This was the first time our kitties had a pet sitter outside of the family, and at first they were scared, but Makalli was consistently calm and patient with them, and soon they were happy and comfortable with her. She’s wonderful to send updates every day with pictures so you know your babies are playing and eating and safe while you’re gone. I had spotty service on my cell several times while we were out of town and anytime I would miss an update, all it took was for me to check in with Makalli once and she would quickly get back to me, happy to resend her update along with all the pictures. “Aleta did a great job with drop-in visits for my cat Sophie. Since Sophie is not very social, Aleta never got to meet or see her during her visits. So, to let me know that Sophie was okay, she gave me daily check-ins by letting me know that she had ate the food she had put out and was drinking water, when she filled the gravity fed waterer, and if there was anything strange. It was a great comfort, since I was on a long trip out of state, and it was the first time Sophie had been alone. This was much less stressful on Sophie too. About: I've had pets since I was in third grade. Over the past few years friends have trusted me to take care of different kinds of pets from dogs, cats and even a horse. I have cared for animals of different temperaments and even a few with special needs. Working for a school district, I have a fairly flexible schedule, especially in the summer. I am available in both the mornings and the evenings so I can take care of fur babies almost any time throughout the day. I live with my parents, and my dad has decided to not have another pet, so I am unable to care for other people's pets in my home currently. That being so, I am more than willing to come to your home so your pet can stay in a familiar space. About: Hello! My name is Lexi and I’m looking forward to meeting your pets! Please be aware that I do not drive. This allows me to be home with your pets 24/7 if you feel that is needed since I don’t take other clients at the same time unless one is only during the day while the other is overnights. But if you’re pet isn’t used to be alone all day, they’ll be my main priority and I won’t take other bookings during your own. Otherwise, I might get picked up to have dinner with my family or other errands during the booking if it’s a longer one. If it’s just a few days I won’t go anywhere unless I have an appointment. You’ll have daily updates with at least one picture collage per day. If you’d like more, you can absolutely request it and I’ll be happy to send more updates throughout the day. I have experience giving medications as long as they are pills, giving baths, and brushing fur. Animal-wise I have experience with most animals including different dog sizes, cats, birds(including chickens!), fish, reptiles, amphibians, and small animals like bunnies. Most of my repeat clients were private (off rover) and some of them have left me testimonials on here. Those are the reviews that don’t say ‘verified stay.’ They have offered to be references for me too if you would like to contact them before proceeding with the booking! I require meet and greets before the booking starts and ask that you write or type out care instructions for me to use. Additionally, I need an emergency contact and vet info. Someone you trust to help me if an emergency with your pets or your home happens since I don’t drive. Thank you for reading and I hope I get to meet you and your pets soon! I require meet and greets prior to the house sitting. Since pet care is my full time job, I can squeeze your care request into my schedule easily. About: I am the owner of a cat and primary care giver to my family’s dogs when they are out of town. Have taken care of puppies and senior dogs. I have experienced with taken care of multiple dog households and also giving medication to dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have plenty of time to give my full attention to any pets you have. I can be there as frequently as needed for your animals. I have plenty of time on my hands to play, walk and care your pets. I am attentive care giver. When pets are out side I will make sure fence is in good shape to keep pets in and water bowls are filled especially on hot summer days. When temperatures are extreme I make sure when pets need to go out side they are only outside for a certain safe amount of time. I am patient with skittish pets and will play with hyper pets.
