About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats and all other kinds of pets for over 8 years. I have worked as a dog groomer for over 4 years. I also have experience with giving medications and shots to dogs and all other kinds or animals. I have lots of personal experience with small animals, horses, reptiles, dogs, and cats. I have cared for animals young and old and I would love to help care for your pets! I also have a lot of experience taking care of many different types of house plants including orchids and other topical plants. I am a college student with a very flexible schedule. I am home most of the day and I am not usually gone for more than 3 hours at a time. On school days I am gone during the middle of the day but I come home in between classes to spend time with everyone. I have a nice fenced in yard that has plenty of room for a dog to run around. I have two pet water fountains that are rinsed and refilled every day. I have a calm and quiet home that can be helpful for anxious or shy pets. I make sure that I spend plenty of quality time with your pet in your home so they feel comfortable. I love all kinds of pets, and I make sure all of them get the love and care they need.
“Heather was such a pleasure to meet and work with. She immediately set me at ease with her professionalism and passion for caring for pets. My cats took to her right away, which I always take as a good sign. She kept me informed, which I loved, and made great decisions for my pets when I was unavailable to give input. Knowing she was caring for my pets eased my usual anxiety around leaving the house for extended periods of time. I will 100% utilize Heather when we are out of town again.”

“Crystal is dependable, professional and has the warm and genuine energy that you would want in a dog sitter! My dogs LOVED her and I was able to leave town knowing they were in the best of hands. Thank you Crystal!!!”

“Lauren is incredible!!!!! Has taken care of my pup twice a day since I was in the hospital!!!!! I know my Molly was in great hands!!!!! So lucky to have her to look after my Molly!”

About: Tucked away in the mountains, my off-grid home is more than just a boarding space—it’s a peaceful, nurturing retreat where both dogs and cats can feel safe, understood, and truly at home. I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals, and caring for them is second nature to me. Maybe it’s the Leo in me, but I’ve always been drawn to the independent, curious nature of cats, just as much as the loyalty and energy of dogs. I take the time to get to know each animal individually—their quirks, their comforts, and their communication style—because no two are the same. Whether they need adventure, structure, play, or just a quiet place to rest, I tailor their stay to what suits them best. My own pack includes two amazing dogs, both of whom I’ve raised since they were pups—an Australian Kelpie who thrives on activity and focus, and a Husky/Malamute mix who loves adventure just as much as I do. I also have two incredibly special cats, Face and Lilith. Face, my shadow and best friend, was once a wary barn cat who took 1.5 years to trust me. Now, he hikes with me and my dogs, showing an adaptability I’ve never seen in another cat. Lilith, my Hemingway cat, appeared as a tiny, helpless kitten in the woods and has since grown into a thriving, playful companion. Recently, I also took on the challenge of caring for and finding homes for 21 puppies all at once—an experience that reinforced my deep commitment to the well-being of every animal that comes into my care. For dogs, my home offers the perfect mix of adventure and comfort, with plenty of space to roam, explore, and play. For cats, I provide a dedicated, dog-free space downstairs, designed just for them, complete with padded, cloth-covered shelves, sunlit lounging spots, and plenty of enrichment to keep them engaged. Cats are never let outside unless specifically requested by their owner, ensuring their safety. Whether you have a dog who thrives on companionship and outdoor adventure or a cat who craves quiet comfort and personalized care, my home is a place where they will be loved, understood, and cared for like family. I do have a large fenced back yard which is behind expanded currently. Pet care isn’t just something I do—it’s fully integrated into my daily life. Living off-grid and working from home means I don’t have a traditional 9-to-5 schedule, so my time revolves around the animals in my care. From the moment I wake up, I’m tending to their needs—letting dogs out to stretch their legs in the fresh mountain air, preparing meals tailored to each pet, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Throughout the day, I engage with them in ways that suit their personalities—whether it’s a long hike through the woods for high-energy dogs, quiet companionship for more relaxed pets, or interactive play for curious cats. Because I’m always home, no animal is ever left alone for long. I have the flexibility to adapt to their needs in real-time, whether it’s providing extra comfort for a nervous newcomer or giving an active pup the extra exercise they crave. At night, every pet settles in safely, knowing they are in a warm, loving environment. Caring for animals isn’t a job I clock in and out of—it’s simply my way of life. Exercise and outdoor time are a big part of my daily routine. I take my dog for runs or walks multiple times a day, exploring the beautiful mountain trails and giving them the movement they need. If your dog enjoys exercise and adventure, I’d be happy to include them in these outings, ensuring they get plenty of physical activity and enrichment. Whether they prefer a leisurely stroll or a high-energy run, I tailor the experience to match their needs and comfort level. If your pet has special needs—such as medication, a specific feeding routine, or any other care requirements—I’m happy to integrate that into my daily schedule. Every animal is different, and I make sure to accommodate their unique needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for during their stay.

Message me anytime to discuss how I can help care for your animal! Since I care for animals full-time, my schedule is incredibly flexible. I spend my days studying at home and working on structured training and bonding with my smart dog, Rosie. Because Rosie is currently recovering from a leg injury, we stay close to home, meaning I am consistently available to dedicate my full time, energy, and attention to caring for your pets. I provide care directly in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their own space. My focus is just on sticking to your exact routine for feeding, medication, and potty breaks. About: I am on Kern County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team, I am fingerprinted and background vetted. So your animals and property would be well protected. I have taken care of animals of every kind since I was a young girl. I also worked at a veterinary hospital while I was in high school, which fueled my passion for animals. Family, friends and neighbors have all relied on me to take care of their beloved pets. Whether it's dropping dogs off at my home or me staying at their house to provide a calming, reassurance to your pet while they were gone. I am currently retired. So I have plenty of time to look in on your pet, take them for walks, give them love and nuzzles. Or just come and peek in on them and make sure they have plenty of food and water and that they are okay. Some animals that I take care of do not care for people to stick around in their home. So I just check on them several times a day and make sure they're doing okay. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to play with your pups and keep them active. I can easily create if need be.

“Stephanie was amazing and we will probably have her watch our cats again! Our eldest cat, Princess, dislikes strangers and takes a long time to warm up but Stephanie got her to warm up so quickly. Both my cats were treated like Kings and Queens. She was always communicative and even watered my plants for me. 10 out of 10!”

Amy Leigh was amazing with our cat Jasper! He really loved her company while we were away. He's a tough case when he needs to take medicine, and she did great. Amy Leigh also was willing to water the garden and take the trash out, which is so appreciated! Definitely will book with her again.
