I am a veterinary assistant working at McClelland Small Animal Hospital, and I’m pet sitting not only due to my love of animals, but to use the extra funds to help pay for my dream wedding! I’ve had pets my entire life, and I’m so fortunate to be able to help care for others' pets every day. I will love and treat your critters like they are my own, as taking care of animals is truly my passion. I currently work full time at an animal hospital and own 3 dogs, 2 cats, a crab, and even a jumping spider, so pet care is truly second nature to me. When I’m entrusted in caring for your pet and your home, I will be there all night and in the morning before I head into work. I will check on them during my lunch hour so they can have a potty break, lunch (if needed), play time, cuddles, and plenty of attention, before I'm back with them right after my work day. I'm always incredibly respectful of my clients homes, ensuring things are just as neat and tidy (if not more so) than they were when I arrived. Mail will be brought in, trash taken out, and bed linens cleaned. You're on a vacation, why worry about cleaning up when you get home?! The animal hospital I work for has a boarding facility for dogs and cats. When I’m not caring for others pets at work, I’m tending to my menagerie at home! As the owner of pets who have trouble being removed from their “safe space,” you can rest easy knowing that your pets will receive plenty of love and care in the place they feel the most comfortable. During a meet and greet, I come prepared with an information sheet to fill out so that I can make sure I cater to each pets specific needs. Everything from feeding times, food sensitivities, and jotting down your pets favorite toys and activities!

I’ve also cared for cats my whole life, so I’m comfortable with both. I have flexibility for drop-ins and walks on weekdays and more availability on weekends. And since my own dog is all 12, I know how to adjust pace and attention for older pets — happy to tailor visits to your senior pet needs. Drop-In Visits: I stick to your pet’s normal routine: feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and some playtime or cuddles, all in the comfort of their own home. I follow any care instructions you leave (medications, feeding amounts, favorite toys) exactly as written. Dog Walking: I match the pace and route to your dog’s energy and age; brisk exercise for active pups, slower sniff-walks for seniors. I always have waste bags on hand and check in with a photo update after each walk. For both, I treat your home with respect (doors locked, alarm set if needed) and your pet like my own.

About: I've grown up with pets my entire life and have had 2 of my own dogs. They both had medical issues so I am very familiar with administering medications and preparing special meals. My home is currently pet-free and I would be so happy to spend time with your dog while you're away. I have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I currently work part time and always have Wednesdays and Fridays-Sundays off. I also have some Tuesdays off, and if I do work on Tuesdays it is only from 8-2. Mondays can be discussed. My house has a fully fenced in backyard and I never leave dogs outside unattended. Dogs are welcome to snuggle on my furniture and in bed with me if they like. If your dog is crate trained, feel free to bring their crate or I have a large one they can use. There are no other dogs or children in my home so your dog gets my full attention!

About: I have taken care of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments! I was once responsible for the livestock on a small farm in Holland. Cows, pigs, chickens, horses, and more. I seriously love all animals! I especially love how dogs see the world, and I do everything I can to give my own pupper the life he deserves❤️ I have a fixed weekly schedule. The only full days I am not available are Fridays and Saturdays. (I'm a bartender) But I am almost always available the following days/times- Sunday: all day Monday: 8am-3pm Tuesday: all day Wednesday: 8am-3pm Thursday: all day Your pet's safety is my top priority. I always double check EVERYTHING. Doors, gates, locks, harness/leash connections, my dog even wears a seatbelt in the car. I don't mess around.

I have lot of experience with walking, medicating, and playing with pups or just keeping them company. I currently work M-F 8-4, my evenings and weekends are free for me to take care of your furry friends and give them some love. I’m able to walk your pets in their desired areas or play in their yards as well as maintain any routines or schedules they are use too.
