Stephen and Wanda just effortlessly picks up where we leave and continue with everything as we would. We choose house sitting as that is the least disruptive for the animals and Wanda and Stephen looks after our place as if it was their own. About: I am a total mush for dogs. I've taken care of dogs of all kinds and sizes since I was a teenager. I will treat your dog and love them like I do my own. I work from home, so they will not be left alone. Since I will be home, I also will have plenty of time for walks and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard as well as live beside a dog park. I have one dog myself, so your dog will also have a friend to play with. I am able to crate a dog if that is the ask as well.

“Stephanie did a fantastic job. My cat is very shy, but she made him feel so comfortable he crawled into her arms and let her hold him like a baby after less than 24 hours. He has never done that for anyone but me before! Cats are a good judge of character, and his comfort with her speaks well of the kind of person she is. It was a better outcome than I could have expected or hoped for. My dog had a great time with her too. He was skunked right before my trip and I couldn't fully get the smell out, but she took it in stride. He is a lapdog through and through so I am glad that didn't deter her from snuggling up with him. She gave him cuddles and comforted him when he was nervous about fireworks on the fourth of July. My flight coming back was delayed significantly, and she stayed an extra half day to take care of my boys. She was willing to stay with them longer, but thankfully it did not turn out to be needed. She was responsive, personable, and gave me regular updates. My instructions were followed to a T and my animals loved her. I am very grateful to have found someone trustworthy to look after my pets and will definitely book with her again!”

About: I’ve volunteered at many animals shelters, worked on farms, and been a pet sitter for many family and friends. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of all different sizes, absolutely love animals and don’t worry your babies will get lots of love!! I do school online so I have plenty of time to take your babies out or check on them as needed! I keep my calendar updated so if it’s open I’m available! I have a friendly dog that could keep your pup company during the day and a fenced in yard. I have no problem staying the night with your dog if needed!

About: I have been around all kind of pets since I was 6 and I am good with getting them up and playing and making sure they move and get exercise! I am currently on the hunt for a job as I just moved to Virginia but I can always work around my schedule to get people the pet care they need In my clients home, I will follow the rules they have set in stone and the way they want things done with their pets as everyone is different about how they would like things done.

About: I have had dogs my entire life including all different breeds and ages, I have also grown up in Roanoke and am comfortable and familiar with the area and looking to help out whenever needed! I currently work on Fridays all day at the hospital with taking classes from 8am-12pm Mon-Thurs with my weekends usually free! I am pretty much available anytime after 12pm and before 8am on weekdays other than Fridays! I have a sweet 8yr old Terrier that is my best friend. We have a fenced back yard for her to get exercise and we gone on our daily walks in the neighborhoods!

About: I have a long history in pet sitting, as well volunteer rescue work and veterinary and grooming services. I'm dedicated to making all of the animals I care for part of my family. I have experience with all different sizes, temperaments, and medical requirements. I have a soft spot for the shy, misunderstood, and elderly pets I encounter: they always turn out to be the ones I learn the most from. I'm a traveler and work remote so my schedule is flexible to accommodate whatever your pets' needs are. I am sometimes out of town for a day or two visiting my home town. I believe in keeping a calm, clean environment for all my animal friends. In addition to daily needs, I can also provide any grooming needs that may arise during our time together.
