About: My partner and I have been raised alongside furry friends our entire lives, sadly we lost our pet of 14 years a while ago and whilst we are not ready to have another of own just yet, we do have a lot of love, snuggles and care to give whilst your away from them. I currently work from home so have plenty of time to care for your furry friend. If required, we can provide 3 walks per day with frequent toilet breaks during the day in a secured walled/fenced large garden. The morning walk will be before 08:0 with a walk at lunch (20 mins) and a longer walk in the evenings once my partner Martin returns home. We have parks locally and some fantastic long walks around Thrapston lakes. We have looked after a variety of dogs (and cats) and totally understand that every dog is different with their unique quirks, needs, wants and levels of attention, every visit is tailored to their needs whether just for the day or boarding overnight. We will ensure your dog is cared for as if our own and provide video/picture updates if required. I have completed a CPD Dog First Aid course and we have a doggie first aid kit on hand for any emergencies. I also have Pet Business Insurance with Protectivity, please ask if you would like to see a copy of the policy. The day would start with a walk before work (before 08:00) then your pets would be settled with me whilst I work from home. They will have access to the whole house and can lay peacefully on the couch in my study or in their own comfy beds if they want company or can retreat into their own space and watch the world go by out of the bay windows in the lounge. They would have frequent toilet/play breaks, lots of fussing and attention and a short lunchtime walk before a longer evening walk after work. My partner and co carer, Martin will join us on this evening walk which is usually taken around the local lakes or nearby parks. Snuggles and playtime in the evening before final toilet break, treat and bedtime. I have a fenced and walled garden which is totally secure, we currently do not have any pets of our own so yours will be our priority and we will only take pets from the same family in one booking. We will only bored dogs that have completed a meet & greet and the opportunity to walk on lead. This to make sure both your dog is as happy with us as we are with them. Whilst we will always try to accommodate a home from home experience and have toys/beds/treats available please ensure you pack their favourite toy/blanket or even an item of clothing that gives comfort to your pooch whilst your gone.

“We appreciate Grace taking care of our cat Hayley while we were away. She was communicative throughout the pet-sitting period, always replying to my messages on the same day. Our cat seemed reasonably happy overall, though she was a bit scared when we returned and hadn’t really eaten her wet food during our absence (which is not like her). That said, it’s not unusual for her to be shy with new people, and we believe the sitter handled things with care. We appreciated the clean space when we got home. Overall, a positive experience.”

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was born so I understand the love and responsibility it takes to look after your pets. I’ve had about 3 years experience of pet sitting and live at home with my family with 5 dogs! So I have lots of experience caring for animals. I’m a hybrid worker so I’m in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and work from home the rest of the week. About: I have previously worked in rescue which involved a lot of nervous/aggressive dogs. I have fostered lots of dogs in the past from week old puppies to senior dogs. I have 2 years experience with police, prison and military dogs as well as other service dogs. I worked at a boarding kennels for 2 years and have experienced many different behaviour dogs and many different sizes. From the very tiniest to the largest breed you could think of. I take time with getting the dogs to trust me and build a bond. I’m currently working full time but my hours vary. Some days I could be doing 11-3pm and others 8am - 5pm. I’m free most weekends and most evenings. I have a large fenced off garden and one very friendly family dog to keep your fur baby company if you choose or they can be the only ones (she doesn’t live with me but comes over from time to time). There is an option for a crate if needed but I allow them to go on our beds if desired.

About: I’ve had dogs as part of my family since the age of 10 so I am well aware of the needs and attention a dog can need. I have dog sat for neighbours in the past as well as dog walking for a local kennels. I’m an avid animal lover dedicating my life to getting an animal related degree and now working with animals full time. I work a 8-4 job so am available most evenings and weekends. I also have every 3 Monday and Fridays off work so am available in the day some weekdays. I have a 4 year old cockapoo living at home so the house is dog proof and always full of toys to play with. It has now become a habit to always see my dogs in the corner of my eye so I can care for all their needs at the right moment.

