“Before Patrick's multiple stays with Mrs. Tabatha, I was new and little apprehensive to the whole doggie daycare thing. Tabatha immediately made me feel at ease. I trust her completely with the care of my pup. She is knowledgeable and treats the pets as her own. I know Patrick is looking forward to more days spent chasing squirrels in her yard!”
“Great, super easy to work with sitter! She accepted my booking even though drop off was only 12 hours away which was so helpful after another sitter last minute canceled. She also let me change the pickup time last minute which was so appreciated! She sent pics and played with Mo and was just a super easy and great experience! 10/10 recommend for sure! Very nice home and nice neighborhood and just overall great experience!”

He had the best time exploring the woods and playing in her very large and fun backyard. Perfect place to spend time with the best dog loving house! Thank you, Meredith, for all the love and attention you provide. Can't wait for Springsteen to come back for more time at Doyle's Den.”

“Danita was so great with us and our dog Lady! It was the first time we were leaving her with a sitter at their house, and because of all the traumatic things Lady’s gone through in her past before being rehomed with us I am extra protective of her. I also have a lot of dog work experience so I was excited to see Danita’s profile and knew Lady would be in good hands. Danita sent us photos and updates during her daycare stay and made us feel so at ease. We will definitely be using her again for future daycare stays!!”

About: Caring for animals has been a constant joy in my life since childhood, and I bring over 25 years of experience as both a pet owner and sitter. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified, comfortable with oral and injectable medications, and able to accommodate pets with special diets or unique needs. My experience includes caring for puppies who need training and patience, as well as senior pets who require extra gentleness and support. What sets me apart is the home and environment I provide— Our little farm offers space to explore, a secure fenced yard for safe play, and the love of my entire family. With three children who adore animals, every pet gets an abundance of cuddles, companionship, and supervision. I understand how hard it can be to leave your beloved pets, and my goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily life. As a stay-at-home mom, I spend about 80% of my time at home. This allows me to give pets consistent love, attention, and supervision throughout the day. My three children, who are all animal lovers, also enjoy providing extra playtime and cuddles, making sure your pet always feels included and cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on a 2-acres with a secure fenced-in yard for safe, off-leash play and exploration. Pets are never left alone for long periods and are treated like part of our family. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified, experienced in administering medications, and happy to accommodate special diets or crate training if preferred. Our home is filled with love, supervision, and plenty of cozy spots for relaxation so your pet feels secure and happy.
About: Pet care in our home is truly a calling for me. I have over 35 years of experience caring for animals, and I humbly believe God has given me a special gift for working with them. I provide hands-on, attentive care every day, including walking, feeding, basic training reinforcement, and—most importantly—genuine affection and companionship. I offer a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where pets are treated like family, not just clients. I am comfortable working with a wide variety of pets and take the time to understand each animal’s unique needs and personality. Your pet will receive patient, individualized care, plenty of interaction, and a safe, loving place to feel at home while you’re away. Pet care is woven into my daily routine. Between homeschooling our daughter and managing our home and all the projects of our Farm, caring for animals through feeding, walks, training, playtime, and supervision is a consistent, intentional part of every day! I care for pets in our home as if they are part of our family. They receive a safe, calm environment with structured routines that include feeding, walks, playtime, rest, and one-on-one attention. I take time to understand each pet's personality, comfort level, and needs, whether that means active engagement, gentle training, or quiet companionship. Pets are closely supervised, shown patience and kindness, and given plenty of affection so they feel secure, respected, and at home while in my care.
“Braleigh took wonderful care of Friedrich. Her children, dogs, and husband all contributed to making his day special. I was delayed picking him up due to traffic and she was very understanding. Bralieigh sent numerous text updates, pictures and videos throughout the day. She truly went above and beyond! I would not hesitate to have her care for Friedrich again. Dale B”

“You won't find a better family to care for your pups! I happened upon Nikki on this app and I feel like it was fate. Her husband, Mike, their kids and Nikki spent so much time and gave so much love to my Charlie. He is very needy and they were patient, found activities to keep him so happy and also gave him a new bestie. Nugget, their golden retriever, was instantly Charlie's pal. What a sweetheart! Charlie was in a rough spot with separation anxiety and acting very sad and exhausted. 3 days with this family perked him up and gave him new life! I am so thankful!”

“Julianne was so wonderful with Andi for doggy day care! Lots of pets, toys, and pictures. Andi got exactly what she needed which was a long nap and snuggles. Julianne was very responsive and easy to work with. Will definitely use her again if ever in town!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Maryville
Pretty Girl had a wonderful time with Reah and her dogs. There was a large yard with high fencing, so I felt very comfortable that Pretty Girl was secure. Reah sent me pictures throughout the day of Pretty Girl relaxing. I especially liked the one of her and Norman (weimaraner) chilling together on the porch sofa. I would highly recommend Reah to anyone looking for a great place for your dog to stay.

Lacey was very welcoming. Bella is usually a little nervous at first with new people and other dogs but she went right to Lacey and got along great with Lacey’s pup Magnolia. She seemed contented when we picked her up. Would book with Lacey again whenever in or near Maryville.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
