She sent us pictures of Maia all the time and communicated with us. We’ll definitely book her again for future trips.”

About: Hi, I’m Makayla! I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. Since I was 3 years old, there’s always been a house full of dogs, cats, and just about every pet you can think of. Over the years, I’ve cared for animals of all ages—from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs—and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve been pet sitting for years and love being someone people (and pets!) can count on. Whether it’s walks, feedings, playtime, cuddles, or giving medications, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m gentle, patient, and confident handling all kinds of temperaments and needs. If you’re looking for someone responsible, caring, and truly passionate about animals, I’d love to help care for your furry family member while you’re away. Can’t wait to meet your pet! I’m currently a stay-at-home wife with plenty of free time, and as a lifelong animal lover, I thought—why not turn my passion into something even more rewarding? I already spend my days caring for and walking my own dog, so getting to do that while helping other pet parents sounds like a dream come true. I’d love nothing more than to fill my days with tail wags, happy paws, and a few extra furry friends. I’m happy to follow any instructions you provide, no matter how detailed or specific. Your pet’s routine, comfort, and safety are my top priorities. I promise to treat your fur baby like they’re part of my own family—with love, attention, and care every step of the way.

About: Howdy fellow dog lovers! My name is Dania and I'm currently completing my masters in counseling at UTSA! My favorite things in life are: long drives, running, being outdoors, cooking, and of course.. dogs! I've only ever been on Rover to search for sitters but I have some unexpected career changes occurring this May so I figured why not try Rover out as a sitter (hence the lack of reviews). But I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and as the oldest child, I was basically the designated pup caretaker. I've also had several dogs myself throughout my adulthood and have dog sitted for friends and family as well! From bath time to belly rubs, feeding schedules to medication routines (shoutout to my childhood dog with epilepsy), I’ve done it all. Taking care of dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I love. I’m a huge animal advocate and truly believe every dog deserves all the love, care, and comfort in the world. Fun fact: I once wrote a letter to a former president advocating against kill shelters—and they actually wrote me back! 🐶✉️ These days, I share my home with my 3-year-old cocker spaniel, who’s full of energy and always ready to make new friends—unless you’re a German Shepherd (he’s working through some past trauma, but aren’t we all?). Whether your pup needs long walks, cozy cuddles, or just someone to remind them they’re the best dog ever (because they are), I’ve got them covered. Can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! 🐕💛 I'm currently working part-time at an elementary school W-F, so I'm unavailable from 7am-4pm on those days. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I am at my internship from 9am-2pm, but have flexibility and time after that. My weekends are pretty open, sometimes spontaneous plans come up but feel free to message me to ask! I live in an apartment and have a small patio for your pup to get some sun bathing in. I live with a roommate who actually has been a dog sitter for Rover for over 3 years so she's very much a dog lover as well. I have a cocker spaniel, Benny, who can keep your fur baby company and I can easily crate him our pup if need be.

“Candy took such good care of our dog Raven when she came to let her out. She kept me updated and sent a detailed review of her visit with lots of pictures. We will definitely be using Candy again when we need help with Raven!”

“Marilyn was fantastic. Her communication and responsiveness is top notch. One of our pups needed some additional TLC and her attention made all the difference. We will always reach back out to see if she is available when we have future pet sitting needs!”

I will send photos, videos, and love & care for your pet as I do for my own. I work from home and I can care and walk your dog throughout the day or as needed overnight. I will provide all the essential care throughout the stay since I work from home. Your pet can be with me all day long and I can take for walks multiple times as well.

About: I have a passion for animals, especially when it comes to dogs. I had my first dog, a little poodle, when I was five and took care of her for 19 years. I also had a springer spaniel that just recently passed away. I love being around animals and would be love to help take care of your pet. I am very active. I love going on walks, trails, playtime or just some good quiet time together. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available early morning through evening time to visit with or walk your dogs. I tailor every visit to each individual pet's needs. Some pets are more active than others, some like more attention, some need their medication at a specific time. My goal is to make every pet happy and healthy and well walked too.

About: I have 6 dogs and have had many pets all my life , I feed, bath , train and take care of them. Love them all deeply and have a lot of experience with pets. I’m currently going into college but a few days a week and the weekends will be fine. I will figure out my classes and see the flexibility I can give after that. I will walk the dogs around my safe, gated neighborhood. We can even go in jogs. I will feed the dogs and give treats if learning a new trick. I’ll play catch with the dogs and even bath if needed.

The Dominion pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ana was wonderful! My cat can be nervous around new people but was instantly comfortable with Ana. She was so communicative throughout the whole process which I really appreciated, she provided multiple photos each day and included comments on how my pet was doing after each visit. I would absolutely book again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Rover in the area!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Courtney! She took such great care of my two pups over the weekend, and I felt completely at ease the entire time. She sent me regular updates and made sure I knew how they were doing, which I really appreciated. It was so comforting to know they were in such kind and capable hands. She was incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and just absolutely perfect. My dogs adored her, and so did I! I would 100% trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat your pets like family.

Lindsay was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She met my pets (and me) ahead of my trip so I had complete peace of mind. My fur babies took an instant shine to her and she was so sweet with them. I got fantastic updates and wonderful pictures from her, and my crew was happy and healthy when I got home. Highly recommend using Lindsay to care for your fur babies, they’ll be in exceptional hands. Would give 6 stars if it was an option ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ava was very friendly with Hunter and Spencer. She gave our Dog a lot of attention as well and was able to feed our cat as a courtesy since he does not need care or to be walked. My only concern was the check-in times were off versus what was originally requested and communication could have been a little better with the walks and any issues. I did get some notes and pictures of how things were going. I would have loved for him to have more walks, but I sometimes understand the weather can be a factor.
