About: I've had animals since I was a girl and haven't been without a pet since I was 10 years of age. Have had multiple dogs and cats at one time but now down to one 13-yr old male. Will always love and have pets as they are an integral part of my life. I derive much joy from their presence. Daily walks and attention to my own dog and look in on friend's dogs when they're away. My dog has his own bed for daytime but sleeps in my bed at night. I have a good sense about animals and will follow the routine they're used to. About: I have been working with Rover for over 5 years. My 13-year-old lab crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago, so I do not have any pets in my home and we do not take more than one family at a time. Animals are the best part of our world and nothing makes me happier than spending time with dogs and cats. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
