About: I grew up with a sweet smooth collie and helped take care of her throughout my childhood. About: I put 30+ years of pet care experience on here but it’s really more like 45. I’ve been taking care of our family pets since I was 8 years old. I always took care of family and friend’s pets, stayed at their homes when they needed me to watch them or just played with their fur babies so they wouldn’t be alone during the day. About: I’ve had pets from hamsters to cats to dogs since I was under 10. Our family brought our first dog home in 2009. I loved training with her, caring for her, and just spending time with her and immediately fell in love with dogs. In 2013 we brought home our second family dog and I got to train with her and care for her just like I did for our first puppy. Both grew up to be such sweet amazing dogs and in 2020, my husband and I adopted our first puppy Axel. He is a high energy breed and was born with a hole in his heart- but that doesn’t stop him! We fostered Izzy in 2022, and Axel bonded with her so much as a sibling, we just couldn’t let her go! Izzy had heartworm and limes disease when she arrived from Kentucky, so she’s had quite a healing journey (especially at 10 years old!). I have experience with high energy dogs, elderly dogs, and administering medication for both. My love for dogs is deep rooted and I will always love getting the chance to make them happy! I recently graduated from my college certification course and will now also be available for evening time slots/ weekends in addition to my morning and daytime weekday openings. “Are you looking for an amazing animal lover and talented dog trainer? Look no farther. A few years ago, I adopted a puppy. I adopted him because he needed to get out of a…less than awesome situation. Needless to say, he had no confidence, he was skittish of everything, had no training (had never even worn a collar), and I was in WAY over my head. I had no idea what I was going to do. I know basic dog training, but I knew that wasn’t going to hold a candle to what I needed. Riley came in wearing a superhero cape (well, a dog treat pouch, same same) and helped me create a solid foundation that allows me to have a happy and healthy dog today. Something I didn’t know would have even been possible given the dog that I originally brought home. Through Riley’s gentle teaching, my dog and I learned how to make the best life for him. I could write a small novel on all of the tips and tricks to Riley showed and gave. She is a trove of knowledge.. Reilly does more than just train your dog, she teaches you and explains why all of the things are important. For me, that is where the real gem lays. She helps you build long lasting habits and understanding as to how your dog/why your dog works like it does/ is doing what it’s doing. And by extension, she’s able to offer solutions far and wide that both fit your individual needs in your individual needs. I constantly receive compliments on how well trained and how amazing my dog is. Though I only worked with Riley directly for a couple of months, her skills and her knowledge have resulted in years of happiness- both mine and my dog’s. I truly mean it when I say that the dog I have now isn’t recognizable from the puppy that I picked up from a chaotic situation years ago and that is thanks to Reilly.
