I've had animals in my life since I was two years old so understand the need for patience, care and responsibility when it comes to their well being. Im happy to travel within the UK to your home and assure you I’ll take care of it as if it’s my own NOT CURRENTLY BOARDING I have a fully enclosed small garden with 7 feet walls and live near some beautiful orchards and farm land so pee breaks as and when are not a problem for boarders. Boarders are allowed on my furniture but only if that’s what happens in your home. I’m keen to keep to your pets routine and rules so would love to discuss them at a pre meet or on a video call before a sit goes ahead. I can also transport to vets or grooming appointments if these are scheduled for when you’re away. I’ll send as many/as few photos and updates as you need so you know that your pet is being cared for to the high standards I provide

About: I am originally from North Yorkshire and have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life; my first being a Labrador called Shawkie and a Shetland Sheepdog called Pepper. Since then, I have grown up with Border Collies and shorthaired cats. I have since moved to Kent, and I now have my own cat named Nova, who I have had since she was 11 weeks old. I have helped friends and family from a young age with walking and caring for their own dogs, and then went on to work at a boarding kennel and cattery before becoming a Zoo Keeper. Being a Zoo Keeper means I have had several years of training in animal care and safety as well as dog and cat specific care from working at a kennels. I have been trained previously in the administration of medication both oral and injections from a licensed vet while working as a Zoo Keeper so I am able to comfortably meet any care requirements you may have. I am happy to allow your dog off lead during walks, provided they are well-trained and you would like them off lead, otherwise they will be fully leaded while on walks. I do also have a fenced garden at my house for any short play sessions :)

About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)
