“Danita was a perfect host for the day for my Tessa! They seemed to bond instantly and when I picked Tessa up, she was glad to see me but actually ran back up to Damita's door before I got her in the car as to say "goodbye" one more time. They took a walk and Danita has a beautiful home up on a mountain with a fenced yard so Tessa could enjoy the sights and sounds of the mountains as well. She also has other dogs and a cat so ur pet can have playmates. Unfortunately. I was held up in the Pigeon Forge traffic and was very late picking Tessa up, but Danita didn't make me feel bad about it. She was very understanding. She is great with communicating about your pet and sent some truly beautiful pics of my Tessa during her visit. Danita is a very kind and pleasant person and so is her boyfriend. They are truly pet loving people and I couldn't have found a better daycare arrangement for out trip to the Smokies. You won't be disappointed!!! Thank you Danita❤️”

About: I'm available Mon-Sun!!! I have over 40 years experience, walking, training, taking care of dogs, giving medication. I've been rescuing for years and was a Petco groomer for a little while. I'm responsible and very loving to all dogs to all animals. Being responsible to you I will always be in contact with you through the phone and send pictures of the walks, and or the stay with me. I've taken care of my own and took care of Teddy and Sammy until they passed naturally with cancer. I have Nero and Feisty now. I've also taken care of friends and my families dogs for over 40 years. I walk my dogs every day even when it was cold out for many years. I understand how important it is for a dog to be walked, it's best for their health. I've rescued all my dogs, and have been devoted to the end. My home is clean and spacious, I leash my dog every time he goes out, as I would yours. I have a natural affection and love for all dogs. I take this position seriously, your dog is family and safe with me. I'm not working full time now, so I have the time to devote to you pup or cat. Please give me a days notice. Since we are in heavy tick and flea season please make sure your pup doesn't have any and is treated in case. Thank you I have a backyard with a tether, I go for walks in my neighborhood with mine every day. I'm right by a park and take pups there too.

I know how important it is that you have a reliable, caring sitter for your fur babies & home while you're away. I previously cared for my own 90-lb dog who had allergies, chronic ear infections, high anxiety, and later bone cancer, so I’m very familiar with special-needs care, medications, and helping pets feel safe and comforted through anything. I’m patient with anxious or sensitive pets, and I understand how much they miss their humans when you’re away. <3 I’m happy to take active pups on long runs, go for slow sniff walks, or just offer cuddles and company. I’m also comfortable handling dogs that pull or never quite figured out leash manners. I’m not a trainer, but I can keep them safe and in hand. :) Just tell me what your pet needs, and I’ll follow their routine to keep them comfortable, happy, and cared for. Your pet gets my full attention, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and tons of photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I offer dog walking, 30-90min drop in visits for dogs and cats (all sizes and ages, I love em all!), and boarding dogs in my apartment. I do not do house sitting (staying in your home overnight), or boarding cats at my home (sadly, my husband is super allergic to cats.) But I know a few awesome people that do, so feel free to reach out if you are having trouble finding a great house sitter! I do this full time, so I’m able to provide frequent walks, playtime, and check-ins. I make sure to communicate expectations clearly so each pet gets consistent attention and care. I never overbook myself, so your pet always gets plenty of one-on-one time. Safety and comfort come first. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their exact routines and respect their space. I double-check that doors and gates are secure, can clean up after pets as needed, and make sure each pet feels safe while you’re away. I'll send plenty of updates and photos so you always know how things are going. And if you need a plant watered, a fish or small animal cared for, or some quick household chores taken care of, please just let me know! We can discuss pricing based on what you need. :)
