“Courtney and family were wonderful! My little girl was treated with lots of love and kindness and I am sure she enjoyed all the attention she got. I felt very comfortable leaving her with this great family, and I look forward to Precious having another visit with Courtney and family....they are "outstanding" .”

“Being returning customer speaks volumes of the quality of the job business performed, and whether goods/service was worth the money. We are exceptionally pleased with Ron after first time dog sitting experience, and did not hesitate to bring our precious baby Pedro (12 y/old Chihuahua) for another boarding weekend with Ron. Pedro loves his pals (Ron’s 2 adorable dogs), and enjoys spending time at Ron’s house. We are so grateful for Ron, and feel we could not have found a better caregiver for our precious baby Pedro, and hoping to continue being customers for years to come!”

“Moosie always loves his stays with Vicky. We’ve used her several times now! She always has great communication and I appreciate her attention to the small details. Thanks for everything, Vicky! Until next time.”

“Dana is wonderful. I left my dog with her while I was out of the country. The WiFi was less reliable than expected at most of my accommodations so I was unable to communicate as often as I would have liked. However, I didn’t worry about my dog at all during the periods of no communication. I knew she was safe and well looked after with Dana. I would recommend Dana’s services to a friend. Thank you for taking such great care of my girl! 🐶 💕”

“MacGyver loves going to stay with Gail while we travel! She is very accommodating feeding him his mix of vegetables & kibble while treating him like her own pup! Thanks, Gail!”

“Beth was so good with Lola. She even let her sleep in her room at night ❤️I picked her up and she was a happy girl and very calm.Beth is a good match and we will be a return satisfied customer for sure! Also got photos regularly which was reassuring. Thank you Beth”

“Kat took such great care of Luna. We were able to meet ahead of time for my dog to get acquainted with kat’s dog and house. Kat sent photos and kept us looped in the whole time we were away. I felt 100% confident that my dog was well cared for and happy.”

“Our Golden Retriever, Bucky, was in great hands with Richard and Jeanette for his first stay with them for four days! It was nice to know that someone who loves dogs was around with him all the time, and gave him the attention and play time that he needed :) He's ready for another visit soon!”

“Barbara was great with my dog. She sent photos and updates and you could tell she was really enjoying spending time with the dogs she had in her care. Would definitely recommend her and will be using her again in the future.”

“Antonio took great care of our pup. He was very easy to communicate with and provided updates throughout the stay with pictures and videos. We would definitely use him again to watch our pup and recommend him.”

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! Your dog will be in good hands.”

“Wally had a great time at Lara's and seemed to enjoy spending time with her dogs and a couple of others that were boarding at the same time. There was enough activity between socializing, playing, and exploring the farm that Wally came home tired -- which is a good thing -- and something we've not seen in a long time! If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, Lara's farm is a good choice.”

“Gina was attentive, kind, and great energy! I felt very comfortable knowing my babies were in good hands. I received daily pictures and updates. I couldn't be happier with our experience.”

“Christie and Daniel were the absolute best with our girl Bella. It was amazing having someone always home with her, to play, walk her and cuddle with her on the couch. We received so many updates while we were on our trip which kept our minds at ease. We definitely will be booking with them again! We are so happy we found them♥️”

“I never once felt worried while Ashton was in Michelle’s care. From the very beginning, she made me feel completely comfortable and reassured. It was clear how much Ashton was genuinely cared for - my dog was happy, well-loved, and treated like their own. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can truly trust and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, reliable puppy babysitter.”

“Annie and her husband are extraordinary people. They took care of Roscoe, like he was there own. Annie took Roscoe on hour long walks, her husband hung out with him on the couch watching tv. Roscoe had a wonderful weekend. I had a wonderful vacation knowing that he was in good hands.I would highly recommend Annie her husband to watch your dog! Roscoe will definitely be going back to visit when I go on another vacation!”

“Can’t say enough great things. Ashley is very sweet has great vibes to her. Friendly dogs and my pup loved it there with her. It was her first over night with someone new and she did really there. Ashley made it very comfortable for me to have her watch my pup. Thank you so much and will be seeing you very soon”

“Erica is absolutely the best. Rickey felt right at home and was able to socialize and go on walks and get plenty of love. We could not be happier with her stay and can’t wait to have Erica watch her again.”

