About: When I moved into my house in 2018, one of my first priorities was to get a dog. Recently, Addie, who spent the past 7 years with me, had to be put down unexpectedly. I miss her a ton, and I would love to open my home to another dog (the yard just calls out for it), but I am unable to adopt at the moment for logistical/financial reasons. I would love for your pets and I to keep each other company while I work from home during the day! I am a diligent and reliable person who works remotely as a paralegal, so I always need excuses (whether walks, play, food, snuggles, or just potty breaks) to get up from my desk and move at intervals throughout the work day. I love animals of all kinds - in addition to my own dog, I can submit my friends' pets as references (Mildred the cat likes me better than her owner's wife, and Maggie the dog is obsessed with me while spurning every other friend her owners have). I'm also a birdwatcher and a huge fan of all the wildlife in my yard, from bunnies to lizards. My dog training and medical/senior pet care skills are limited, but I am open to learning and strongly attentive to detail - I will be sure to give your pet what they need. I work from home during the week, with approximate hours of 7 am - 4 pm M-F. On Tuesdays I have appointments in the afternoons, so I will not be available for day care that day. Weekend availability will depend on my plans. I don't have any pets at home currently. I have a screened-in patio with a dog door leading to the fenced-in backyard. When the weather is nice (not too hot), I like to work in the patio. The yard backs onto a wash, so there is a lot of wildlife in the area. Javelinas and coyotes frequent the area but cannot get into the yard. I have seen two rattlesnakes in the yard in 7 years of living here. I would not leave small/medium dogs or cats outside unsupervised. If you give permission, I would feel comfortable leaving large dogs who are snake trained outside while I'm in the house (as I often did with my 80 lb golden doodle).

About: Hi there! I’m Nicolette, a lifelong animal lover and dedicated pet caregiver with a heart for all things furry, fluffy, and four-legged. As a mom and nurturer by nature, I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, loved, and genuinely cared for when you’re away. Whether it’s tail-wagging walks or cozy cuddle sessions, I bring warmth, reliability, and a calm presence that animals trust. I take time to connect with each pet’s unique personality and needs—so whether your fur baby is shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, they’re in gentle, loving hands. I offer: • overnight stays • Personalized care tailored to your pet’s routine • Photo updates so you can relax while you’re away • Flexible scheduling and prompt communication Let’s make sure your pets feel just as loved as they would with you! Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I’m a stay-at-home mom with a calm, pet-friendly home. I’m home throughout the day, so your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship—not just quick check-ins. Caring for others (whether little humans or furry friends!) comes naturally to me, and I treat every animal like part of the family. From morning walks to bedtime snuggles, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home. In my home, I create a calm, loving environment where pets can feel safe and relaxed. I follow each pup’s routine as closely as possible—whether that means set mealtimes, walks, or bedtime snuggles. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection throughout the day, and I’m always mindful of their comfort and cues. I keep my space clean, cozy, and pet-friendly, and I only take a limited number of dogs at a time so every guest gets the care they deserve. Whether they’re active or low-key, I meet them where they are with patience and love.

“I can’t say enough nice things about Kathy. We were in the middle of a move and planned on stopping in Tucson for two days. Our Airbnb fell through and we had to find care for our 2 dogs last minute. In a very stressful situation, Kathy relieved all stress related to our pets. We have two 1 1/2 year-old dachshunds and they can be very particular. They immediately loved her. Her home is very accommodating for your pets. Kathy has a spacious back yard. She provided pictures and updates of my little dudes thriving throughout the day which absolutely alleviated my concerns as they have only been watched by family. Honestly, I wish Kathy lived in California. She would be my go to dog sitter. Book with her, you can’t go wrong!”

“I would absolutely recommend Michelle x1000 for pet care. They are so great with my three kitties, who all adore them. One of my cats, Mildred, is VERY PICKY about the people she trusts, but Michelle is one of the select few and it's so cool to see her purring away on Michelle's lap. Beyond that, Michelle is one of the most solid and reliable and thoughtful people I know. I would trust their judgment on anything.”

Pamela R.
“Pam and I have done many trail rides on our horses together since 2019. We have cared for each others horses dogs and cats when either of us had to be away from home. Cleaning feeding giving medication as needed. We’ve let each other know the daily status of our fur babies which helps so much with peace of mind when you have to be away from home. We’ve depended on Pam’s care of all the animals and garden with no worries. Highly recommend Pam.”

Nicolette S.
“I can’t recommend Nicolette enough as a pet sitter and dog walker! She’s been taking care of my dog, Shadow, and my two cats, Maple and Kai, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her. Shadow absolutely adores her—his tail starts wagging the second she walks through the door. Nicolette is calm, patient, and incredibly intuitive with animals. She knows exactly when Shadow needs a walk, a cuddle, or just a quiet moment. Maple and Kai are usually shy around new people, but they warmed up to Nicolette right away. She gives them their space when they need it, but also takes the time to play with them and keep their routines consistent. I always come home to happy, relaxed pets—which says everything. Nicolette is not only reliable and trustworthy, but she genuinely loves animals, and it shows in every interaction. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets as if they were her own, look no further than Nicolette S. She’s the best!”
