About: Our dogs are our children. We've been dog parents for 23 years. All of our dogs have had medical issues (seizures, renal failure, heart disease, patella dysplasia, anxiety) so we know how to care for healthy, less than healthy and sensitive babies. Most of our dogs have had some sort of medication prescribed, so we're very versed in administering oral meds. My husband and I are semi-retired and work from the home, so your baby can be loved on as much or as little as it wants. Truthfully, I'll probably have to reign in my husband on the playing / cuddling time. He's never met a dog he hasn't loved and wanted to pet. Our dog, Beans, is a 14 lb Pomeranian who loves playing with other dogs. He loves running in our large, privacy fenced backyard, but he's just as happy lounging in his bed, our bed or on the couch. Your baby will be afforded that same luxury. If your dog sleeps in a crate, we don't have one, so you would need to bring yours. We don't require dogs be crated, though.
14. Juliet M.
“Juliet has cared for my pets in the past. She is attentive and responsible. I have also witnessed her go above and beyond to care for her own pets. I trust her completely.”
15. Debbie S.
“They were SO wonderful with our puppy. He had such a great time and they were periodically sending us pictures of him interacting with other dogs and taking naps and playing. We felt so safe to leave him with Debbie and Chelsey!”

About: I have always grown up with a dog and cat in the home. As an adult I worked In Veterinary clinics and animal shelters for over ten years. I have a lot of knowledge from those experiences. I love caring for animals and I’m very thankful to look after some of the most loved family members in springfield. This is my full time job. I generally walk dogs in the morning to set them up for a good day. Then I’m home with any daycare or boarders. When I have pets in my home they are introduced to my dogs. My goal is to have everyone able to have fun and interact together. If there are personality issues that prevent that, I have a tall strong gate that divides my house so that each side can have their own space and not be restricted to a kennel or feel isolated from people. I do have a large wire kennel for them at night or while I am away from the home for safety.

“Needing to have your pets cared for by a stranger can be overwhelming and stressful. We all consider our pets members of our family. That is how Athena feels as well, she is amazing, attentive, clearly responsible, super friendly, respectful .. and did I mention she LOVES animals (and it shows!). You will want to use Athena again and will want to tell all your pet owning friends to call her when they need the best pet sitter in town. She even gives the neighbors donkeys ear rubs and they always wait at the fence for her. Don’t hesitate to give Athena a call.”
19. Payten S.

20. Gerrad L.
