We left our dog Nina for a long weekend and Ilona sent us photo/video updates of Nina having the best time, especially with other dogs there for daycare/boarding. Previously we used to take Nina to a chain daycare that has started to stress her out, but picking her up today she was visibly relaxed and excited from a long weekend of fun! I'm already planning on sending her back for day care every once in a while just so she can see Ilona and her other daycare friends again. We felt very comfortable immediately and sensed that she was very caring and would be attentive to our dog. And as it turned out, that was absolutely true. She was very good with Levi. She made sure to get to know his needs and took great care to calm his nerves while we were away. We could see by the pictures and daily communication with Melissa that Levi was in excellent hands and that he was very comfortable, playing and thriving! As the owners of an older dog with some anxiety, we are always concerned leaving him when we go away. But, all our concerns were alleviated and we know that Levi had a wonderful time on his vacation, too. If we are in need of a sitter in the future, we will definitely call Melissa and don't hesitate to call her if you need a sitter for your pet, too. She is wonderful!”

I knew the moment I entered her backyard to meet her, the family and their dogs that this was the right place for our dog Zoe. They too were very excited to meet Zoe. You could tell right away that they are great care takers. After we dropped Zoe off to stay with Irene, we knew she was good hands and had no worries at all. Irene kept in touch a throughout each day and sent photos and updates on Zoe. Knowing that our dog was in good hands, we were also able to enjoy our vacation not having to worry about how our dog was doing. We knew Zoe had so much (especially playing with Irene's dogs) b/c the day after she got home we could tell that she missed being at her house. I am so happy that we found Irene and her family and a place where Zoe can have fun and be part of the pack when we need to go away. In fact, she is going back in a few days!”