“Courtney was a wonderful sitter. I have very social cats but I could tell when she first met them that they’d be in good hands. She even fed my mice that I hadn’t previously mentioned (I recommend always telling your sitter in advanced if you have “extra” pets so they’re aware, though, that’s on me). But she was so friendly and easy to communicate with. I’d also hired her to water my plants but because of the rain we got she didn’t have to. The fact that she was willing to do so and asked questions to make sure she did things right was more than enough for me. My home was also exactly as I left it, so I really appreciated Courtney’s efforts. The cats were asking about her when she left so she must’ve done something right. 10/10!”

“My cat had a health emergency 2 days before I had a trip planned - Sabrina agreed to house sit for me last minute and give him meds 4 times a day. She is an angel! She totally saved me in this stressful situation. She took great care of both my cats, gave the sick one all his doses, and communicated well with me about his health status the whole time! My cats and I love her!!!! She's so sweet and caring and I instantly trusted her with my pets and she did NOT disappoint!!!”

“I can't say enough good things about Savannah! It’s obvious she is a real pet person who genuinely cares about our fur babies. She was diligent with updates, and she even bought toys to keep my pet happy and entertained. Thank you Savannah!”

“Another job well done. This is our third time having Laurel look after our 3 cats and she does a great job caring for them. We always appreciate the pictures and summaries she includes after each visit. We would definitely hire her again and recommend her to other pet parents!”

“Asher did a wonderful job with my senior cat.He is older and needs soft food. Giz loved his time with Asher. She was very patient and caring . I would definitely recommend Asher to care for any of your pets. She listened to all his needs and took really good care of him.”

“Tracie did a wonderful job dropping in on my cat, Kiku. She let me know when she was going in and would send me texts and photos of Kiku everyday! Tracie took care of food, water and litter box issues and cleaned up a small mess Kiku made on the carpet. I have no hesitation using Tracie in the future when I need a caring person to watch over my Kiku.”

“Pamela is a warm, kind, and empathetic sitter who fully devotes herself to caring for the pets she watches. She is reliable and responsive and has helped me in many a last-minute pinch with nothing but grace. If I could give her ten stars, I would!”

“Rosa did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Leo! She was super reliable and made sure he was well cared for while I was away. She sent me updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I could tell Leo was happy and comfortable with her. I’d definitely book with Rosa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and responsible pet sitter!”

“This is our first time hiring a pet sitter through Rover and the experience did not disappoint! Terri is very professional and goes above and beyond in caring for our pets and home while we were on vacation. She gave frequent and detailed updates including pictures. I would definitely hire her again, no question!”
“Shealeigh was incredible! My cat doesn’t like too many people, but he gravitated towards her! She offered to pay me a visit before hand which was great. Would recommend her to anyone!”

About: We are huge animal lovers and have owned a variety of different pets including several breeds of dogs. We currently have one elderly indoor cat that we have had for over 10 years and a playful pitbull mix. We are also a foster and adoptive family so there are always children around to keep your pet company. We love spending time in nature, exploring wild places with my family and teaching my children about animals. We live on a large plot of land where a dog would be able to run and play without disturbing our neighbors. Tristina is a full time mom so your furry friend would never be unsupervised and the whole family has experience as long time pet owners. Allen works 4 pm to midnight and is usually home most of the day and Tristina is usually at home so the your fur baby would almost never be left alone. Our home has to stay foster care compliant so it is always a safe environment for your pets. We have completed dog training classes with our dog and know ways to make them feel comfortable in our home as well as mentally and physically stimulated.

About: I’ve had a cat in my home since I was 2 years old. I spent the last year walking for a dog-walking/ pet care company that included drop in visits for cats, and I was frequently told that the cat probably wouldn’t come out because it was too shy, but I made fast friends with them all! :)

I understand the importance of taking care of a pet as a member of the family!
About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

“Cyd is an excellent pet sitter. Her love for pets is obvious the first moments you meet her. She is a true treasure and will take excellent care of your pet! She listens well and asks questions too. Her attention to detail is wonderful. Highly recommended!”

