We’ve used Rover a handful of times—all with decent success, but this experience has been the best of the best, even including non-Rover boarding solutions. Kaley cares, plain and simple. She asked some heartwarming questions about our dog like “what shows or movies does Lina like to watch?”, and “what colors do you think Lina likes?”. Kaley set up a brilliant enrichment tool that mixed peanut butter and paint (in a ziplock bag on canvas) and now we have a pretty good looking painting that my dog made! Like… what?! On top of that we have tons of cute pictures and videos of our pet. Even a little report card!! I felt Lina had an even better vacation than us. Kaley is special—she has a way of things that is really impressive. She deserves her own shop or facility one day.”
About: I have worked in the pet industry for over 20 years. I owned a grooming and boarding facility for 14 years and after having children have transitioned to home-based grooming and boarding. I currently groom from my home and plan to homeschool my children. I am rarely not home except to run errands or classes/outings for my children. I am not local and was just passing through and needed someone to look after my dog while I went to an appointment. About: I have own a pet since I was a young child. I currently have a small dog who is 1 and a sweet Australian Shepherd who is almost 9. I have pet sat for friends often and love to be able to spend time with them I have a very flexible schedule and am away from home at most 6 hours at a time. “If I could give 10 stars to Kaley, I would. We’ve used Rover a handful of times—all with decent success, but this experience has been the best of the best, even including non-Rover boarding solutions. Kaley cares, plain and simple. She asked some heartwarming questions about our dog like “what shows or movies does Lina like to watch?”, and “what colors do you think Lina likes?”. Kaley set up a brilliant enrichment tool that mixed peanut butter and paint (in a ziplock bag on canvas) and now we have a pretty good looking painting that my dog made! Like… what?! On top of that we have tons of cute pictures and videos of our pet. Even a little report card!! I felt Lina had an even better vacation than us. Kaley is special—she has a way of things that is really impressive. She deserves her own shop or facility one day.”
About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, including my own dogs, cats, etc. I work from home so I have the ability to provide an attentive environment as a pet sitter. I have a Boston Terrier and a child in the home. We have a safe, fenced yard. As a nurse, I am also comfortable providing care for animals that need medications. I have extensive experience with pets that have complex needs. I can provide boarding in my home or drop-in visits. I work weekdays from home. My schedule is very flexible and currently booking throughout the weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate most last-minute needs. I have a fenced yard with grass. I have one small indoor dog and a child that loves animals. We can provide walks, playtime and all other specific needs.
About: I’ve cared and watched over many different breeds of pets. I am a fond advocate of good animal care and strongly against abuse and neglect of any kind. I’m not biased to only dogs, but love animals of every kind. I’m currently working part time and also attend school, but I am not tied down to a 9-5 so I can generally work around things if need be. I have great time management and work well maintaining a schedule/routine. In my home: I will make sure they are well fed as instructed and get plenty of fresh air and socializing with me. About: I know how stressful it can be to find someone to trust with care for fur family-I’ve been there! I strive to make the experience as seamless as possible and communicate as much or as little as requested. I’ve watched and cared for animals since I was a kid from puppies/kittens (bottle feeding) to the elderly sugar faces and end of life care (including administering medications, emergency response, injury/wound care ). I have experience in volunteering in training, doggy daycare, and pet photography I work hybrid (mostly from home) and would happy to fit you into my schedule or as needed/able for both of us. My office location is also only 15 mins away. Weekends and nights work too! On my remote days I can take care of the pets more in-house and full-time. About: I have my B.S. In Animal Science and have been a care taker of all species and breeds of animals. I also train many large breeds of dogs. I own my own Agriculture Management and Consulting Business so my schedule is relatively free. I definitely have enough time to take any "puppy" on an adventure or make sure they're safe at home. I have a large backyard and a open concept home. I give respect and space to all animals to help generate a loving and fun environment.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, etc pretty much my whole life! I have siblings so the animals will be well cared for and have plenty of company! I currently do not work , I’m just a college student so I have plenty of free time to fit pet care into my routine! I care for any pets as if their my own, I wouldn’t want any ill treatment to happen so my animals so I would not allow anyone’s pet to be treated badly either.
