“I can not say enough great things about Patty! I have a recently diagnosed diabetic cat who is not friendly at all to strangers and I even tried boarding at the vet as was recommended but he refused to eat there so that was not an option. I reached out to Patty and explained the situation that if possible I would like Zoomie to receive his insulin injections but was realistic she wouldn't be able to get him out to do that. She was up to the challenge and even though Zoomie was true to form and would not allow her to get close to him she eased my mind with careful monitoring and updates. She really takes the health and safety of animals seriously and I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. “I did not want to board my cats anymore as they are older and the whole process is quite traumatic for them. From wrangling them into carriers, driving them to the vet, getting full rounds of vaccinations for 2 mature house cats, sitting in crates for a week surrounded by unfamiliar noises, smells and sights and then bringing them home again, boarding is terrifying for them and expensive for me. I am so glad I found Liz for home visits. The cats are home in their safe space and I know they’re fed and watered. They’re both shy around strangers but Liz was able to lure Darby out from her hiding spot under the bed for some purrs and treats. I highly recommend her expertise and will use her services again in the future.”

About: In addition to having my own family dog, I grew up taking care of other family & neighbors’ pets. This included regular walks, feeding, and overnight care. I’ve now been doing Rover for the last 6 years, taking care of dozens of dogs and cats, most of which return for recurring care — from drops ins to daycare and week+ long overnight stays. I work from home full time, so I can spend time with and be available for pets throughout the entire day. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to stay with pets all day or drop in as needed. I’m a very attentive pet lover - always playing with/petting them. I have worked in a Veterinary Office in thr past for 5 years and have gained a vast amount of knowledge of all different types of dogs & cats and understand they all have their own individual needs. I am able to administer medicine, take on long walks, even more active ones if requested being that I am very active myself. And for my senior dogs I am aware some need to go out more, or help with stairs etc. Some even love to get into things and need to be looked over a little more! About: I have been taking care of dogs for the past 4 years. I’ve come to learn the different breads and have acquired some basic training for dogs like teaching them to sit, paw, roll over etc. I love to play fetch with dogs too. They make me laugh and it offers them great exercise. I have a fenced in back yard so your dog can run around without having to worry about escaping. I have a pool which is open in the summer if your dog loves to play in the pool to get out of the hot sun. I am a full time teacher. I’m home at 3 pm everyday. I have breaks during the day and since I’m 5 minutes from work, it allows me to come home during the day to check up on the pups I’m watching. My weekends are free and I have summers over with vacations all rear round. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for your pup to play. I also have a pool and your pup can go in it during the summer when it’s open. I love to walk so me and your dog will be walking a lot.

I take the responsibility of caring for your pets very seriously, and I’m certified by the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid. Earliest drop off or pickup is at 8 am. Latest drop off or pickup is at 8 pm on weekdays, 9 pm on weekends. I’m also available for drop-ins at your home, every day except Saturday mornings. (I’m available Saturday evenings instead.) For Dogs: I have a large, unfenced backyard that dogs love exploring on a 50-foot long leash - so many scents to sniff and chipmunks to chase! I’m always there to monitor them - dogs are never left alone outdoors. Water is always available, and I work from home so I’m around the majority of the day to keep them happy and safe. What you’ll need to send: Their regular food is the most important thing to send, as dogs can get upset stomach from sudden dietary changes. You can also send their favorite treats, and a favorite toy. If they tend to pull on the leash, a front-latch harness, rubber-tipped prong collar, or gentle leader is appreciated. Bowls, beds, brushes, litter bags etc. are all unnecessary, as I have extras of all these supplies. For puppies, a crate may be necessary, depending on their level of potty training. For Cats: The cats have a comfy lounge downstairs, with food, water, litter boxes, and scratching posts. The dogs are not allowed downstairs, so the cats can get all the space they need from the dogs. The cats are free to move upstairs and downstairs as they prefer. All cats are indoors only. I have a lot of wide, accessible windowsills that they love chilling on to watch birds and squirrels outside, as well as battery-operated and automated toys that they can chase and play with on their own. What you’ll need to send: their regular food (wet and dry) and treats. Cat litter is also appreciated. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home most of the day. I have a spacious home that can accommodate giving multiple animals space, and I can keep animals separated from each other if necessary. I've always loved animals of all kinds, and I currently have my own dog and 3 cats. I can't wait to meet your pet, and I promise to love them and care for them the way every pet deserves to be loved!

We are able to (and love) having pups with special needs. Marshall's best friend was blind and we cared for him on many occasions. We can also administer medications and prepare specialized meals when needed. We have a large backyard that allows for plenty of jaunts and potty breaks. As well as plenty of space in the house for quiet time and naps. Your pup will have full access to make themselves comfortable in their home away from home. Travis works from home allowing for full time care. Roberta is a teacher nearby and is home early to allow for additional time and attention. We are able to fit your pup into our daily feeding, potty, play schedule or can adjust to meet their needs. In our home, your pets are treated like family. They'll enjoy a cozy environment with plenty of playtime in our large yard or indoors if it's too hot/cold. They'll have plenty of play time if they like or space to chill if that's what they prefer. Your pet will have access to our home to nap and play wherever they feel comfortable, and we also have the space to crate if, that's your preference.
About: I’m a huge animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and fish! I previously worked as a camp counselor at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I supervised groups of 30+ dogs of all sizes and personalities. I have experience feeding, bathing, cleaning up after pets, and administering medications that don’t require needles. I also have plenty of hands-on experience caring for cats and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I love getting to know each animal and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. Because I have pets of my own, I’m unable to care for animals in my home, but I’m happy to stay in your home or make drop-in visits to care for your beloved family members. 🐾 I'm currently working as a 8th-grade English teacher in the Rockland County area from 9:00-3:40. I'm lucky enough to have awesome work hours that allow me to take care of pets as needed! Currently I can't watch other animals in my home because I have two cats of my own and a GSD! All 3 of my animals are spoiled rotten! They have so many toys, tons of playtime, and the best of the best quality food and treats! I love my animals like my children, I even had a puppy shower for my new puppy! (Ask me for photos, and I will show you lol!) It's important to me, that your fur baby is comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. I will try my best to mimic your pet's schedule and keep them feeling pawsitively happy!
About: I've always been happiest when I am around furry friends. I have worked in a Veterinary Office in thr past for 5 years and have gained a vast amount of knowledge of all different types of dogs & cats and understand they all have their own individual needs. I am able to administer medicine, take on long walks, even more active ones if requested being that I am very active myself. And for my senior dogs I am aware some need to go out more, or help with stairs etc. Some even love to get into things and need to be looked over a little more! I am very caring and trustworthy and will give your dog the best experience & care to meet your standard, keeping them happy, healthy & safe. References also available at request. I currently work part time with a very flexible schedule and a lot of open availability. Since I make my own schedule at work I am flexible. Lino can be human-selective and indifferent to other dogs, and Natasha and Hamir respected that and live in an area where there is a lot of space from both possible triggers.
