About: I have taken care of my own pets and the pets of friends since about age 10! I will play with, walk, pet, feed, and spend quality time with any precious pet of yours as if he/she is my own! I have been a trusted dog sitter and house sitter of many friends and friends of friends. I tend to take petsitting jobs by word-of-mouth, but now happy to offer my services through Rover! I also have two very healthy and happy cats of my own, so I am accustomed to the needs and habits of cats as well and would be so glad to give yours some love! I just moved to Tehachapi and while I search for a new full-time job, I have a lot of availability to care for your pets! I cannot currently welcome more pets into my own home, but am happy to travel to your home and ensure that your babies needs are met and that they are safe and watched over!

About: Tucked away in the mountains, my off-grid home is more than just a boarding space—it’s a peaceful, nurturing retreat where both dogs and cats can feel safe, understood, and truly at home. I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals, and caring for them is second nature to me. Maybe it’s the Leo in me, but I’ve always been drawn to the independent, curious nature of cats, just as much as the loyalty and energy of dogs. I take the time to get to know each animal individually—their quirks, their comforts, and their communication style—because no two are the same. Whether they need adventure, structure, play, or just a quiet place to rest, I tailor their stay to what suits them best. My own pack includes two amazing dogs, both of whom I’ve raised since they were pups—an Australian Kelpie who thrives on activity and focus, and a Husky/Malamute mix who loves adventure just as much as I do. I also have two incredibly special cats, Face and Lilith. Face, my shadow and best friend, was once a wary barn cat who took 1.5 years to trust me. Now, he hikes with me and my dogs, showing an adaptability I’ve never seen in another cat. Lilith, my Hemingway cat, appeared as a tiny, helpless kitten in the woods and has since grown into a thriving, playful companion. Recently, I also took on the challenge of caring for and finding homes for 21 puppies all at once—an experience that reinforced my deep commitment to the well-being of every animal that comes into my care. For dogs, my home offers the perfect mix of adventure and comfort, with plenty of space to roam, explore, and play. For cats, I provide a dedicated, dog-free space downstairs, designed just for them, complete with padded, cloth-covered shelves, sunlit lounging spots, and plenty of enrichment to keep them engaged. Cats are never let outside unless specifically requested by their owner, ensuring their safety. Whether you have a dog who thrives on companionship and outdoor adventure or a cat who craves quiet comfort and personalized care, my home is a place where they will be loved, understood, and cared for like family. I do have a large fenced back yard which is behind expanded currently. Pet care isn’t just something I do—it’s fully integrated into my daily life. Living off-grid and working from home means I don’t have a traditional 9-to-5 schedule, so my time revolves around the animals in my care. From the moment I wake up, I’m tending to their needs—letting dogs out to stretch their legs in the fresh mountain air, preparing meals tailored to each pet, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Throughout the day, I engage with them in ways that suit their personalities—whether it’s a long hike through the woods for high-energy dogs, quiet companionship for more relaxed pets, or interactive play for curious cats. Because I’m always home, no animal is ever left alone for long. I have the flexibility to adapt to their needs in real-time, whether it’s providing extra comfort for a nervous newcomer or giving an active pup the extra exercise they crave. At night, every pet settles in safely, knowing they are in a warm, loving environment. Caring for animals isn’t a job I clock in and out of—it’s simply my way of life. Exercise and outdoor time are a big part of my daily routine. I take my dog for runs or walks multiple times a day, exploring the beautiful mountain trails and giving them the movement they need. If your dog enjoys exercise and adventure, I’d be happy to include them in these outings, ensuring they get plenty of physical activity and enrichment. About: I have taken care of pets for much of my life, especially cats and dogs, mine and my family's. Currently in my home I have eight cute and adorable cats. I have several availability for pet care, for the night I only have availability for cats since I have eight cats and I cannot accept dogs for sleeping, however for walking I have availability from 2:30 p.m. onwards. I have a large patio especially for the cats that we call catio, it has toys and some small logs that they can climb on. I really like dogs and I would be happy to walk them for as long as necessary, we can also run or play.

I have two pet water fountains that are rinsed and refilled every day. I have a calm and quiet home that can be helpful for anxious or shy pets. I make sure that I spend plenty of quality time with your pet in your home so they feel comfortable. I love all kinds of pets, and I make sure all of them get the love and care they need.

I never rush and always give pets all the time they need while I am there. Plus, I’m happy to water plants and anything else you need for free. - I’m new to Rover but have been pet sitting via neighborhood apps and ads for over 30 years. Along with caring for my pug and my cats - caring for others pets takes center stage during the day. I also enjoy getting to know pets and their owners in order to give excellent care. I understand keeping your pet safe is an incredible extension of trust. I am very careful when opening doors, am very aware of our surroundings when taking walks, and very careful doors are securely locked. Any special requests owners have, I am happy to abide. About: I've been a dog lover my entire life ever since my parents brought home a mini poodle when I was 5 years old. I have nice, clean, and spacious townhome in Tehachapi for your furry friend. Your baby will have a great time running around my home and going for walks. I have a large selection of doggy toys that your fur baby can play with and I have a nice selection of treats for them or you may supply your own. About: Growing up with cats and dogs, I learned pet responsibility at a young age. I also learned that animals gave me a purpose and passion. I loved seeing our pups excitement when we arrived home, at meal/snack time or when they knew it was time for a walk. About: What sets me a part of the fact that I owned a vet rescue with as many as 45 cats and 25 dogs. Definitely under understand how to take care of cats and dogs. I currently am not working staying at home taking care of the home. I have plenty of time to care for animals. I have years and years of experience, taking care of animals since I did have a pet rescue at one time. I have two cats and two dogs. My environment is very pet friendly and safe. I previously owned a rescue which I had 45 cats and 21 dogs so I’m definitely capable of taking care of your sweet pet.

About: I trained my sister's dog to sit and stay at 6-7 months old. I did take care of my roommates animals when she would ask me. I work as a caregiver two times a week along with childcare at a church, once a week. I also do sidejobs such as gardening. I follow the owners orders regarding their animals. I like to keep in contact with the owner just in case i need to ask a question. I like to give the animals extra loving even after my duties are done.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was around 10-11, from big dogs to small. I have taken care of older dogs up to their life expansion, my oldest dog had hip problems and was on lots of medication so I know the routine and understand older dogs require patience. I love all kinds of dogs and I currently own a hyper 2 year old lab, she's a handful but I love it! So I understand the energetic pups too, they need lots of play and walks. Im currently working part time and volunteering locally, but I can do drop ins mondays before 10am and after 1pm, Tuesdays after 11pm, Wednesdays before 10am, Thursdays anytime before 6pm, Fridays after 11pm. Weekends im still working out so ill update asap! I cannot provide in home care, but while doing drop ins I will be sure to keep your pets safe, not leaving doors open or anything dangerous around they can consume, I understand wanting the best care for fur babies!

I enjoy being around all different types of animals and making friends with them. I only have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays in Bakersfield, so I have a lot of availability.