About: We’ve always had dogs but recently lost ours to old age and a stroke. The kids love animals but our family travels and we felt it would be better to help others with their dogs than get another for ourselves while the kids are young. We love walks and have a 2 acre garden which is perfectly suited to any type of dog large or small! We both work from home so have lots of cuddle time available for the dogs we care for as well as ample time available for lots of walks in the huge amounts of Countryside Surrounding our home. With walks in Tywell hills and Dales, walks to the Drayton Estate, and onwards to other surrounding villages your pet will never be short of exercise! As a dog owner i’ve trained dogs in agility, flyball and obedience and consider myself to be an experienced handler of Collies, Staffordshire bull terriers and British bull dogs. We are open to any breed but they need to be happy to be around children and not nervous.

About: I owned 2 Golden Retrievers for 19 years. I loved the first so much i bred her & kept 1 of the 8 puppies & mother & daughter were inseparable. This experience was amazing & i kept in touch with the dogs & families of the other 7 puppies all their lives. I also have 2 Grand dogs in the family a Labrador & a Sprocker Spaniel which i adore & look after regularly. I miss having a dog & would like to give some love to others. I have recently retired & have time to look after other animals in their own homes. Having had years of experience and a lot of love to give. I am happy to visit & feed other dogs & walk them as necessary on a regular basis. I am very aware of the importance of safety and the health of the animals in our care.

About: Have loads of years looking after family, friends and neighbours pets, aswell of my very own pets of course! Being around animals is a gift to me! I work a 4on 4off work, starting at 6am and finishing at 7pm on work days, will be more than happy to do as much as possible when not at work! I have work as a carer before, as home visits caring for people, so I'm quite familiar with keysafes and alarms. I'm also aware that each house, person, and pet will have their own requirements and I'm happy to follow any rules, or requests.

About: I am an experienced home boarder of over 9 years, licensed by North Northants Council (License Number 21/00355/AWBH), and have been awarded a 5 ⭐️rating. I've been raised alongside dogs. I have an abundance of repeat customers with happy dogs. I often see the owner having to drag them away from my door because they want to see me which is a testament to my treatment of them. Always plenty of walks, lots of fuss, cuddles and playtime. DBS checked. Also experienced in house sitting, pet visits and dog walking. I have looked after many dogs over the years with behavioural and/or walking issues and I always endeavour to try to get to the root of their issues with lots of reassurance, love and common sense. If house sitting, I am happy to cater for any other pets also at the property at the time of visiting. All dogs for home boarding or doggy daycare must have an up-to-date vaccination certificate. Also, dogs staying in excess of 3 nights, will be subject to a trial night beforehand to ensure that we bond together well (usual rate fee to be paid). Please also remember that my fees include the additional cost of my licence from the Council with all relevant updating and approvals carried out, full and comprehensive public liability insurance, plus the fact that I am not caring for your dog as an additional second income, or because I’m working from home- it’s because I’m passionate about dogs and their welfare 🐾🐶💕 Bookings are already being taken for 2024, so please book early to avoid disappointment. All meet and greets are free of charge, available at a convenient time for you, even at weekends. My days are entirely devoted to your dogs. I occasionally have other dog walks for Clients, but I will include your dog, if at all possible. It is unusual for dogs to be left alone for more than an hour as my partner and sister are on hand to help. All dogs are treated as part of the family. If allowed on furniture at home, then they are at mine. I endeavour to stick to the owners routine and requirements at all times but, ultimately, its the happiness and welfare of the dogs that is important to me.

About: Active young male who has owned pets whole life, experienced with large dogs having owned a Japanese Akita for nearly 17 years. Services I offer: Dog walking - Willing to walk up to 4 dogs at a time, no more. 30mins or 1 hour walk depending on breed/requirements. Drop in visits - Will travel to pet owners home and do as owner requires, this will be within reasonable distance if further afield may be able to negotiate a price to cover fuel and time. House Sitting - Stay over pet owners home and look after pets and house, again within reasonable distance but can negotiate a price to cover fuel.
