About: I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. I have also briefly owned horses building the skillset of hygiene care for larger animals. I absolutely love dogs. I have had experience with small dogs all the way up to English Mastiff and Ridgeback sizes. I have been a helpful pet sitter for many family members and some friends. I absolutely love animals and plan to incorporate them into my therapeutic process with clients in the future. Please send them my way and I will give them all the love and empathy while you're away and as needed! I am a graduate student with an internship which entails the need for a daily routine. I am more flexible for weekends and holidays, and I am also willing to make other days work given enough time notice in advance. I love to be outside year-round, especially fall and winter, so I will be active with animals in snow/cold or sunshine which means walks and playing! I have three cats who have everything they need including love and grooming! I have a three-legged cat who requires more care for hygiene and grooming, so he gets lion cuts every so often. All of my cats get treats and are spoiled with love. I am flexible and willing to work around whatever is needed for safety and the environment. I would prefer to do house visits and drop-ins to feed/let outside, etc. I would need to be provided equipment like leashes, crates, food bowls, food, etc. I do not want to disrupt your pet's routine or familiarity of their own materials.

“This was my first time using Rover, and I chose Sarah specifically because she has so many repeat customers, and it's easy to see why! My cat normally hides from strangers, but walked right up to Sarah at our meet-and-greet. The biggest thing for me was, there was a huge snowstorm coming while we were gone, and Sarah made sure to come over extra early on the day the storm was due to hit, to make sure our kitty had more than enough food and water to last her a bit longer if needed. And it WAS needed, the storm was so bad there was a travel ban put in place for days, but because of Sarah's pre-planning our kitty did just fine until we could get home to her two days later. Sarah, I can't thank you enough!”

About: I’ve always had a lot of dogs in my growing up, and have had to help take care of them. For the last 3 years I’ve dog sat for multiple different families. I am currently working full time day shift. I have plenty of time in the afternoon on weekdays to walk dogs and also have a lot of availability on the weekends. About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. He now works as a facility dog at Dayton Children's Hospital. Since graduating, I remain involved with pet sitting for family and friends. I have sat my boss's daughter's cats (interesting, I know) and my aunt's puppy for a week. I love taking pictures of any and all animals, so expect photo updates often! I currently am a first year medical student here in Buffalo. Class is usually over by mid-day during most week days, making me very available for a walk or drop in visit. Furthermore, my weekends are pretty open for the time being, so I'd love to keep your pets company as a house sitter and have a relaxing (or active) weekend with them. I am very observant when it comes to things that are potentially harmful in reach of the pet. I will ensure your pet does not get into anything they shouldn't! Also, I have experience with ensuring dogs are safe in their kennel prior to leaving so your fur baby and home are safe.

About: I love getting to know each individual pet’s personality and needs, and approach them with respect to make them feel comfortable and safe. I have many years of experience with animals who need insulin shots and oral medications, and experience with all ages. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! At home, I have a tripod husky and a cat who has traveled far with me. I go on miles-long walks every day… always with dog treats in my pockets :) I'm currently working from home setting my own schedule, so walking your dog would fit well into my day. If you live near me, an overnight at your place is possible as I like to give my Stormy cat her breakfast and outside grass time by mid morn. I have lots of cat toys in my house for my cat. I hope your dog has toys and if it's just a walk, then a good leash and baggies to collect poop are essential. I am all about fresh water and seeing that their space is just how they like it.

About: I have taken care of my own family dogs and cats for my whole childhood and adulthood life. I have been given the experience of watching my neighbors and friends' pets. It has ranged from hamsters to dogs. I also have experience with training and watching after puppies. I work full-time as a teacher so am home by midafternoon. I take a mile walk before I leave for work and when I get back, so your pet will receive adequate exercise and stimulation. I have a dog to keep your furry friend company! He is very calm and loves other animals. I have space if your animal needs separation or to be crated for any reason.

About: I’ve had both dogs and cats since I was 2 years old so I grew up learning to love and take care of animals! Aside from my home, I grew up around my aunt’s farm where we have anything from donkeys to chickens. It’s safe to say I’ve always been an animal lover! I’ve experienced anything from typical pet routines to those with special needs that require extra care and attention. I have experience with both puppies/kittens as well as senior pets and I love dogs of all breeds and sizes! I’ve been pet sitting for others through friends and family for about 3 years since I started college and thought I’d give Rover a try! I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of extra time to care for your pet! I am available mornings, nights, and weekends. Overnight care would need an advanced notice. My goal is to customize my care to fit your needs, wants, and requests. I know leaving your furry friends at home is never easy so I try my best to make that process as comfortable as possible for both pet and owner. Following your pets normal routine is my priority so they can enjoy their stay and you can enjoy your time away!
