I’ve been pet sitting consistently since 2018 and have built lasting relationships with many repeat clients who trust me with their pets year after year. I have experience administering medications, working extensively with senior pets, and providing individualized care based on each animal’s unique needs and personality. I also have some experience reinforcing training and maintaining consistency with established commands and routines. My background includes a degree in Biological Sciences, where I studied subjects such as animal behavior and physiology. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. During the week, I work from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and have a lunch break that allows me to come home for midday potty breaks, walks, and check-ins. I typically walk in the mornings before work, return home at lunch, and then spend additional time walking, playing, and relaxing with pets after work. On weekends, my schedule is even more flexible. Whether I’m spending time around the house, visiting a local park, or enjoying time around town, I love having dogs join me when appropriate. I intentionally plan my weekends around the pets in my care, and activities are always tailored to each animal’s age, energy level, personality, and needs. Whether your pet prefers long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra support as a senior, they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, and individualized care. When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any other care preferences provided by the owner. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on providing consistent care, companionship, and attention while you’re away. Chelsea has a kind, calming and caring way about her that they picked up on immediately. She sent pics and updates daily and responded to my texts. My husband said i was so much more relaxed than usual about being away from them. I felt very comfortable leaving them in Chelsea's care. i truly didn't worry about them at all. We always had to board T&L in the past. This was our first time using Rover snd we couldn't have been happier. They are so much happier in their own home with their usual routine. About: I currently work in veterinary medicine and am enrolled in vet tech school, so caring for animals is something I’m passionate about both professionally and personally. I have experience handling pets of different sizes, temperaments, and medical needs, and I always prioritize safety, patience, and comfort. I work at an Animal hospital in Oxford currently, so I have lots of free time to take care of furry friends! I also spend most of my time at home! Although I do stay in a tiny home, I have access to the dog park right up the road! I am more than willing to carry your pup to the dog park multiple times a day if needed, it’s almost a 5 min drive! If sitting at your place, I’m still happy to take them to the dog park! I can also send updates on how you’re pets doing throughout the day with pictures!

My passion is animal-assisted therapy because I’ve seen firsthand how much our furry friends can positively impact our lives. I grew up on a farm and have a dog of my own, so I understand that pets are family. I’ll make it my priority to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I also have experience working with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments through my time as a veterinary assistant. I’m also happy to administer medications and help with other routine care if needed. They are so fun to be with and play with. Also, I love to see when dogs wag their tails and lick their tongue out when you give them a treat when you are teaching them a trick and they get it right.