About: Hi! my name is Alondra and i’m 19. I’ve been taking care of dogs for about 10 years, ever since I was little. I’ve always had dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable with all the responsibilities that come with them, including walking, feeding, bathing, and overall daily care. I’ve also helped take care of family members’ pets, so I’m used to adapting to different routines and needs. I have experience with all types of dogs; puppies, senior dogs, small breeds, and large breeds. I truly enjoy being around dogs and treat every pet with love, patience, and attention like they’re my own. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your dog plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I also stay active in my daily life, so walks or runs with your dog would be something I genuinely enjoy. I have a fenced yard where your dog can safely play and get fresh air. I make sure every pet feels comfortable, secure, and cared for at all times. I’m also very responsible and will follow any specific instructions you provide, including feeding routines or medications. I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while your pet is with me.
“Try one of the best dog sitters we have had. We did a meet and greet and Courtney made me feel very welcomed and safe. It can be hard to find a rover you truly trust and I can say with confidence that you can trust Courtney. She worked with me and my crazy nursing schedule and communicated very fast with me. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!
“Fantastic Sitter! Safe quiet neighborhood to walk dogs around. Annie was very kind and attentive to my dogs special requests. They had a great time playing ball together!”

About: I've loved dogs my whole life! When I was born my mom had a chocolate lab and a doberman. Then my dad got a rescue pitbull and a husky mix. Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t like me! I just graduated esthetician school and I’m currently starting my business. Everything I make on rover goes towards my career! Im currently starting my entrepreneurial journey. Right now I’m a full time pet care giver. I also work a weekend night job. I do not have a set schedule so I have open availability. I prefer to care for pets in my home but I’m always happy to accommodate whatever the client needs. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for play and accessible paths for walks. During sittings I make sure to not only take great care of the pet but the clients home as well.
“Our experience with Paloma has been great!!!! She is super nice and sweet to my pup, Chloe. We are using her for two weekends in a row while we are visiting Tucson. I would recommend Paloma to anyone needing pet sitting in Tucson!”

“Barbara was so kind and easy to work with. She sent pictures and updates of our pup throughout his stay which made me feel relaxed knowing he was safe and having a good time. He got play time and walks and was tuckered out when he got home. It was clear Barbara enjoys what she is doing, which really makes a difference. Will definitely be a repeat customer.”

About: When I moved into my house in 2018, one of my first priorities was to get a dog. Recently, Addie, who spent the past 7 years with me, had to be put down unexpectedly. I miss her a ton, and I would love to open my home to another dog (the yard just calls out for it), but I am unable to adopt at the moment for logistical/financial reasons. I would love for your pets and I to keep each other company while I work from home during the day! I am a diligent and reliable person who works remotely as a paralegal, so I always need excuses (whether walks, play, food, snuggles, or just potty breaks) to get up from my desk and move at intervals throughout the work day. I love animals of all kinds - in addition to my own dog, I can submit my friends' pets as references (Mildred the cat likes me better than her owner's wife, and Maggie the dog is obsessed with me while spurning every other friend her owners have). I'm also a birdwatcher and a huge fan of all the wildlife in my yard, from bunnies to lizards. My dog training and medical/senior pet care skills are limited, but I am open to learning and strongly attentive to detail - I will be sure to give your pet what they need. I work from home during the week, with approximate hours of 7 am - 4 pm M-F. On Tuesdays I have appointments in the afternoons, so I will not be available for day care that day. Weekend availability will depend on my plans. I don't have any pets at home currently. I have a screened-in patio with a dog door leading to the fenced-in backyard. When the weather is nice (not too hot), I like to work in the patio. The yard backs onto a wash, so there is a lot of wildlife in the area. Javelinas and coyotes frequent the area but cannot get into the yard. I have seen two rattlesnakes in the yard in 7 years of living here. I would not leave small/medium dogs or cats outside unsupervised. If you give permission, I would feel comfortable leaving large dogs who are snake trained outside while I'm in the house (as I often did with my 80 lb golden doodle).
“Kat has taken care of my large dog on multiple occasions, always treating him with love and patience. He is loving but excitable, and Kat always knows how to calm him and provide him a happy space.”

