“Danita was so great with us and our dog Lady! It was the first time we were leaving her with a sitter at their house, and because of all the traumatic things Lady’s gone through in her past before being rehomed with us I am extra protective of her. I also have a lot of dog work experience so I was excited to see Danita’s profile and knew Lady would be in good hands. Danita sent us photos and updates during her daycare stay and made us feel so at ease. We will definitely be using her again for future daycare stays!!”

“Our boy's stay with Tabatha was just what the doctor ordered. Brinkley needed a play date and some serious socialization. He had three friends to play with, a couple of small kids and a lot if acreage to do it in. We got a much needed day off free from worry or stress about our boy. Tabatha even offered to give him food from her private stores when we decided to stay out later than we had originally planned. We will definitely be using her again.”

“Tracy is absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend her! We were in Pigeon Forge for a baseball tournament and had booked a pet-friendly hotel. Unfortunately, our sweet Grayson experienced severe anxiety at the hotel, and I quickly realized he couldn’t be left alone in the room. Since this was my first time using Rover, I scheduled a meet-and-greet with Tracy. Grayson immediately felt comfortable with her, and so did I. She took him home with her for the day, and he did great. Tracy kept in constant communication and sent pictures throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. We could not have asked for a better experience!”

About: I have loads of experience! From fostering dogs to being a licensed vet tech of 10 years!!! I decided I wanted a different direction and starting my own business and pet sit on the side. I'm loving every second of it! I work from home so taking care of your baby will fit right into my schedule. I can do whatever is needed and more! Just ask! I prefer to care for animals in their homes where they are comfortable, but if they are good with other dogs/peope/ and cats they can come to mine. I have 6bdogs ranging from puppy to senior and 5 cats. They all get along well with other dogs and cats but if one was to join our pack they would have to do the same.

“Pretty Girl had a wonderful time with Reah and her dogs. There was a large yard with high fencing, so I felt very comfortable that Pretty Girl was secure. Reah sent me pictures throughout the day of Pretty Girl relaxing. I especially liked the one of her and Norman (weimaraner) chilling together on the porch sofa. I would highly recommend Reah to anyone looking for a great place for your dog to stay.”

“I highly recommend Kristi for your babies needs. Being new to the area and having a new puppy is exciting and scary. Trusting someone with your baby is hard. She was so comforting to me and gave me regular updates. This was the first time I left Chandler with anyone. She has 2 dogs herself and Frankie is the same breed as Chandler. Dachshunds needs special care and she even had ramps to accommodate their backs. I will definitely use Kristi again.❤️💙🩷”

“Our Bree seemed to be very happy with Zach and family. He took her out a few times and she had playtime, which is important for her with all of her energy. Thank you so much, Zach.”

“Tracey was wonderful caring for Pepper in Gatlinburg. From the very beginning, she had such a warm, caring energy that immediately made us feel comfortable. She welcomed us into her home, which gave us great peace of mind. She kept us updated throughout the stay and made sure Pepper was happy, safe, and comfortable. It’s clear she truly loves dogs and treats them like family. We would absolutely recommend her and would choose her again without hesitation. 🐾💛”

“I feel blessed for having found Jane. My dog came back home so calm and chill, which shows she was loved and not scared. Jane also sent me lots of updates throughout the day. We will definitely go back! Thank you so much”

“Kristy was wonderful with our girl! She sent pictures throughout the day letting us know how she was doing and what she was up to. We had total peace of mind and know that our dog had a great day with great care.”

“We stopped in town for an event and needed dog care and Jenny was so accommodating. She is the go too dog watcher in the Knoxville area for a reason. Loved our dogs and sent us pictures while we we at the event. Thank you Jenny!!!”

“Rachel was so helpful taking care of my sweet puppy even when he wasn’t feeling his greatest the day she had him! She gave regular updates and even offered son advice to help remedy his upset tummy! She is fantastic!”

“Julianne was so wonderful with Andi for doggy day care! Lots of pets, toys, and pictures. Andi got exactly what she needed which was a long nap and snuggles. Julianne was very responsive and easy to work with. Will definitely use her again if ever in town!”

“Meredith is the absolute best! She's so kind and gentle and patient!l - Springsteen enjoyed his time with her and John so much. He had the best time exploring the woods and playing in her very large and fun backyard. Perfect place to spend time with the best dog loving house! Thank you, Meredith, for all the love and attention you provide. Can't wait for Springsteen to come back for more time at Doyle's Den.”

About: I grew up on a farm in rural Appalachia so I have been surrounded by pets of all different types for as long as I can remember. I learned how to care for them very early on in my childhood and that experience fostered my passionate love for all animals. I believe in caring for them, not just as pets, but members of our families. I am flexible with my routine so I can meet the varying needs of the doggies that stay with us. We can discuss more in depth when you inquire to book. I have a spacious, fenced in back yard that is perfect for zoomies and playtime! My home is open and welcoming. I have lots of space for them to hangout or to relax in their kennel.
About: Caring for animals has been a constant joy in my life since childhood, and I bring over 25 years of experience as both a pet owner and sitter. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified, comfortable with oral and injectable medications, and able to accommodate pets with special diets or unique needs. My experience includes caring for puppies who need training and patience, as well as senior pets who require extra gentleness and support. What sets me apart is the home and environment I provide— Our little farm offers space to explore, a secure fenced yard for safe play, and the love of my entire family. With three children who adore animals, every pet gets an abundance of cuddles, companionship, and supervision. I understand how hard it can be to leave your beloved pets, and my goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily life. As a stay-at-home mom, I spend about 80% of my time at home. This allows me to give pets consistent love, attention, and supervision throughout the day. My three children, who are all animal lovers, also enjoy providing extra playtime and cuddles, making sure your pet always feels included and cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on a 2-acres with a secure fenced-in yard for safe, off-leash play and exploration. Pets are never left alone for long periods and are treated like part of our family. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified, experienced in administering medications, and happy to accommodate special diets or crate training if preferred. Our home is filled with love, supervision, and plenty of cozy spots for relaxation so your pet feels secure and happy.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 271 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Cold Springs. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cold Springs commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
