“Enrica was wonderful! My boys are pretty high maintenance and she took great care of them. My Labrador has some anxiety issues and my French bull dog has special dietary needs and medications. She sent lots of pictures and updates during their stay. She even taught my bull dog how to swim…amazing!”

“Lorraine was absolutely fantastic with my pups! Not only they were well taken care of but she also gave me updates and photos of them daily! And as a mama of two pups that brings peace of mind. My pups loved her and adapted really well. I totally recommend Lorraine as she is a very sweet lady and it shows how much she loves animals ❤️ thank you !”

“Rita went above and beyond to take care of our pups over our wedding weekend - she even kindly transported them to the venue for us for a quick round of photos. They had a great time!! She sent regular updates and was overall a real pleasure to work with. We knew our pups were in great hands with Rita! Thank you so much!!!”

“Thank you for taking care of Joey. Megan and Vitaly were very accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommend. Only complaint- I wish they took more pictures of Joey during the stay.”

About: I grew up around dogs my whole life, which has informed my experience with them. I enjoy walking dogs and training them to learn new tricks. I know several dog training techniques, including positive reinforcement techniques. I can always make time out of my schedule to walk Fido or give Fluffy extra cuddles. I am available especially on Saturdays. When I'm spending time with your furbabies, it never feels like work. I care for my pets by making sure they have plenty of water and food. I also walk the dog frequently and make sure the cat has a clean litter box. For clients, I care for pets per their instructions.
“Laura was a fantastic dog sitter! She was flexible with scheduling pick up/drop off, sent an update with a photo, and our pup seemed to have a great time with her. We will definitely use her services again!”

“Candice took great care of our Lily. Of course we were a bit nervous going away for a week and leaving Lily with someone new. Candice welcomed us to her beautiful home with a wonderful smile and assured us that Lily would be fine. After receiving our first picture and report the next day (and everyday thereafter) we knew we had selected the right place for our fur baby and had no worries after that. Lily seemed to be right at home. We highly recommend Candice and her family and will definitely be using her again.”

“Our other dog passed very recently and has been with Milo for life so leaving him was especially difficult. We typically board and this is our first time using rover. Barbara reassured us and sent photos/updates throughout our time traveling. Response time and communication was top tier. I could tell he felt comfortable and safe in her home and was happy as can be despite the circumstances. I am so happy we opted not to board. 10/10 recommend and would happily work with barb again.”

“Meagan is truly a wonderful dog sitter. She was welcoming ,communicative each day about how Charlie and Bella were doing, and she sent great pictures. Having our fur babies stay with Meagan allowed for us to enjoy our family vacation. I will definitely be using Meagan again and I highly recommend her! Thank you Meagan!!”

“Our girl Kelsea came back from Grace’s home a very Happy Girl !! Grace took wonderful care of our dog and allowed us to have a “good time” and not worry about our girl !! Grace even sent pics of Kelsea’s stay. We have already booked again with Grace ! Thank you Grace 😊🩵”

“This was our first time boarding our dog, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chyann was incredibly sweet, attentive, and caring, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely loves animals. She provided regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was well cared for, comfortable, and happy throughout the stay. She has a natural way with animals and made the entire experience stress-free for both us and our pup. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, trustworthy, and loving environment for their dog.”

“Lindsey took care of Sydney for a night. When I was there to drop off, the kids and the family welcomed Sydney and made her comfortable. Lindsey provided frequent updates which I greatly appreciate. Sydney had a great stay at Lindsey's.”

“Claudia took such amazing care of my dog! She shared lots of photos and detailed updates every day, so I always knew how he was doing. She not only took him out for walks but also played with him at home and even let him snuggle with her at night. My pup absolutely adored her — when it was time to leave, he even sat on the lawn refusing to go, with watery eyes. It’s clear he felt very loved and happy with Claudia. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter! 💛🐾”

“Excellent Sitter. Probably around my 5-6th time returning. My pup always returns home happy and tired from all the playing and running outside. Will continue to use”

“We left our yorkie, Richie with Julia for over a week and Julia took great care of Richie, took him on regular long walks, shared pictures and videos of Richie and ensured that he ate well and kept him comfortable in her home. Thanks to Julia we were worry free about Richie on our vacation”

About: Hello! I’ve taken care of dogs both personally (for family & friends) and professionally for over 5 years. I’ve worked with dogs ranging from 8lbs to 70lbs. I work from home full-time and love the outdoors. I take regular breaks to go outside in my yard, and am able provide morning, lunch-time, and evening walks. I have a chihuahua mix of my own who is almost 10 years old. He can be shy at first but has warmed up to every dog I’ve brought around him and he enjoys having friends come over. I take no more than 2 dogs at a time to make sure I can provide enough attention and for safety. If your pup has any issues being around multiple dogs, please let me know and I can arrange to make sure they will be the only dog during their stay (besides my resident Toiro!) I am able to care for dogs up to 60lbs. I ask that you please make sure your pups are up to date on shots when booking with me. This helps prevent spread of illness to keep all of our furry animals happy and healthy :) My typical routine is: short morning walk before I start my work day at 8am, feed breakfast, extended lunch break walk around 12, potty break at 4pm, feed dinner on your schedule, extended walk in the evening around 6:45pm. If your dog needs more frequent potty breaks, I am able to accommodate that. If your dog has any restrictions on length of walks, please let me know so I can adjust accordingly. My fiance John also works from home and we sometimes take turns taking the dogs out. I have a yard and friendly dog at home. My desk is set up in the living room where the dogs spend most of their time lounging during the work day, so I am able to keep an eye on them. I am available to send updates and photos to make sure you feel at ease. You’re welcome to message me at any time to see how they are doing! I feed dogs separately to make sure there are no issues and to avoid distractions.

“All the hype about Dante is true! He’s communicative, accommodating, and really great energy. He asks a lot of questions to ensure my Kado was well taken care of. Dante is someone who truly loves what he does and that makes me happy. I think Kado and I found a permanent sitter until Dante retires us lol”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
