I’m a part-time Pilates instructor, only teaching a couple classes 2-3 days a week and a homebody otherwise, so if I go out, I won’t be away from your pets for very long at all. I program my classes from my laptop remotely so time with your pet and ample potty breaks are no problem, but wifi is required!

I will follow any home routines to the best of my ability and care for your pets like they are my own. There will be lots of playtime and walks unless otherwise indicated. I have no problem letting your dog or cat sleep in bed with me, but I’m also familiar with crate training protocols. Please know that when I stay in your home, I’m not just your petsitter. I’ll park in the driveway and turn on the porch lights at night. I’ll bring in your mail and sign for packages. I’m not just watching out for your dog or cat.. I’m there to watch over your house as well. Any peace of mind that I can provide while you’re away, I’m happy to do so.

Let me know if your pet has any special commands. Every family is different and often train their pets in different ways. So please let me know which commands you use when it’s time to eat, take a bathroom break, or go for a walk. Do they receive treats for following commands or only on special occasions? The more info I am given on their normal routine, the happier everyone will be!
A typical day
Ball is life! Or frisbee. Or rope. Or whatever your pup desires! I’m a big walker myself so regular walks to stretch and burn that energy are a no-brainer. Do you have cats? I have a laser pointer!

I LOVE dogs and cats and have had pets all my life. I will treat yours like family! I’ve worked with puppies and have a special place in my heart for senior pets. I am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I have no issue administering medications if needed. I truly love all animals and enjoy playing with them, going on walks, and just being around them.

We had a wonderful experience! Marissa took excellent care of our two dogs and cat while we were away and sent daily photos and updates, which gave us great peace of mind. When we returned home, our pets were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. As an added bonus, the house was spotless. Marissa even vacuumed or swept up the pet hair and washed the sheets and towels, which was completely unexpected and so appreciated. Marissa went above and beyond in every way. We highly recommend her and will absolutely be booking with her again!
