“I boarded my 20 pound Miniature Schnauzer with Ron for a period of ten days while in Hawaii. My pup is an important part of my family and I want him to feel as if he is also having a vacation while I am away. After carefully researching every available boarding option I decided on Ron. I met Ron for a meet and greet before the actual boarding and his responsible and trustworthy nature was evident. Ron also has a beautifully landscaped and secure back yard. Lastly, Ron's Poodle Lily made an excellent companion to my proportionately sized Miniature Schnauzer. In my opinion, the combination of these qualities make's Ron the best choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My schnauzer had a joyous time frolicking and cuddling with Ron's poodle while I was away. Ron did a great job of sending photos. The photos showed that my pup was eating, enjoying time on the couch and even cuddled in bed next to Ron's poodle. I received photos throughout my trip (not just the first few days) and these photos convinced me that my pup was having just as much fun as I was. Ron is a primary school teacher which is an occupation that I have much respect for and is illustrative of his good character. Ron also has a love of plants which is evident in his beautiful green yard with lots of shady places for dogs to rest and play. I was also very pleased that Ron has a dog door that my 20 pound schnauzer was able to fit through easily for constant back yard access. Overall, I do not think there is a better choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My pup actually seemed sad to leave Ron and his poodle Lily. It was a great opportunity for my dog to socialize and play with another well trained dog. My dog came back happy, well exercised and without a trace of anxiety. In conclusion, Ron is a kind, intelligent, and caring animal lover. I would not hesitate to board my much loved miniature schnauzer with him next time I go on vacation. Ron's tranquil home and general attitude make the experience a vacation for your pet.”

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!
About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. About: If you know me, you know I love animals! My first job was working at PetsMart PetsHotel! From the tiniest frog to the biggest Great Dane, I love them all. I have 3 dogs of my own, 1 snake and 1 desert tortoise. In our home, we love all creatures big and small. I currently work from home with flexible hours to accommodate varying schedules. About: When I moved into my house in 2018, one of my first priorities was to get a dog. Recently, Addie, who spent the past 7 years with me, had to be put down unexpectedly. I miss her a ton, and I would love to open my home to another dog (the yard just calls out for it), but I am unable to adopt at the moment for logistical/financial reasons. I would love for your pets and I to keep each other company while I work from home during the day! I am a diligent and reliable person who works remotely as a paralegal, so I always need excuses (whether walks, play, food, snuggles, or just potty breaks) to get up from my desk and move at intervals throughout the work day. I love animals of all kinds - in addition to my own dog, I can submit my friends' pets as references (Mildred the cat likes me better than her owner's wife, and Maggie the dog is obsessed with me while spurning every other friend her owners have). I'm also a birdwatcher and a huge fan of all the wildlife in my yard, from bunnies to lizards. My dog training and medical/senior pet care skills are limited, but I am open to learning and strongly attentive to detail - I will be sure to give your pet what they need. I work from home during the week, with approximate hours of 7 am - 4 pm M-F. On Tuesdays I have appointments in the afternoons, so I will not be available for day care that day. Weekend availability will depend on my plans. I don't have any pets at home currently. I have a screened-in patio with a dog door leading to the fenced-in backyard. When the weather is nice (not too hot), I like to work in the patio. The yard backs onto a wash, so there is a lot of wildlife in the area. Javelinas and coyotes frequent the area but cannot get into the yard. I have seen two rattlesnakes in the yard in 7 years of living here. I would not leave small/medium dogs or cats outside unsupervised. If you give permission, I would feel comfortable leaving large dogs who are snake trained outside while I'm in the house (as I often did with my 80 lb golden doodle).

About: I love dogs and more likely I will treat it like a baby cause their loveable and will treat them good and love hem even tho if it's not my own, I'll still show love and confront the dog and be on its side. The thing is of taking care of dogs is that I would never want to leave it's side. I always want to be on its side. I feel like I could be clingy to someone's dog. I would never want to keep my eyes off of it. That's how much I care for dogs, I have this love for dogs I want to take care of it like it's a baby while their owners are gone. About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. I am currently going to school at the UofA full time during the weekdays (my class schedule is listed below keep reading) and would be available most days to come and play with the animals for 30 minutes to an hour in the afternoons and overnight sitting. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!
About: I have experience with animals of all sizes! Most important to me is that I provide a safe and attentive environment. For high energy dogs we have a large backyard and trails around our house! I am able to walk and/or run them if requested. For lazy dogs, we have lots of surfaces to lay on and love to cuddle! I am mindful of water intake and make sure that all pets are kept on their usual schedule.

