“Christy, Louie, and Bandit we’re wonderful hosts. I needed to go out of town for the day and this was my first time using Rover. Traditional dog daycares seem to make Mungo nervous and this was a much better arrangement. Christy was so kind and we were able to do a quick meet and greet in advance. I knew immediately that Mungo would be comfortable with her. It was a huge relief knowing that the dog was happy and well cared for while I was gone. Many thanks!”

Emma P.
“Emma is the biggest animal lover I know. She has watched my dog before and has had dogs of her own all growing up. She has never been nothing but caring and compassionate for these dogs. She treats every dog like her own.”

Jess & Anthony L.

“Freddy had a great time with Jess! I really appreciated the photo/video updates, and he was exhausted after a long day of fetch in her yard. :) Thank you, Jess!”

Richard T.

“Buster had a blast with the dogs in the yard. He was all doggie smiles when we picked him up! On top of that, I booked for the wrong day and Richard was nothing but nice about it, and completely accommodating. We’ll be back when we come through Pittsburgh again.”

Brian B.

“My dog Bruno spent the day with Brian, his wife, and their dog Hanks. Brian kept me updated and sent me videos and pictures of the dogs playing. He was very responsive throughout the process. Bruno had a great time and we will be back!”

Samatha S.
“Samantha would be a perfect fit to be a dog sitter. She has dogs of her own and she loves them. She treats them with respect and as if they were a fellow human being. She provides constant attention to the dog and keeps a good eye on them. Leaving Sam with your dogs while you need to go out and run errands or even a date night would be the right choice.”

Hannah C.
“Hannah took good care of my puppy. We were sightseeing in the area and she took care of Charly for two days. She sent updates and pics throughout the day of outside activities and his daily water/food intake. Will definitely use her again if we are visiting the area!”

About: I have taken care of animals of all sorts since I was 10 years old. I worked for Fetch Pet Care for years prior to and during college & I loved it. I also have 10+ years experience volunteering with various animal rescues. I take pride in loving on your animal the same way you would while you’re not there! I’m a photographer as well and love taking pictures of furbabies and sending it to their people I’m currently working from home, so I have a lot of free time to walk and watch your pups (or kitties!) My schedule is flexible and can accommodate pretty much any time(s) you need for walks or drop-ins. I have some availability to watch your kitty or small dog in my home if they get along with cats, I have 3 to keep them company! I do also have a spare bedroom that they could have to themselves if that is a better fit. I’m happy to work with you to help in whatever way I can!

About: I have experience with all varieties of dogs and am confident handling elders, puppies, dogs with meds, anxious pups, and anything in between! Over the past two decades of my life I've helped care for a number of dogs over a variety of ages, as well as helped provide training. I believe every person who has trusted with their animal has not regretted that decision. I love every dog I meet like it is my own. My schedule is extremely flexible but I am a night owl by nature and prefer non morning walks. I am available during the week and most weekends, and I can provide care in my home with fairly short notice. My home is extremely dog friendly with a fenced-in yard and many toys. I also have a lot of hiding spaces for friends that need time to adjust. My partner and I currently live in a communal living space, but we have our own separate living space so there's lots of room to run around. Other dogs live in the home, however, they are all dog friendly and your dog can be kept in my room if necessary. We also have a ton of stairs on our property, so please consider that if that's a concern. Other than that, I have years of experience in dog behavior and strive to provide the best experience I can for your fur friend. I promise that your dog will never be uncomfortable with me!

Becca H.

“Becca and Stephan were amazing! They were willing to accept all the special requests and I felt comfortable leaving my dog with them. Poe is looking forward to seeing them again today!”

Shannon S.

“Shannon met Haggis and I and was willing to show where he would be staying immediately. She has a nice fenced in area and took photos of him during his stay. She was accommodating to a nervous dog. This was the first time he was away from my side since I got him at 8 weeks old. Highly recommend.”

Jacqui S.
“Jacqui has an incredible and steadfast dedication to all animals. She consistently goes above and beyond to support any animal that she in the presence of. She holds us all to high standards when it comes to the care of animals and their wellbeing. So many people look to her to care for their animals when they are away! I would highly recommend her to be a sitter, I can't think of anyone better suited for the role!”

Brittany B.
“Brittany has watched my needy dogs (3 pills a day each and frequent bathroom breaks) on multiple occasions and they are smitten with her! Brittany has a very calming presence and clearly cares about animals.”

Charlotte N.

“Charlotte was great! She was communicative and didn't make me wait when picking up or dropping off. Her location was convenient and Charlie seemed to like her. She did a fantastic job and I'd have her watch him again.”

Kayla H.
About: Hi there! My name is Kayla and for the past decade I have personally owned 7 dogs and 2 cats. As well as worked with my Aunt who rescues animals from as close to Pittsburgh and as far away as China! I work with her to re-home fosters even though many have become foster fails on my part! Lol I truly love animals and will treat them like they are my very own fur children. You can trust I will take great care and make your pets miss you a little less while you’re gone! I work as a online personal trainer and fitness coach so I am able to work pretty flexible hours to meet your needs! I make my own hours so with enough notice, I can easily move my schedule around as needed. I live right across the street from a park to play in and for potty breaks! As well as a grass pad on my deck that is functional for smaller/medium sized dogs. I live in 3 bedroom apartment and have lots of room to board dogs who are crate trained as well as non crate trained dogs/cats.
