About: I've taken care of numerous cats and dogs in my area and want to start spreading out! I am a volunteer and foster at the ADL of Texas. I have also spent time shadowing at my local vet clinic. I work only two days a week, so I have plenty of time for your pets! During school hours I am free before 9am and after 4pm. On weekends and holidays, I am free for the whole day. Since I volunteer, I know just how to treat any critter that might be tentative at first. I can also administer medicine swiftly if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I have experience with small and large breeds. I have a very active Dalmatian who’s 7 yrs old. I trained him commands and how to swim and how to safely get out of the pool. I’m used to active dogs and can walk or go for a run with your pup. I’m here for cuddles if they like to snuggle up ♥️ I’m available anytime on weekends. My available dates during the week are for evenings only from 7pm - 8:30pm. Available for evening or late drop-ins any time I am completely respectful of everyone’s home. I understand that many pets get separation anxiety and I’m glad to provide in-home care to make it easier.

Each of our pups has a different personality and set of needs, and Jessica gave them all the attention, exercise, and affection they needed. About: Elvis, a 14lb shi-poo and his two new buddies, Tucker and Nanook, love having other puppy guests over since his big brother passed on. We are very active and enjoy going for long walks and finding new things to sniff. The house is open with plenty of space to lounge on. The house is tiled except for the guest bedrooms and pretty puppy proof with a close of a few bedroom doors and a blanket on the couch. The pups have full access to a fenced outdoor space where squirrel and bird activity can be found in the mornings. I have had dogs since I was 7 years old and I volunteered at shelter for many years. I grew up with animals of all kinds on a farm in Vermont and its just my way of life. Furry friends are the best! I will cherish yours as much as I cherish mine. Please note that I prefer only weekend stay-cations for your pup but can do mid week if we arrange with enough advance notice. I have a pretty flexible schedule and my husband works from home. The dogs will get plenty of belly rubs and love. Since, we have three of our own, we are very prepared for any doggie need I have a fenced in yard and we we generally keep the dogs corralled to wherever we are or in the non carpet areas. We are happy to crate, if you bring one. Dogs can go on furniture (up to 25lb)
The Overlook pet parents share their Rover experiences
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the start, she was so kind and easy to communicate with, and throughout the stay she sent the sweetest photos and videos of our dogs, which meant so much to us. It made being away from them a lot less stressful. You can really tell how much she cares about the dogs she watches, and that gave us so much peace of mind. She even went the extra mile and brought in a package for us, which we really appreciated. When we got home, the dogs were so happy and relaxed. It was clear they were really well cared for. We’re so grateful and would absolutely trust her with them again anytime!

Emily was everything we hoped for. This was our first occasion using Rover or having a stranger in our house while we were on vacation. I was very pleased with Emily, her care for our home and our pets exceeded expectations. Her daily communication left us feeling confident that our little ones and our house were protected and cared for. We will definitely call her again. Thanks Emily.
Lauren was absolutely wonderful with our two Boston Terriers while staying in our home. From the moment we met her, she came across as genuinely kind, trustworthy, and responsible, and she more than lived up to that. She took amazing care of our fur babies and our home, and we felt completely at ease being out of town knowing they were in such good hands. Our dogs were happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for when we returned. Lauren is sweet, attentive, and dependable, and it’s obvious she truly cares about the pets she watches. We will 100% be booking her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter they can fully trust. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Lauren is the real deal and we feel lucky we found her.

We so appreciated everything Ashley did for our pup. She walked him and took him on rides. Buster was really treated as if he was her own dog. We returned home to a happy dog and home in perfect condition. Ashley is a very caring and loving person and we would recommend her to anyone needing an attentive care giver. We will definitely request her for another booking.

Jamie is an Absolute Lifesaver! Highly Recommend! We booked Jamie through Rover for a 4-night overnight stay while my daughter and I were out of town, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. We have four very spoiled kitty cats and two energetic dogs that we’re ridiculously attached to, so leaving them is always incredibly stressful for us. Jamie completely put those worries to rest. She followed every single instruction to the letter , feeding schedules, play routines — everything. She sent us numerous photo updates every single day, complete with little notes about what each pet was up to. It felt like we never left! The animals were clearly relaxed and happy when we got home. On top of that, she left the house spotless. It genuinely felt like we’d only been gone a few hours instead of several days. If you’re anxious about leaving your fur babies (like we are), book Jamie with total confidence. She’s professional, communicative, loving, and clearly adores animals. Thank you, Jamie — you’re the best! 🐾❤️

They were very caring for our babies as this was the first time to use a house sitter. We were able to meet & greet to review all the little quirks the dogs had and they were smitten at first visit. Thank you for taking care of our babies as well as our home and we WILL be asking for your assistance in the near future.
