My home is safe and loving and a perfect place for your fur baby while you are away. I do not work outside my home so all fur babies will have my full attention. Lots of play time and cuddling. About: My family is a huge pet family and we have had several dogs of different breeds and sizes, so we are very comfortable with any dog - big or small. We recently adopted a Great Pyr/Pit puppy, Leo, and he is a big goofball. He LOVES other dogs, has had plenty of experience already with our Rover pups and is a big, submissive softie. That being said, he loves to play and wrestle, but if your dog isn't interested he may stare longingly at them from across the room, but will respect their boundaries. My husband and I work from home so we have plenty of time to give your pup attention. We also have 3 kids (9, 7 and 4) who are extremely caring and respectful of animals and they would be thrilled to help care for your pet while you are away. There will be no shortage of snuggles if your pup is a cuddler! And if not, that’s ok too! We teach our kids healthy boundaries and how to respect every dog’s needs. We have a one acre lot with an invisible fence and a quiet neighborhood to take nice long walks. We also have a “step dog,” a 5 year old Golden Retriever, that visits often and would love some new friends to play with. We have a 1 year old cat who has been brought up around all of our Rover pups, so he is very used to new dogs coming into his home. He may play if your dog is interested, but otherwise he will just go about his business and ignore them. We have watched several dogs that had no experience with cats before this and they have all done very well together. We understand each dog is different and would love to chat to see if we would be a good home-away-from-home for your pup! My husband and I both work from home, so we are around during the day to care for your pup. We are available weekdays or weekends and would consider short term care (1-2 days) or longer care if needed! We have a one acre lot and an invisible fence, but understand not all dogs are trained on this and would only use it if your pup has prior experience and ample time to get used to the property and fence at my house. Otherwise, we live in a quiet neighborhood and would love to take your dog on walks or play fetch out in the yard!

About: I'm a passionate dog lover with a special knack for puppy training. I'm also a proud corgi mom, so I know how to handle even the most energetic breeds with patience and love! I'm currently working full time as a phlebotomist, but I have off every Sunday and at least one other week day. Also, every other week I work day shift so I have time to walk your pet if need be in the evenings. All you have to do is ask if I'm available a certain day at least 3 days in advance and I'll be sure to tell you if I can help! I currently live in an apartment and have plenty of space in the living room to set up your dog's bed, crate, food bowls, etc. Plus, if they feel lonely, I have a 1 and a half your old corgi named Clyde who is super friendly and playful. However, if you need your dog to cared for alone, I am able to keep Clyde in a separate area. On another note, if I needed to come to your place to do a drop in visit, please know I would respect your space and follow the instructions you provide.

In a past career I was a veterinary assistant and a grooming assistant. Experienced owner of critters big and small. Our current brood includes a 2 dogs, fish, a horse and 14 chickens. I have cared for newts, hermit crabs, fish, birds, cats, dogs, horses, goats, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, mice, hedgehogs, chinchillas, lizards, rabbits, chickens, and snakes. I understand that your pets are family and care for them as such. While you are gone you can rest assured that your pets will receive the care and attention they deserve. I am willing to care for your other pets for an additional fee should you require this service. There are not many animals that I am uncomfortable with. I work part time and run my pet care business daily in conjunction with my other work schedule. I have a good amount of flexibility available during the work week. Your pets’ safety and security is my top priority. I make a habit of checking gate latches prior to releasing your pet into their fenced yard. Likewise, if we are going for a walk or potty break in an unfenced area I always ensure that harnesses and collars are properly fitted and secured prior to exiting your home.