I am up early and stay up moderately late, so I can accommodate early morning or nighttime walks that avoid the heat. I have a very friendly Australian Shepherd that loves to play with other dogs. Our home is multi-level, so best for dogs that are physically comfortable going up and down stairs. Our location has a lot of areas for walks, and park play, which is a part of our routine whenever watching a client in our home. When caring for a pet in their own home, I make every effort to mimic any routines they are used to. This assists in helping dogs feel safe and comfortable, and leads to a better overall experience. I am a very clean person, so it is important to me to keep others' spaces that way as well.
About: I've loved dogs my whole life! When I was born my mom had a chocolate lab and a doberman. Then my dad got a rescue pitbull and a husky mix. Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t like me! I just graduated esthetician school and I’m currently starting my business. Everything I make on rover goes towards my career! Im currently starting my entrepreneurial journey. Right now I’m a full time pet care giver. I also work a weekend night job. I do not have a set schedule so I have open availability. I prefer to care for pets in my home but I’m always happy to accommodate whatever the client needs. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for play and accessible paths for walks. During sittings I make sure to not only take great care of the pet but the clients home as well.
About: I love dogs and more likely I will treat it like a baby cause their loveable and will treat them good and love hem even tho if it's not my own, I'll still show love and confront the dog and be on its side. The thing is of taking care of dogs is that I would never want to leave it's side. I always want to be on its side. I feel like I could be clingy to someone's dog. I would never want to keep my eyes off of it. That's how much I care for dogs, I have this love for dogs I want to take care of it like it's a baby while their owners are gone. Showing them love is what I feel they need even if their owners are gone. I’m looking to watch someone’s baby I’m available Monday-Wednesday all day long and can take pictures of your fur baby will you away for your reassurance:) I have a fenced yard, but will keep puppy’s or cats inside for the pets safety. About: I am a highly active person, I run daily and regularly work out at home. I have lived with and cared for multiple dogs over my life and have experience with both young energetic dogs and older dogs. I have a vehicle and would love to take dogs to the park or trail depending on their exercise needs. I can also provide grooming or bathing for any dog if necessary and will gladly care for dogs with special needs or dietary restrictions. I am currently a masters student at the University of Arizona and will be attending classes Monday-Friday with availability to care for pets in the afternoons or evenings. My schedule is flexible on weekends and I will be available for overnight stays or morning activities as arranged. I care for my dog daily: every morning we go for a run together and I often spend the evenings taking him out to play in our yard. I love to be active in the morning before the sun is up and am highly conscious of my dogs needs throughout the day. In clients homes I strive to give their pets the same standards and routines they are used to. I will always ask for as many details as possible in order to make sure they are comfortable and feel safe with me. I am laid back and comfortable providing specialized care whenever needed. Because I’ve spent most of my life with animals, I am highly observant and will notice when behavior or mannerisms appear abnormal, so you can trust I will always communicate and update clients on their pets health.

I also have the time to take your pet for walks or to nearby dog parks. I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your pets to play! I have three small dogs and a cat who are all very friendly. About: We welcome all fur babies into our home becauses all fur babies deserve the best! My husband Mike is a huge pet lover as well and is always looking out for what's best and how to make them feel comfortable on their stay. During the stay they can expect tons of play time in our huge back yard, long walks around our quiet neighborhood and lots and lots of love! ( Did I mention treats??) I do not sleep until I feel that your fur baby is calm and relaxed. I will provide massages if needed! :) Remember that sometimes our fur babies experience anxiety when parents leave, so please bring a familiar blanket or t-shirt along with a favorite toy to help calm your doggy. Our home is nothing fancy but it's clean and it's ours and we would love to share it with you! So much play time and nap time wanted!! If you don't want to run & play you are welcome to nap on my couch or cozy chair. My bed is nice also, just make sure to wipe your paw-paws. ;) We miss our "doggy baby boy", (passed in 2010) we taught him to fetch the morning paper and all kinds of tricks. Such a friendly doggy he was. I would like to put my love towards other dogs that need babysitting when their humans are away, let them know that I will provide them with safety and fun, hugs, kisses and don't forget the butt scratches! So don't worry parents your sweet lil fur babies will have a great time!
About: We are huge animal lovers and have owned a variety of different pets including several breeds of dogs. We currently have one elderly indoor cat that we have had for over 10 years and a playful pitbull mix. We are also a foster and adoptive family so there are always children around to keep your pet company. We love spending time in nature, exploring wild places with my family and teaching my children about animals. We live on a large plot of land where a dog would be able to run and play without disturbing our neighbors. Tristina is a full time mom so your furry friend would never be unsupervised and the whole family has experience as long time pet owners. Allen works 4 pm to midnight and is usually home most of the day and Tristina is usually at home so the your fur baby would almost never be left alone. Our home has to stay foster care compliant so it is always a safe environment for your pets. We have completed dog training classes with our dog and know ways to make them feel comfortable in our home as well as mentally and physically stimulated.
