I am a lifelong cat owner and have several years of experience caring for dogs, providing everything from walks, feeding and playtime to companionship and maintaining their usual routines. I’m confident caring for pets of different breeds, sizes, ages and personalities, and I always take the time to understand each animal’s individual needs, preferences and temperament. I also have experience caring for puppies and kittens, as well as older pets who may require a calmer approach, additional patience or more support with their daily routine. For dog walks, I’m happy to explore familiar routes in your local area and, for sociable dogs who enjoy the company of others, I can also visit secure dog parks with your permission. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and nervous, independent, or happiest curled up beside someone, I will always adapt my approach to help them feel safe, relaxed and comfortable in my care. Communication is really important to me, so I will keep you updated with regular photos and messages throughout the booking, giving you reassurance that your pet is happy and well cared for. If I ever have any concerns, I will contact you straight away, and in an emergency where I am unable to reach you, I would seek advice or treatment from your nominated vet. For additional peace of mind, I am fully insured independently for my pet-sitting services, alongside the protection provided through Rover. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. My aim is to provide dependable, attentive and genuinely caring support, allowing you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is receiving the same level of care and affection I would want for my own. 🐾

When caring for pets in their own home, I will always follow your instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medications and any specific requirements. I take care to ensure doors, gates and windows are secure and will treat your home with the same respect I would my own. I am happy to provide regular photo and message updates, so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away.

Rebecca cared for Peanut beautifully. She gave lovely updates and pictures of him. He and the home were in great condition when I got back. There was an issue at the beginning with the key and access but Rebecca kept me updated and resolved the issue promptly. And Peanut was absolutely fine. A great cat sitter. Thank you.
Rebecca is great - super communicative with everything, puts up with an oversized stubborn teenage dog and is really caring. Bjorn is always super happy after his weekly walk with Rebecca!

Such a lovely woman who clearly loves the animals in her care. Very reliable and trustworthy.
I had to cancel Rebecca as my dog was very ill but she was absolutely lovely. She was also very professional, visited beforehand to meet Dobby and answered all my questions promptly.

Schedule
I work from home as an Adjudicator, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to provide reliable pet care. During the week I am available for morning, lunchtime and evening drop-in visits and walks. I have greater flexibility at weekends and can often provide care throughout the day. I understand the importance of routine and will always do my best to fit around your pet’s schedule.

- I’d like to know much as possible about your pet before caring for them. Please tell me about their routine, personality, likes and dislikes, any medical conditions, allergies or medications, and how they interact with other animals and people. Please confirm dogs recall and whether they are trained, and what words they know and you use with them. If there is anything your pet finds challenging, such as being left alone, meeting other dogs or certain noises, please let me know so I can provide the best possible care. For house-sitting bookings, I just ask that the home is left in a reasonably clean and hygienic condition for my stay, with a clean place to sleep and access to a clean bathroom and kitchen. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and will always leave things as I found them, so I really appreciate the same consideration when I arrive 😊
