them come to me when they're ready to. I make sure your pet has been given attention and affection (if they want some), as well as fed, watered, and had litter cleaned etc. I'm happy to play and pet them, or just sit and be around for a while, depending on what they like. I send updates and pictures daily so you can relax and enjoy your time away. I'm a fan of Jackson Galaxy and his work on cat behaviour, which has helped me to gain a better understand of cats, and I use a lot of his techniques with Bolly, as well as the cats I look after. This has meant I've been able to befriend many nervous, shy cats using those skills. I've also got some experience with raw food as I've transitioned Bolly to a raw food diet so I'm happy to handle raw meat if needed. Whilst in Australia, pet sitting was my paid work and I’m keen to do that again here as I loved meeting so many different pets, and being able to have a little time away from home. I’m a stay at home parent to a 5yo and that means I’m flexible with my hours and availability. Often I am available before my husband goes to work, and then again from 5pm when he’s finished. On days he’s working from home, I can also do visits during the day. If your pet is ok with kids, my son loves to help too and that means I can come anytime. Weekends are easy as my husband isn’t n working. For house visits, I usually greet your pet first by letting them come to me, or checking any known hiding spots. Once I’ve said hello, I usually play with them, then feed them, and then I clean any litter trays whilst they eat. After that, I often sit on the floor or chair and hang out or play depending on their needs. I’m also happy to check post, water plants and put bins out. For pet walks, I greet them first, then get them ready with their leash and collect doggy bags for any dog poo. After the walk, I’ll check on your pet, give any treats/food/water as required before I leave.
About: I’ve been bought up around big to small dogs so understand the different needs of sizes and breeds from big bullmastiff to little terriers. I have a springer spaniel of my own who requires a lot of attention, mental stimulation and muddy walks. I also have worked with other animals including horses, and cows (calf rearing) so am definitely not shy of weather, mud or hard work and give good attention to detail when caring for animals. I’m currently working part time and am available Friday to Tuesday to walk, board and visit your pets with plenty of love when you’re not able too I have a big garden around an acre big which is secured and fenced for your pets to run and sniff around with my spaniel to keep them company or to be kept separate from your own. Big area inside my house for your dogs to get cosy in or a separate room/crate if that’s what they prefer.
About: I'm fully insured and DBS checked. I'm a real animal lover and have taken care of a variety of pets since I was a child. I grew up with cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs and since then I have owned fish, chickens and another dog, so I have a lot of experience with various animals. I have experience training a dog, and also in giving medicine. I'm currently working full time during the week, so I have lots of time during the weekends and evenings to look after your beloved pets. I have a dog of my own but he isn't a big fan of long walks, which is such a shame as I am! So if you have a dog needing a good long walk, I'd love to take them! But if your dog needs just a gentle walk with a lot of sniffing opportunities, I am very practiced at this. I am very professional and trustworthy and will treat your home and pets with respect and care. I will follow any rules you have for your pets whilst I am inside your home and/or out walking them. I have a DBS check and I'm fully insured.
About: I'm Jay, a West Harnham local and proud owner of two very opinionated rescue dachshunds (they run the house, I just pay the bills). After more than a decade of looking after pets, from bouncy Labradors to shy cockatiels, I’ve learned that every animal speaks its own quirky language. Luckily, I’m fluent in squeak, woof, and meow. I started pet sitting years ago because friends noticed I was the one who always ended up with an extra lead in my hand or a guinea pig on my lap. What began as “can you help just this once?” turned into a passion I never put down. Whether you need someone to keep your dog happy while you’re away, give your cat company when you’re working late, or make sure the budgie doesn’t throw a tantrum, I’m here to help. I’m based in West Harnham, but I also happily cover Salisbury, Wilton, Netherhampton, and nearby villages. If you're not in these areas, feel free to ask me - I will likely be happy to make a plan to travel. If your pet needs care from someone who takes the job as seriously as they take belly rubs, I’d love to chat. 🐾 Feel free to message me. I currently work from home most days of the week, so I am very flexible with pet care. I’m also available short notice if needed I have a medium size garden that’s private for only my use. I have two small friendly Daxies who love to play. I’m happy to take any pets that board with me on daily walks.

“Accepted our request promptly and at very short notice! Great communication and plenty of photos and videos sent to us during Winter's short stay. Highly recommended”

“Amber settled really well with Chloe. It was home from home. Chloe’s young family adored her and Amber was her usual laid back self. Would highly recommend Chloe and not hesitate to use again.”

“It was Louie’s first time away from us and Chloe was really good with Louie and asked for advice to make him feel more settled. Would recommend Chloe as despite a few issues of Louie missing us he was welcomed like a member of their family. We felt very relaxed leaving Louie and knew he was being well looked after.”

“Eleanor and Raymond took such wonderful care of Lucy and all her little quirks. They went above and beyond, taking the time to get to know her personality - her likes, dislikes, and her favourite routine. They managed everything with a genuine affection for her. It was such a comfort to know she was in such capable, caring hands while we were away. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!”