“Beth is incredibly flexible and communicative. Her home is filled with fun, adorable animals. The meet and greet went wonderfully, as she was welcoming and gave us a tour of her place. We're glad to have found her, especially since she's so close by.”

About: If you know me, you know I love animals! My first job was working at PetsMart PetsHotel! From the tiniest frog to the biggest Great Dane, I love them all. About: I currently work from home and am available for all of your dogs needs from companionship, stimulation and bathroom breaks. I pride myself on being available to the dogs and a present pet parent. I work from home and your pet will be included in my day to day activities as if it were my own. I am very attentive caring and sensitive to the needs of my pets which in turn will make me sensitive to the needs of your pet. The pets in my home are cared for as family, they get free reign of the house, they have full access to my back yard and they are not left alone in the back yard.
About: You may have noticed from my profile an extended gap in my Rover activity due to my relocation from Columbus, Ohio now to Tucson, AZ. I have resided in Arizona for almost 2 years now and have decided to continue with Rover. I have 5 years of clinical experience working and interning with numerous veterinarian professionals ranging from canine to bovine species. I have worked with special needs animals that require assisted walks, special medication and working with elderly, blind, and deaf animals. I currently have my dog, Angel, and my cat, Nefertari. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over 4 years and have encountered many different personalities and schedules that each animal is on. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. I am currently working from home full time which allows me to keep an eye on your fur babies during my normal week day . Your pets will be well cared for in my home as I will accommodate to their schedules as best as possible. Pets are welcome to sleep on the furniture and are not normally crated so if your pet is crate-trained you may want to bring theirs while staying in my home. If I do need to leave the animals at home alone, I set up baby gates to keep pets from different homes separate.
“Iam so happy I found slyvie! Snowie and I are so happy with her service and even tho is hard to leave my baby I know she is in amazing hands and having fun ♥️ I received so many pictures and I loved that thank you slyvie for taking snowie in”

“Chris was wonderful with Ziggy! We received pics and even a video! Ziggy was picked up and immediately fell asleep a happy pup! We look forward to booking with Chris again.”

“Savanna truly cares about my pets. I fully trust her to handle my reactive dogs when she is out adventuring around with them. We look forward to seeing her again next week when she walks our boys.”

About: I have experience with animals of all sizes! Most important to me is that I provide a safe and attentive environment. For high energy dogs we have a large backyard and trails around our house! I am able to walk and/or run them if requested. For lazy dogs, we have lots of surfaces to lay on and love to cuddle! (Only if they want, of course) Other than running some errands or taking my son on a play date I am able to be home taking care of the dogs :) I will follow your requests for all types of visits. My main concern is that your pet(s) are happy and well cared for regardless of if they are in my house or yours.
About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. I've also grown up around horses and farm animals, and I even had a leopard gecko for a couple years. Most of my friends and family have dogs too, so I've spent plenty of time around all kinds of personalities and energy levels. Being around animals has always been something I enjoy! I'm a full time college student, so I have lots of extra time to care for your beloved companions! I have my own transportation and extremely flexible times. I live in an apartment with my Belgian Malinois, so I know firsthand how important exercise, structure, and routine can be, especially for high-energy dogs! I'm very organized and always do my best to stick to each pet's normal schedule so they feel comfortable and at home.
About: I’ve always been that person who helps out with family pets just because I love taking care of them. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. This means i can adjust my availability based on your pets' needs, whether it's check-ins throughout the day or last minute help. I do not do stays in my own home at the moment as my dog is not always good with other dogs/animals, but I am able to make it out to you to do care in your own home. I learn quickly, and i use this to my advantage as i learn to give each pet their best individualized care.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and I also learned how to care for them at a young age. I’m very patient with animals and I also learned how to train my own dogs. In the beginning, it was harder to potty train them but I learned a lot of patience with them. It’s important to give animals your attention especially when they’re learning to do something new. I am looking for other part time jobs but at this moment my main focus is with Rover. I’m available almost any day and time you might need me. I’m currently renting at a home and there is no fence but I can definitely take the fur babies out for walks frequently. It’s no problem having them inside and I’m very respectful when going to other people’s homes as well.
About: We welcome all fur babies into our home becauses all fur babies deserve the best! My husband Mike is a huge pet lover as well and is always looking out for what's best and how to make them feel comfortable on their stay. During the stay they can expect tons of play time in our huge back yard, long walks around our quiet neighborhood and lots and lots of love! ( Did I mention treats??) I do not sleep until I feel that your fur baby is calm and relaxed. I will provide massages if needed! :) Remember that sometimes our fur babies experience anxiety when parents leave, so please bring a familiar blanket or t-shirt along with a favorite toy to help calm your doggy. Our home is nothing fancy but it's clean and it's ours and we would love to share it with you! So much play time and nap time wanted!! If you don't want to run & play you are welcome to nap on my couch or cozy chair. My bed is nice also, just make sure to wipe your paw-paws. ;) We miss our "doggy baby boy", (passed in 2010) we taught him to fetch the morning paper and all kinds of tricks. Such a friendly doggy he was. I would like to put my love towards other dogs that need babysitting when their humans are away, let them know that I will provide them with safety and fun, hugs, kisses and don't forget the butt scratches! So don't worry parents your sweet lil fur babies will have a great time!

