From all the updates she sent, I could tell my girl was relaxed and just being welcomed to be herself. It was clear from the photos provided that Natalie was getting right on her level and that Greta felt secure. I was late droping-off and picking up, but Natalie was so flexible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. Greta was so calm when I picked her up, when normally she seems a little frantic to be back with me (even at my mom's)-- if you're looking for a chill place for your pet to feel at ease, this is it. Natalie also asked a lot of important questions when I dropped off Greta which made it clear she was thinking ahead and trying to create an environment that my girl could be happy in. I'm so appreciative of Natalie's considerate approach.”

To me, dogs and cats aren’t just animals they are lifelong companions. 💕 I have many years of experience caring for a multitude of animals (30+ to be exact). As a kid, we had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds you name it. In high school, I worked for a groomer and learned a lot about how to properly care for different animals. I've always had a passion for rescuing because of my mom and her love of rescuing/saving animals in need of a home. It’s something that she passed down to me. RIP Momma I Miss You! ❤️‍🩹 My philosophy is that every animal deserves to know what love is in its fullest form so that is what I strive to provide to each and every animal in my care. I just recently lost our two oldest rescues dogs named Romeo and our Wheaton Terrier named Hayley. Oh and let us not forget our very outspoken Torti cat named Nala whom we loved dearly. So we rescued our beautiful cat Bella and most recently a sweet 4 month old puppy named Nova. They are my furrkids, my companions, my therapy animals, and my little loves. As a self-employed cosmetologist I am blessed with a flexible schedule which allows me the opportunity to be here to help care for your pet companions in the best ways possible. I am flexible and I am open to helping when & where I’m needed. I have references I can provide from those whose animals I have cared for previously that I will happily provide. Exercise is important to me so we like to spend time taking the animals we care for on long walks or hikes, swimming, or to the park to chase a ball or frisbee. About: I used to work as a vet tech while getting my undergraduate degree in animal science. I spent a full summer running my own doggy daycare and have worked in boarding facilities as well. I have experience grooming, giving medication, and plenty of experience with loving on animals!! My home has two dogs who love to snuggle and play, and I would love to care for your pet too! I am working from home currently, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I set my own schedule, so I can have flexibility with pick-up/drop-off. I have a giant crate (big enough for a great dane) and a small one (big enough for a beagle), but I also don’t mind uncrated dogs. My two dogs will be crated separately when I am not home, unless owner requests their dog have a buddy. Dogs are allowed on furniture and can sleep in the bed if that’s their norm. I have a large fenced in yard.

About: Hi, I’m Madison! My passion for dogs started at a young age, growing up with four schnauzers! In recent years, I’ve spent a good amount of time working in rescue and fostering dogs as well as rescuing as many animals as I can. I’ve spent the better part of the last four years working with a certified dog trainer, assisting in teaching classes as well as grooming clients out of my home! I have been grooming dogs for four years. Prior to working with a trainer, I worked in a dog boarding facility and I also own three personal dogs as well as I usually have at least one foster dog. I grew up always having at least four dogs so my love of animals started very young! As a kid I would also house sit for neighbors and family friends. I love helping dogs learn and have a passion for training and grooming! Aside from grooming clients out of my home, I am primarily a stay at home parent. With the exception of occasional errands, I am home 90% of the time to take care of the animals. I have a fenced in portion of my yard with plans to expand the fence this summer as well as three friendly personal dogs to keep your dog entertained and exercised! All of my dogs go outside every three hours minimum. I have a dog wash in my basement and can accommodate dogs of all sizes! We have three kids in our home and while they are all kind to dogs, I also have separate spaces to provide ample downtime should your dog need it.

About: I've had a dog since I was 3 and currently have my own 2 year old doggo that I got in Jan 2022. Neighbors and friends rely on me to pet sit for them. I have experience with all sized dogs. I also has experience with cat sitting as well! Me and my roommates currently foster cats. I’m a part-time student at WMU. I class 12-3 on Wednesdays, but other than that I’m pretty much free. I do have a dog of my own and need to care for him as well. I'm willing to do anything the pet needs whether that be making sure the animal take needed meds, changing wound dressings, or running around a dog park. I'm also very patient with animals!

About: Life long dog lover that has had pets since childhood. We have had two dogs as adults, that unfortunately just passed after 16 years. As a result, we have experience in taking care of dogs of all ages. My husband and I both work from home and will be with your pet 24/7. We also have two kids who love pets and will love shower your pup with attention and love. I do not have a fenced yard, but will be able to take them out front on a leash. I can let them out as much as they need, as we are always home.

My husband and I are happy companions to an 8 yr old basenji. She still has a lot of energy, so we take frequent walks, and have plenty of play time. “Kristi was a godsend for us! We traveled from St. Louis to Kalamazoo for a funeral and were worried about leaving our daughter’s golden retriever Buffy with strangers. But Kristi and her children were fabulous! They treated Buffy like their own treasured pet. Buffy bonded with their dog immediately, and she didn’t care that we left. She was so happy playing with the children and their dog. We took her back for a couple of hours the next day, and Buffy was thrilled to see her friends again. I wish we lived closer so we could use Kristi over and over. She really was the best!”
