“Alex was INCREDIBLE! This was our first experience of using Rover and it was perfect, mainly because of the care and attention Alex gave to Charlie. She went through everything thoroughly, what he needs were, what his likes, dislikes and the she instinctively knew how to treat him. Prefect communication, we had lots of messages whilst we were away, with lovely pictures! Excellent knowledge of dogs and Charlie's 'Breed' (or non breed as he is a total hotch potch!) Also my house was truly taken care of, prefectly tidy and it felt looked after too! Can't recommend her enough and we have already booked again :)”

About: Dogs think I'm their new best friend. Cats eventually decide I'm acceptable. Either way, your pets get plenty of care, attention, playtime and updates while you are away. I grew up with my doggie, Fudge. She would sit on my lap in the pram, deal with being dressed as a princess through my childhood and be the fur I cried into during the dreadful teenage years! Animals make our lives and we make theirs. Thats why as a sitter I treat your animal like they are my own childhood pup, providing love, adventure and time when you can't. I am a professional harpist so my day involves practicing my music and giving your pet lots of attention and love. My days are incredibly flexible so I can cater them to what your pet needs. I have a large paddock with lots of space for Zoomies, as well as a fenced off smaller garden to keep your pets safe. I live fairly rurally in the beautiful Kent countryside and I'm close to the beach if your doggie loves a swim!

About: I have always had animals in my life - whether it be dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, guinea pigs or a variety of different birds. I have always loved and felt calmest around animals... even in situations around nervous or excited animals. I have taken care of animals over time, just out of love, care and kindness. I am a childrens therapist, but wish to complete dog walking and animal sitting as I love being around animals and felt like this would be a great way of helping. I have a dog, who has care needs and I have helped care for puppies, adult dogs and dogs with complex medical needs in the past. I also own a bengal cat and previously owned a rescue stable cat - so I am very comfortable around animals... even when they are less used to or nervous around humans. I currently work full time as a childrens therapist. My own dog has a health condition and can no longer go on walks - I would love to walk and take care of your animals in evenings or weekends. I would only offer pet sitting in your own home. I will not offer pet sitting services to anyone of which I have an association with through completion of theraputic work as this would be unethical and unsuitable. I would follow your guidance and treat your animals as I treat my own. I have a tracker on my phone that is monitored by friends and family who is aware of my whereabouts at all times.

In my home, dogs have access to a large, secure fenced garden with both grass and patio areas to play and explore safely. I also have a friendly, well-socialised Cocker Spaniel who loves the company of other dogs, as well as a large crate and comfortable bed if your dog prefers their own space. I have dedicated fridge space for storing fresh food or any special dietary requirements, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your dog is happy, safe and receiving the best possible care.

About: I’ve cared for animals of all kinds since I was a child. I’ve owned everything from rabbits and guinea pigs to goats and cats and have looked after dogs of all ages and temperaments. I work from home on a flexible schedule so am available for companionship, feeds and walks all day…and even in the night. I also walk on the cliffs, parks or beaches regularly and welcome the company. I have a large fenced garden and home with areas that can be closed off for safety and cleanliness. I believe in positive reinforcement with respect for space and building a bond with individual animals.

“Fern looked after Blaez and our household this weekend. Blaez was delighted to see her, they know each other through regular walks. Fern sent lots of photos, video clips and updates. Blaez has medication 4 times a day, and Fern gave this to her. When I arrived home, Blaez was so happy and settled, exhausted from all the fun she had and the house was clean and tidy. Fern had also stripped her bed and washed up. I couldn't be happier with the care Fern gave Blaez, the respectful way she looked after our house and extended her care to looking out for our 3 tortoises. I absolutely recommend Fern's services!”

About: I Just Want to Hangout with Your Pet! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I’m currently full time at home! My husband works from home and my children now attend school full time. I have so much spare time and would absolutely love to start caring for pets! I do have a 1year old male Shih Tzu ! He is absolutely adorable! He is my best friend. He is so good with other dogs and cats. Walking is in our daily routine. I ensure he gets plenty of fun walks having fun in the mud! I understand how to deal with behavioural issues with dogs. I’ve always had dogs and been around dogs since my childhood. I can confidently deal with their meals and toileting. Trained all my pet dogs. Although I haven’t had cats as a pet. My sister and mum owns a cat. I’m good around cats and understand their mentality and know when to give them their space! I have a large garden front and back. My back garden is fenced and absolutely no way out for escape. My home is my pride. I live in a clean new build 4 bedroom spaced home. There is a massive green space surrounding my home so walking is absolutely priority and easy!

About: I’m a calm, reliable, and patient dog walker who builds trust quickly with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. My priority is always to make every walk safe, relaxed, and tailored to each dog’s personality, energy levels, and individual needs. With four years of experience caring for and walking dogs, I particularly enjoy taking them out into nature. I prefer longer, enriching countryside and woodland walks where dogs can freely explore, sniff, and burn off energy in a stimulating natural environment. I often forage for mushrooms along the way, which makes each walk feel like a proper outdoor adventure. I’ll also often take photos during our walks so you can see what we’ve been up to! I’ve recently started my own business that gives me flexibility with how I structure my day and week.