“My dog is wary of new people and new things, but she took to Thomas right away. Thomas has given her a variety of experiences and activities to spice up her day, and she always comes home happy and ready to relax for a while.”

“Lucy is terrific! My dog has a great time with her and loved his morning walks. Lucy seems very knowledgeable about dogs and was caring and calm around my very bouncy golden retriever! Murphy and I can’t wait to have Lucy come to our house again!”

About: I've been dog sitting for 2 years. I've always had a dog or 2 with me as companions and best friends. I have trained dogs from pups and have rescued dogs. I love having a dog pack around the house. Dogs bring me joy and make me laugh. I'm good with meds and can give shots. I work part-time so I'm not around 24/7 so you're pouch will have to be good staying alone with the house Dogs for a few hours a day. I take the dogs for a walk or hike daily. Im retired at home full time so I'll have plenty of time for walking feeding and going to the dog park! Im a snowbird so I will be out of state from May until October. I have a fenced backyard and I watch the dogs when they are out back. I walk my dogs twice a day and go to a near by dog park often so they can run and play!
About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve had up to three dogs of my own at once (plus cats and even farm animals!), so I’m comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines all at once. I’ve worked on a farm and volunteered at a local animal shelter, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all temperaments — from energetic and playful to shy or nervous. Those experiences taught me patience, consistency, and how important it is to make animals feel safe. I’ve dog sat for friends and family many times, and always treat their pets like they’re my own. Whether your dog needs long walks and playtime, a calm and gentle approach, or help taking oral medication, I’m focused on making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re feel confident they’re in good hands (I’m happy to give frequent updates!) I mostly have walk times available in the afternoon- 3:30pm and after. Saturday-Monday I have more availability (all day) for walks and visits! Communication is key to success and I am happy to try and make things work. I like to walk (or run) at whatever pace your dog sets, ensuring they get plenty of breaks to drink or rest as needed! Lots of attention and play is my specialty, but I also can appreciate some dogs and cats needing their space and can recognize when they just want to relax on their own. If you like updates with pictures of your fur baby, I’m your gal! You’ll be sure to stay in touch with how your pup is enjoying their walk or dinner with a picture or two.
About: I am a pet owner and I foster dogs with different personalities and backgrounds. I am always patient with the animals in my care and consider their different experiences with caution. Currently, I am working towards a degree in animal sciences and have taken care of puppies and kittens from 1 day old to 18 years old. I love every animal I meet and will care for your pet as if they were my own! I am currently a full-time student and work part time making me available most weekends. I try my best to keep my schedule open to please the owners convince. “Courtney and family were wonderful! My little girl was treated with lots of love and kindness and I am sure she enjoyed all the attention she got. I felt very comfortable leaving her with this great family, and I look forward to Precious having another visit with Courtney and family....they are "outstanding" .”
