“I could not have asked for better care for my cat while I was gone. Juyne took great care of him and communicated so well that I never had to wonder about the big fluffball. Thank you so much to you both, Juyne!”

“Elizabeth was great and took care of my fur babies while I had an overnight stay out of town. Very responsive and great with my animals! Even sent pictures of them at every drop in. Will definitely reach out for other future pet care needs!”

“Katelynn took good care of our two cats while we were away for over a week. She kept things as normal as possible for them and it was nice to come home to a clean house with happy fur babies! I hope she’s available the next time we need someone. Thank you Katelynn!”

“Melanie did a great job taking care of our Allie cat while we were away. This was our first time using Rover, and Melanie proved to be responsible, reliable and caring - her daily updates allowed us to relax and not worry about home. We’ll definitely book her again!”

About: From a young age, I have always had a deep love and appreciation for animals. Throughout my life, I’ve cared for a variety of pets, including bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, dogs, and cats. Being around animals brings me genuine joy and fulfillment. As a dedicated pet parent myself, I understand the importance of providing attentive, compassionate care. I treat every animal as if they were my own, ensuring their comfort, safety, and happiness at all times. Whether administering medication, maintaining feeding schedules, or offering extra affection, I’m committed to meeting each pet’s individual needs. My experience includes walking dogs, providing personalized attention, engaging in playtime, feeding, and offering companionship to help pets feel secure and loved while their families are away. As a stay-at-home pet mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets the dedicated time, care, and attention they deserve each day. I live in an apartment, so I don’t offer pet sitting in my own home, but I’m more than happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home. I believe animals feel most secure in their familiar space, and I always do my best to make sure they feel loved, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

“I had some last minute requests on this past trip and Nicole was great about working all that out. She has been a great sitter and we will miss her when we move away in a few months.”

“Shyanne was so easy to work with and did a great job dropping in on our dog. I loved the picture update she provided during her drop in. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: New to the Huntsville area! I’ve grown up having pets all my life and even have a cat of my own now! I love animals and having the opportunity to help another pet parent when life gets a bit too busy. I’m here for you! I’m currently self-employed so I’m available anytime for your pet needs. I’m very go with the flow and willing to adjust to your schedule to provide the best service for you and your pet. I live in an apartment with my cat who is very friendly and gets along with other cats. I don’t have much space for large animals.
About: Being a past owner of a beautiful border collie mix (the pup in my profile) my skills for high energy dogs and keeping up with their schedules became a necessary skill. I love animals in general, but dogs have captivated my heart. I do well with timid, aggressive, and let's be honest stubborn dogs. I love being outside and walking around town with an adorable dog on my side. This is so I can get some puppy love back in my life and help you with spoiling and exercising your fur baby when your schedules get a little busy. I'm looking to get more experience caring for others' animals to maybe someday extend just a service into an actual business. I want your animal to be treated on the same level as you would be treated checking and staying at a hotel. I know how important an animal is to a house hold, and how as much as we would love to stay and play all day life calls. Let me keep your mind at ease when it comes to your 4 legged family member. I am a Stay at Home Mom. I am up before the sun and find myself finding places to walk with my little one. Somedays we go adventuring with our German Shepard or just enjoy playing with him in our backyard. Weekends we spend in town with our family. Not many days where we are not too far from Madison or Huntsville. I have two cats and a German Shepard so coming to your pets' comfort place is the best means of me taking care of your animals.
About: I have grown up caring for and loving animals my entire life! I believe they have helped shape who I am and encourage me to work with all types of animals, big or small, energetic or timid, and even "difficult" pets. I have helped raise puppies and kittens, but currently my pets have aged like fine wine and have entered their elderly era. My experience consists of owning pets myself, pet sitting for friends and family, and soon I will be volunteering at a local shelter. I also plan on majoring in Animal Sciences in the future. I currently work a part-time job and we are in our slow season. I am available for last minute visits and walks and would in fact be delighted to spend my time with your pets. I have a keen eye for detail when it comes to potential hazards and make it a point to ensure accidents are minimalized. Whether it's tidying up to ensure your pet has space for their zoomies or regular potty breaks and mealtimes, I ensure they are looked out for and taken care of as if they were my own.

About: I’ve grown up in a house full of dogs and still spend a lot of time caring for them today, including German Shepherds, so I’m comfortable handling larger, high-energy breeds. My family jokes that I’m the “dog whisperer” because animals tend to warm up to me quickly. I’ve helped care for both my own dogs and others whenever needed, and I truly love being around animals. I’m currently an online college student, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give pets lots of attention and care. I’m currently doing online college, so my schedule is very flexible and gives me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available most weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and spending quality time with your pets to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I currently live in a spacious apartment with plenty of walking areas nearby for exercise and potty breaks. I always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for in a calm and safe environment. I’ll follow any routines or instructions closely so your pet feels as at home as possible while you’re away. 🐾
About: I am very meticulous. I have experience giving medicine to pets. I will treat your babies like my own. I understand the anxiety of leaving pets alone. I use rover for my kitty as well! I am currently only in school so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have my own vehicle so I can travel easily to your destination. I don't currently offer any at home services. I am willing to take care of your pet at your home. I do not think my home is well equipped enough to take care of your pet.
“This was our first time using Rover and the first time our pets were going to be cared for my someone other than family so I was very nervous. Amber did an excellent job explaining Rover's policies and procedures. She made my fur babies feel so loved during the meet and greet and calmed my anxiousness. Our pets were very well cared for during their drop in visits and we will definitely book again!”

About: I have been the designated dog and cat sitter in my family since I was 13 years old and have loved it! I’ve always had a deep love for animals and will be going to Auburn for their College of Veterinary Medicine in the Fall of this year. I currently work as a veterinary technician and have four years of experience. If any of your pets have needs such as medicating, or any special behavioral instructions I should be able to handle them. Pet sitting and dog walking would be a great way for me to earn a couple extra dollars a month, and be able to help out the animals who need walks throughout the day and daily care when their owners are away. I’m working part time at my current job and a full time student. I’m completely free during the weekends to do daily walks and play dates, but during the week I’m limited to morning check ins and evening only play time. With my own dog at home I crate him while there is no one home due his tendency to get into things he shouldn’t. If you prefer your dog to be crated while no one is home I’m perfectly okay with doing so as long as I’m allowed to take off any collars they may have on to prevent snagging while away. I also like to provide a bowl of water with the dog inside of the crate to allow them to hydrate while I’m away. If you would prefer your dog to not be crated then I’m okay with that as well.
Triana cat parents share their Rover experiences
Cat was super happy to see us and looked very healthy. Tabitha did as good a job as Cat would let her do in showing us a daily picture. (Cat’s a master hider) Tabitha also helped out when our fridge’s breaker went off and turned the breaker back on for us. Lifesaver. Great lady!
