“She was great! I left my pup with her for two weeks and she sent me updates of him daily. She even bathed him 3 times and I was happy that he also had other dogs to play with and kept him busy. I definitely recommend her and will be coming back for my future trips 😁”

“Our puppy had the best week with Cyndi! Cyndi loved her like her own puppy and treated her so well. She sent many updates (twice a day) and really went above and beyond. We will use Cyndi for sure in the future!”

“I am thrilled to give Sheri a 5-star review for taking care of my pet, Happy, during boarding! Sheri went above and beyond to ensure Happy's comfort and happiness. I was particularly impressed with the regular updates she sent, complete with photos, to keep me informed and at ease. Her dedication, attention to detail, and love for animals truly shine through. I am so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thank you, Sheri, for taking such wonderful care of Happy! I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking top-notch pet care.”

“Jennifer is just wonderful. She’s communicative, friendly, and most importantly loves my dog and the care she provides for him is evident. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”
“Jessica was our Christmas miracle!!! She was so kind and flexible when our plans were changing. She sent updates everyday with multiple pics without me having to ask first. She was always quick to respond and took great care of Ranjha (she had already read up on his history before we had our meet and greet so she could ask all the right questions!) We will definitely be booking with her again :)”

“My dog loves going over Matt’s house. His ears perk up and he leaps out of my car with such excitement and that’s important to me. I travel for work and leaving my dog with someone kind is so important to me. You are here looking for a sitter - I say, look no further. He will love your dog and treat your pet as his own.”

“We had an excellent experience with Amy. Communication was clear, easy drop off and pick up and she sent lots of photos of our dog having a blast with her dogs. We will definitely use her again.”

“Jeffery, as advertised, is chill and he is WONDERFUL. Definitely a dog lover and really cared for our pup. Perfect with communication and sending pics and updates.”

“Julie is awesome! She went way above and beyond what I expected and made huge efforts to make Ginger (my high-energy Harrier) comfortable in her home. I love that she used positive reinforcement to keep Ginger inline instead of negative feedback. Ginger even escaped from her house and thank goodness Julie was able to call her back. Julie sent tons of updates via video and pictures keeping me well informed of everything going on during her stay. Ginger had ZERO separation anxiety when I picked her up and brought her back to my house. She normally has very extreme separation anxiety and I was out of town for a long time, so this was a HUGE relief for me (and Ginger I imagine as well!) Having Ginger stay in a loving home environment was so much better for her than the typical dog boarding environments. I feel like I picked up Ginger from an extended sleepover, not an exity filled environment typical to boarding. I highly recommend Julie to watch your pet!!! Your little one will feel so loved and welcomed. Julie is awesome!!!”

“My dog had an amazing time with Michelle and Milo - She liked it so much it seemed she didn’t want to leave! Seriously, Michelle took great care of my girl and made sure all of her needs were taken care of.”

“This was our first time using Rover and I was very apprehensive on using the service; until we met Hilary!! She was so welcoming and accommodating with our dog, not to mention extremely professional. Our dog had a great time, she was well exercised and we will definitely use her in the future. A+++++”

“Nadia took great care of my 11-year-old dog Nike. She sent pictures every day of her activity and my dog seems so happy to be among other dogs, which was surprising to me. I would definitely use her again. Nike was in good hands the entire time.”

“Jesse has done a wonderful job taking care of my 7 year old Samoyed! He provides good photo updates, his dogs are friendly, and drop-off/pick-up is always easy. I would highly recommend, and look forward to using his services again in the future.”

“Amanda did an amazing job of taking care of my dog for a week. I have a small dog that recently went blind and Amanda was very well versed in taking care of older dogs and dogs with disabilities. Her house is well set up for taking care of older/disabled dogs and communications with her were always instant. Amanda is also an incredibly nice and personable person in general. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone needing a dog sitter.”

“Dawn was so sweet taking care of my puppy! It was my first time leaving him for an extended period of time and Dawn made the whole experience completely stress free! I got pictures and updates 3 times a day and it was evident that Willie was having a great time :) I can’t recommend Dawn highly enough!”

“Alex is the best! Our dog was well cared for, had access to Alex’s backyard, and socialized with other well behaved rover pups staying at her house! She came back looking loved and well cared for! Alex sent us so many photos and we loved having updates throughout our dogs stay! Would recommend Alex to anyone!”

“Grace was so welcoming for Oliver's first stay. He enjoyed her yard and hanging with her dogs and their toy basket. Grace shared lots of updates and made sure Oliver was able to settle in quickly. I felt he was in great hands while we were out of town and I look forward to Oliver spending his next stay with Grace.”

Three Chopt dog parents share their Rover experiences
Linsen & Gr. are my hands down favorite doggie sitters. They are communicative, send amazing pics (better than anything I can take), have a fabulous yard and treat my dogs like an auntie and uncle. They book quick…so you got to plan ahead. They deserve every dollar and every tip! Will always pick first.

Wow! Nikki was a fantastic dog-sitter! She took my pup on long walks, on a field trip to the James River, and sent lots of photos and updates. Nikki was very thorough and organized in her pre-stay preparation and I felt very safe leaving my baby with her. She even helped me navigate a cost question with the Rover team. I will definitely use Nikki again.

Couldn’t be more pleased with the care delivered by Kevin during our weeklong vacation. He was very flexible, adjusting his schedule to accommodate a meet and greet, early check-in, and check-out. His three kids were very kind and gave Duke a lot of gentle love and play time in their fenced-in backyard. We received regular updates and Kevin was quick to respond whenever we needed to message him. We’ll be sure to book with Kevin again anytime Duke needs a sitter and would highly recommend him to anyone else who wants a 5-star experience!

Elana was wonderful and we are so lucky she was able to help us with a last minute holiday boarding for our older dog! She went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable and happy and even shared her own dog's new toys with our dog on Christmas so that he would be happy and less anxious. She was extremely communicative and asked good questions beforehand that we appreciated since it was clear she had been around dogs a lot and knew how to keep them safe, happy, and well cared for. She sent us regular updates and pictures and even accommodated a last minute request to extend the stay a day longer. Would recommend.
