About: I've lived on a small farm since I was 10 where I've bathed, fed, and cared for multiple dogs, cats, chickens, goats and a bunny. Including puppies and kittens. Friends and family have relied on me to pet sit, provide grooming, medications, walks, and feed their pets. Often times stray animals will make their way into our yard and if they are injured, I'll care for them, feed them and foster them until I can identify their owners. I love all animals and consider each and every one of my pets as family. I am available during the morning and evenings on the weekdays, weekends, and on most holidays to care for your fur baby! At minimum, I spend an hour each visit to ensure your pet(s) are fed, clean, has had time to play and overall gets plenty of love and attention. In your home, I respect and take care of the home and pet(s) as if they were my own. I create a fun, safe and comfortable space for both the owner and pet(s) as I continuously provide updates and/or photos of the pet(s) to the owners during each visit. Depending on the rules from the pet owner, at night I will ensure the pet(s) do get crated and are inside and safe for bedtime and dinner.

“We were looking to board our dogs but the expense was above our budget and because our three pups can be a handful sometimes and are not very sociable boarding was out. Someone told me to check out Rover for a house sitter to watch our dogs in our house. We were skeptical at first because we never heard of Rover and house sitting dogs. Anyway I searched the adds on Rover and found Julie, she had lots of 5 star reviews, many return customers and lived somewhat close to us. I got in contact with her and she stopped by to say hello and set up an hour to meet and greet our dogs. She was right on time and very confident she would have no problems with our dogs, turns out she was right. She handled our dogs like the seasoned professional she is, it was very impressive. we're very thankful to find her and I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for an alternative to boarding, we intend on using her many times in the future”

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I started walking and learning to care for my family’s mini schnauzer when I was around 10. I got a Goberian named Bristol about 6 years ago, which my girlfriend and I both care for full time. Shortly after, we adopted a cat named Raya! Most of my experience comes in the form of walking, bathing, feeding, playing, and training the dogs and cats I’ve had. I am teacher who is off during the summer. Most of my daily schedule outside of work consists of caring for our current pets such as walking the dog and going go the gym. I have time on weekdays before 7am and after 5pm. I'm free all day on weekends. I have a lot of experience with a very high energy puppy who is half husky and half golden retriever. She struggled a lot with pulling on the leash as a young puppy but now walks a lot better throughout her training. Being relatively new to Texas, I always take precautions when walking her. I usually make sure she is soaked in cold water and doesn’t walk on the pavement if we go out when it’s 95+ degrees. I always make sure to leave things the way I find them. Being a teacher, this is something important to me, so I always respect other people’s pets and property.
