Because of this I maintain my own schedule, which means your pets can be my priority when I am with them. My home is an active and engaging space, perfectly suited for dogs who thrive with plenty of stimulation and exercise. As the proud owner of a high-energy herding dog, I have firsthand experience in meeting the needs of active breeds. Our daily life is built around structured enrichment and ample physical activity, from puzzle games and training sessions to long, adventurous walks and play. Your dog won't just be staying with me—they’ll be joining a fun, dynamic routine that keeps their body and mind happily engaged. Your pet’s safety and comfort are paramount. I maintain a clean, secure, and pet-proofed home to ensure a stress-free environment. With a resident expert in canine energy, I am exceptionally attentive to reading play styles and ensuring all interactions are positive and supervised. If your dog loves to play and learn, they will fit right into our active and loving household.

About: My property has 1-acre of fenced space where your pup can run around until their heart’s content. If you have a senior pup, a young puppy, or a dog with complex medical needs, you have found the right home. Having loved and cared for my own Akitas through major health challenges—including blindness—I am completely comfortable managing complex medication schedules, topical treatments, oral meds, and injections. As an experienced dog and puppy foster (who even once fostered a litter of nine puppies!), I understand canine body language and know how to support anxious or transitioning pets. Rest assured, your pup will be cared for and welcomed with open arms no matter their situation. Pet care is my full-time job right now. I am generally away from the home for no more than a couple of hours, and if I do need to be away for longer, I will ensure you are aware in advance. I have a fenced backyard and three dogs of my own who will keep your pup company. My own dogs are a senior male, fully blind American Akita, an adult female pug mix, and a male puppy pug mix (the adult female’s puppy). I ensure all dogs are kept separate during mealtime and, as needed, during playtime where dog toys may be involved. I have crates and playpens, extra dog dishes, and plenty of indoor and outdoor toys for your pup to use as much or as little as they want. My own dogs love to cuddle and sleep on the couch and bed, and your pup is welcome to as well, as long as it’s okay with you. I’m happy to provide updates throughout your pup’s stay based on a frequency you’d prefer to ensure you feel comfortable with their time in my care.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs for as long as I can remember. I’m a huge dog lover who has 3 dogs at home. I’m frequently helping out friends or family by stopping by and taking care of their animals when they can’t be around. I’m currently a college student in Lexington, so I will make sure to work around my class schedule when it comes to drop-ins or overnight stays! I’m very flexible and will always find time to make your pet care requests work! I make sure to keep the enviornment exactly as the owner prefers, and make sure to take all safety measures seriously. I make sure to keep everything in order and tidy while respecting house rules. I own 3 energetic dogs who play constantly and run around the yard, so I am definitely used to a little controlled chaos. I can easily take dogs on walks or crate them. I also make sure to check in with the owner and send in pictures of their pet!

About: I have experience in home health care for the elderly, often providing support that extends to their pets as well. My experience with pets have been primarily dog walking for clients, feeding, pet/home maintenance I’m currently making myself entirely open to this experience into pet care as to making this my career. I enjoy being connected more with present life, and I feel as taking care of animals would set me on that track. I offered care to pets by fulfilling their needs, wants, and offering companionship. I also intend on extending care to making the environment more hygienic for the pet.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. At 12 years old I volunteered at Petland and worked with taking care of the puppies there. Then when I was 13 I was working with horse at a farm. When I turned 16 and could get a job I started working at a pet store and learning pet nutrition. Then I got a second job started working at a kennel I started out as a kennel tech and now I am a dog trainer. I’m currently working full time at a dog training facility. I typically work there from 10am to about 3pm each day. I also typically work on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. I have three fur babies that has 7.5 acres of land to fun and play. I also know a lot about pet nutrition so my dogs get fed some of the best food.

About: I have spent the last seven years providing dedicated animal care, and my love for animals has been a lifelong passion ever since I was young. My guarantee is your babies will be spoiled, ensuring they get all the love, personalized attention, and experienced care they deserve! With 7 years of professional animal care experience, pet care is an addiction at this point and is a dedicated part of my daily routine as I also own two Doberman Pinchers Bella and Zoey. I will make sure your baby(s), under my care will receive plenty of love featuring pets, kisses, hugs, butt scratches, neck scratches, attention, playtime (AKA:hide and seek), etc! Trust from my clients is what really matters to me the most! When caring for pets in your home, I follow your routines to ensure a reliable, stress-free, and comfortable environment while you're away. At anytime if I'm unsure about something, I will always verify with the owner to make sure there is always a constant connection.

About: I have been a dog lover my entire life. I am known as the dog whisperer. It' is rumored amongst pets of the existence of a dog petter who has the most loving energy. Many dogs only believe it to be legend. It is a real live person. It is me the dog whisperer. I have experience walking, administering meds through mouth and providing exercise and treats. There is no pet to big or small. I love them all. I have a rather flexible schedule due to working online. Only times I am not available when traveling for business as host for a travel group. I care for pets to the instructions of the pet owner. I know most dogs that are properly cared for require a lot of attention and prefer to be in the company of someone. I enjoy the company and love to give quality time to dogs. Such as playing fetch tug a war or long walks.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 11 and have experience with a wide veriety of small to large size dogs. Experience includins walking, playing, pottying , brushing and giving medicine. Pet care is my primary focus as I am not employed elsewhere. Because I stay at the pet's home, my routine is based around care of the pet. I spend my time in the client's home playing with and caring for the pet(s). I follow the pet's routine as directed by the client, providing walks, feedings, play and bedtime routines the pet is accustomed to having.
