About: I have had at least one dog all of my life. Often times more than one. Currently living with just one Lab who would love a visitor/playmate. I foster emergency overnights on rescue transports. I have been a caregiver for dogs of all ages and kinds; puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with separation anxiety. I have grandcats I house sit for and have also taken care of chickens. I work from home with tons of flexibility. I have one adult child at home in graduate school, they have a health condition which keeps them home most days too, so your pet is never short of human companionship. I live in a great neighborhood for walks on a leash. I provide dog sitting in a one story home with a large, wooded fenced yard in central Richmond neighborhood. Great for dogs of all ages and abilities. I live with one Lab that's a large couch potato. He also likes his human to sit outside with him rather than be out there all by himself. So we spend lots of time outside together. Pets are permitted on furniture and the bed, whatever makes them feel at home. I do have a large dog crate that can be set up if needed, but only if requested as it will put your pet at ease. The most important factor is making sure your pet feels comfortable, keeping their routines and habits to lessen the stress of a new place.

Julie did an amazing job taking care of our dog Lola for three days! We felt completely comfortable knowing Lola was in great hands. Julie made sure she got plenty of exercise and time outside in the backyard, and most importantly, gave her tons of love and attention throughout her stay. It was clear that Lola was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. We came home to a very happy pup! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely recommend Julie to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their dog. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!
This was our first time using a non-family pet sitter so we were cautious. Amy was great at communicating, arranging a park meet-up and then a home visit. While we were away, she regularly sent updates and photos. It helped us feel at ease knowing our dog was well cared for. We were very happy with Amy!

We could not have asked for a better sitter for Archie! Korri and her family truly welcomed him into their home and treated him like one of their own. It was so obvious from the photos and updates that he was completely happy and comfortable there. He made himself right at home, snuggled in bed, had plenty of companionship, and even developed his own little fan club when Korri’s sister started coming over just to see him! 😂❤️ Korri was wonderful about keeping us updated throughout our trip, and those little glimpses of Archie happily living his best life made it so much easier to be away from him. She also went above and beyond for us when our travel plans unexpectedly changed. We needed to extend Archie’s stay by a couple of days, and Korri could not have been more gracious or accommodating. Then, after a delayed flight home and another unexpected hiccup on pickup day, she was once again incredibly kind and flexible and assured us that Archie was welcome for as long as we needed. More than anything, we never had to worry about whether Archie was safe, happy, or loved. Knowing he was being cared for in a real home, surrounded by people and dogs who genuinely enjoyed having him there, was priceless. We are so grateful to Korri and her whole family for taking such wonderful care of our boy. We would absolutely book with her again and recommend her without hesitation. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough! 🐾❤️
Allison was a perfect sitter for me with my cocker spaniel. I was happy he was the only dog she had at the time. She sent pictures and updates abd she is a very sweet and kind person.
