About: I have owned a cat for over a year now and I have taken very good care of him. Before then, I have cat sat for some of my neighbors, checking in on the kitties daily while they were away on vacation. I took care of their litter, feeding schedule, and making sure they had clean/fresh drinking water at all times. I also played with them for 15-20 minutes for three times throughout the day. A funny little thing I have trained my cat to do is to let me gently stretch him (he lets me stretch his legs individually. I really think it helps him because of arthritis.) and he is comfortable with being held! I would never do any of that with kitties that I am not familiar with though. I respect that cats have boundaries that should never be crossed and I love that about them!

About: We had a small dog when our children were out of high school and our world revolved around him. We miss him a lot since he crossed the rainbow bridge but I am lucky to be a grandma to 5 dogs—a Saint Bernard, a chihuahua mix, 2 terrier mixes and a German Shepherd mix. All rescue dogs with some quirky personality traits that make them a challenge and fun. I have also cared for my sister’s senior Maltese and a neighbor’s senior Boxer. Dogs are my favorite animal and I just love spending time with them! I recently retired from being a paraprofessional at a local school so I have a pretty flexible schedule. My husband works on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays so those days I am much more available but he is flexible if I’m working or have something scheduled. We live out in the country and have a fenced in yard so dogs can play and have some fun time running free. Our neighborhood is safe to walk dogs (we used to walk our little guy around the block daily—1 1/4 miles) and there are also 2 parks close by that we could walk if they seem bored with the block.

About: We love, love, love dogs! We have a home with a fenced yard and work from home so your pup will have lots of company for most of their stay. We also have two home dogs who are both very friendly and love having playmates. One is an elderly medium sized dog and has a hard time getting around and the other is a youngster who is only 8lbs. Therefore we prefer dogs on the smaller side (<40lbs) with no aggression issues with other dogs. Guest dogs are treated like family and are welcome throughout our home. I have a 5 year old Catahoula Hound mix that I adopted from the SPCA! When I house sit he does need to come with me. He has never had issues with other dogs or cats. I am a medical assistant during the week for Bronson and would love to spend time with animals on the weekends or after work playing or going for walks. About: I have been around animals my entire life and have been entrusted to caring for them since I was about 12 years old. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs and am willing to provide special attention when needed. I am a full-time college student who currently is unemployed, so I have plenty of time to be able to spend with your pet! I also have my own car so transportation is no issue! Your pet will be my main focus for the duration of their stay whether it be training or sitting. The same goes for sitting or training in your home as well. I adapt well to new houses, don’t mind cats as well. I like to keep clean around the house, and I do offer deep cleaning as an extra.

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals. I started taking care of pets on my own at the age of seven, and I’ve loved doing it ever since. I currently have two rescues of my own, and have experience in senior care. I currently work from home and have an open schedule. I have availability for a fixed schedule or just whenever you need the extra help. I know how important routine is in a pets life, whatever directions are given will be followed. And they will get plenty of cuddles and playtime.

She communicated with us, sent us a picture when possible, she was very respectful and understanding! She also responded very quickly as well which I appreciated since I’ve had my 1 year old cat since she was 8 weeks old and I’ve never left her with anyone before and we got our 2 yr old cat 3 months ago, but being in the loop made me feel better 😊 they seemed to have fun, so we definitely would come back!”
