“Linda was great once again with my cats, even taking special care while one was struggling with a post-vet behavioral issue. She was very flexible and highly communicative as always!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Whitney was fantastic! Super attentive and friendly—she kept me updated with photos and messages throughout each visit, which gave me so much peace of mind. Communication was seamless, and it was clear she really cared about making sure the pups were comfortable and happy. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

“Maribel was wonderful and we will definitely book with her again. This was my first time booking with Rover and I was nervous to have a stranger come in the home and leave my fur babies with a someone I didn't know. Maribel set up a visit to meet us and our dogs and I quickly felt comfortable with her. The dogs warmed up to her immediately and the daily notifications of check ins and photos put our mind at ease. Thank you Maribel, Olive and Arlo look forward to booking with you again soon. :)”

About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! I know how important pets are to the families they love and how important it is to have peace of mind that they are in good hands while you're away. I will ensure that your fur baby has all that they need while they wait on their favorite human/s to come home. I've taken care of a dogs for most of my life. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. When the neighbor's dogs broke through the fence and attacked him, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. I also had an outdoor cat, and pet sat for a neighbor who had an iguana, fish, water turtles, and cockatiels. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. Last year, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

About: I’ve had at least 5 years of experience sitting for friends and family. I’m going to college and studying to be a Veterinarian. I volunteer at Kern County animal shelter, and my main task is cleaning puppy cages, so I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I am a college student at CSUB, studying to be a veterinarian. During the Summer, I have a lot of free time while still maintaining good availability during the school year. Even if I have classes, I would still be able to check on an animal every day. I make sure to remove anything that could potentially harm an animal (Sago Palm for cats) and if they enjoy going outside, to always have them on a leash and in my sight.
About: I have been caring for senior dogs for years, and I truly treat every dog like family. I have hands-on experience with older pups, including giving medication, changing diapers, and making sure they stay comfortable and happy. Our pup’s didn’t earn the nickname of Man’s Best Friend out of nowhere and they deserve to be cherished, even when you need time away from home. I have experience in all ages and conditions including but not limited to: -New pups -Old pups -Blind pups -Diabetic pups I currently work full-time as a medical scribe with the goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. The great part? My workday starts early and ends early, leaving me with the perfect early morning, afternoon, and evening hours to dedicate to pet care. Daily walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles all fit smoothly into my routine, and I love having that quality time with pets after a busy morning. Weekends are even more flexible, which allows for longer stays, extra play, or extended house sitting when needed. Caring for animals brings a great balance to my week—and a lot of joy too! I treat your space with the same respect I treat my own. I keep things tidy, follow all routines to the letter, and make sure your pet feels safe and relaxed in their familiar environment. I keep you updated with daily pics, videos, and little notes on how your pup is doing! When walking, I’m big on safety—leash rules, paw checks, water breaks, and always watching for dog’s body language. My goal is a happy, tired, and content pet after every visit.

About: I raised my first dog independently when he was just 4 months old. Before I got him, I did a lot of research on dogs to understand them and give mine the best life possible. We loved going on walks together, and I trained and socialized him. He was very shy when I first met him, but with patience and consistency, he turned out to be very friendly and well-behaved. I currently have one dog named Oreo. He is three years old and very friendly and playful. In fact, one of the things he loves doing is playing ball. He will play all day if possible! We love going on walks together and being outside in nature. Disclaimer: He is not neutered, but he can be wrapped (with a diaper) around females. He does not mount. Weekday availability: 9am - 5pm and 7pm - 9pm. I have open availability on the weekends and most holidays. Please let me know in advance if you'd like to schedule for a holiday so I can confirm my availability. I keep my home clean and have plenty of room for your fur baby to run around. I also have plenty of toys and beds for them to enjoy 😊 . I make my own treats (100% all-natural chicken jerky) and give them out at least once daily.

The Oaks pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jeanette is local to me and was very pleasant and easy to talk to. We have cameras so I was able to track her visits and watch her spend time with the dogs. Our agreement was to just feed my 2 dogs twice a day, but she went above and beyond. She brought my mail and packages into my garage and spent time playing with our German Shepherd and Beagle. She was "on Task" and on time every day. I would definitely use her again.
