About: I've been around animals most of my life, with my own dog and cat and often visiting my grandparents farm and seeing the animals there. Ive pet sat for a variety of dogs and cats before even a horse and understand the multitude of personalities that come with them. I find joy in getting to know your pet and take the time understanding their body language and hearing what they have to say! I am a flexable chill animal lover who enjoys spending time with a furry friend :) I have a very flexable schedule which gives me plenty of time to spend with your pet! Checking in for a walk or potty break is easy and can happen often! I always love going over your comfortably level and what you expect of me on the job! I appreciate finding out the lay of the land with your home and yard when house sitting/check ins and often take notes so ill remember!
About: I've taken care of of family pets since at least 8 years old, I've trained puppies. Ive always loved animals and I've had Dogs, Cats, and Reptiles. I've never missed a feeding time for any of our pets. I make sure to feed our dogs in the morning and the night, or whatever schedule has been asked. But I have plenty of free time for playing with my animals. Well I love to walk so dogs always get enough exercise, and I make sure to groom my dogs monthly, and I make sure to feed all of my pets well enough.

She used the cat glove and got his trust.. and was then able to not only feed him but give him his twice daily meds.👍 She was very patient getting him to trust her. Every cat owner doesn’t want to worry about their cats while they are away. I did not worry. About: I have been a trusted pet sitter since the age of 12 and owned my fair share of dogs and cats!! Experienced in dogs/cats of all ages and sizes over my 10 years of experience. I am also experienced in help with any medical needs, transportation, or any other special requests you have for your furry friends :) I currently work part time and have PLENTY of time for playing, cuddles, and walks with your fur babies! When I am working, I don’t work anymore than 8 hours and can stop by for potty breaks if needed! I am very flexible and have the ability to keep your pets daily routines and have no problem taking any special requests! I do require at least 1 meet&greet with your dog before walking/sitting for my safety and your dog’s comfort!

About: I've had years of experience taking care of my own pets and also worked as a pet groomer for many years. I've had many animals throughout my life dogs, cats, ferrets, tortoises you name it. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule during the week and my weekends are wide open to spend time with your pets or have them over at my house. I have a fenced backyard and two dogs of my own that love to run and play with other dogs. While your pet is with me they are part of our family.
About: I grew up in a house with dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs and hamsters, so caring for pets is second nature to me. I've been a dog mom most of my adult life, raising an English Springer Spaniel, Sasha, from a pup, and a rescue, Delilah (in my photo), from 9 months. I've had experience in all aspects of training my dogs to have good manners, walk on a leash, etc. As a middle school teacher, I am skilled in keeping a schedule, following routines, and enjoying life while helping others! During my summer break and some school breaks, I can be available for walks and drop-ins twice per day. When I am in the swing of school, I can care for your pet(s) on weekends - go for that long hike, or get out of town for a night or two. I've got you covered! Because I do not have a fenced yard, I will only be dropping in for visits in a client's home. I look forward to exploring the neighborhood with your dog on a nice long walk!

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
